@@JackSplains definitely not, well worth it, thank you for taking the time to make another great video. I would much rather have a well invested video than a rushed one. Thank you again!

trying to learn luster after i somehow managed to get a hang for phantom its confusing since its a new class for me but its fun learning it and this guide helps a lot
I really cant emphasize enough, that the "combo" I show with purge and luster time is really just using whatever works for the situation and using purge when possible to just restock your focus. What you use to "burn" focus is again, up to you and the situation.
Basically the idea is trigger Purge Style before activating Luster Time and once more before Luster Time Finisher. In the middle you can burn Focus at your will

With regards the PP combo discount. It appears that jumping or dodging will end the combo immediately. While not necessarily the best for DPS their range and/or high mobility make for some very cheap and safe damage which rapidly build up voltage.

Why trying to land the quick shot with fomel, how many enhanced arts do you need to do before it? Also, does it have to be enhanced without the normal version at the beginning of each PA? Like is normal flechette> enhanced flechette>normal brand ext>enhanced brand ext work? Assuming two PAs are enough for the combo
You must first perform an enhanced combo, which is doing an enhanced PA directly after another enhanced PA, then perfect attack with the weapon action. The combo you listed above would not work as you are inserting a normal pa in between 2 enhanced. To skip the first half/normal version of a PA and go right into it's enhanced version, it must be used and held during the animation of another PA. I don't really know how else to explain it. I think I explained and showed it better in the video.

do you have any recommendations on augments for the gunblade. I tried augmenting and messed it up so I kinda need to figure out how to augment it to make it better, hopefully better than the original rivalate
This depends on which weapon you are using due to different S Grade Augment slots. In general I would suggest Phrase decay on your Fomel Gunblade, and the gunblade s5 if you are using Rivelate. After that it's up to you.
Unless you want to use gunblade on Braver, I don't really see much of a point in using a luster sub over a hunter sub. A hunter sub gives lots of protections and safety nets.

Did anyone mention that they've been waiting on this vid? No....? That's surprising. :) All the other videos on this Class have been too long, confusing, or both.
I purposely leave them out. You're going to have to test damage for a few minutes on rockbear, and or in actual combat to really get a feel for it yourself.
You always want an element in your weapon as it increases it's base damage and then also does extra damage when attack enemies weak to it. On luster elemental damage does not matter and only changes the style of your gunblade. So just pick a style you like or multiple.
No it's a different attack you can either bind to a specific key in the control options, or place on your weapon palette like you would the normal attack or a photon art.
Ah 1 more question pls about the dodge when not locked how come mine when u dodge side to side when i do the it when i hear the soud it attacks on the side it completely miss the enemy unlike when i locked
psa to all you lusters lol S atk [MEL pwr] on units do nothing for luster its damage scales from R ATK only [RNG PWR] iv'e seen a few lv100 in global server ship 3 with higher affixed mel pwr than rng pwr and its triggering me XD augmenting for mel on your weapon is fine becuase of the skill you have to change it to rng pwr but this does not work on units so make sure you augment/affix for Rng pwr on units
I think the semi-official canon is that Luster is actually a class your character comes up with themself which is why there isn't an actual class trainer.

so, now that we have the last scion class what's the plan for new classes?
Maybe some new ones in NGS
@@JackSplains so what even is new genesis? Is it a massive update for the game, is pso2 just gonna be taken offline, whats going on with that
Just a Question Blac, does Stay Arts Guard Frames available for every Styles?
and also, what's your Weapon? Or Camo
@@kerkieburgers the camo is in photon booster shop
Flechette and scatte slug have guard points on stay in any style, the other 2 PAs then get guard frames on startup with stay arts with baran style.
I'm trying to find a way to get an element less 15 Star Gunblade.
You always want an element in your weapon as it increases it's base damage and then also does extra damage when attack enemies weak to it. On luster elemental damage does not matter and only changes the style of your gunblade. So just pick a style you like or multiple.
Omg I love your outfit. What is it called??
soooo....
valor emblem not recommended??
Finally
Yes!
Any Mag stats recommendation for luster?
Melee, Ranged, or Tech power, will work exactly the same. So use whichever you want.
Sooooo with atk type luster dmg scale of ?????
Ranged in general. For affixing, ranged on units and ranged or melee on weapon.
what is a weapon action isnt that the normal attack
No it's a different attack you can either bind to a specific key in the control options, or place on your weapon palette like you would the normal attack or a photon art.
@@JackSplains ohh thank you just saw it its the gun logo
Ah 1 more question pls about the dodge when not locked how come mine when u dodge side to side when i do the it when i hear the soud it attacks on the side it completely miss the enemy unlike when i locked
You're likely not facing the enemy. You either need to dodge then press forward directional while countering or stay locked on.
@@JackSplains thank you for that ill try that
why is only shifta active when the volt bonus is active in my character?
Have you learned the Tech Deband on that character?
@@JackSplains no
I think i get why
@@JackSplains also i can't do fomel WA after enhaced PA any tips or trick for that?
@@arfanputrafattah1190 use the enhanced PA and then do a 2nd enhanced then wait for the glare and weap action
Whyd you say its the final class?? Theres not gonna be anymore??
nah this is it for base pso2. we might get something new in new genesis
It's as Joshua says, there's not going to be any more classes for normal PSO2, however anything can happen with NGS.
Dang. Whats new genesis?? Sorry im not up to date lol will it be on console??
@@Eghost12 new genesis is basically like PSO2.5. It’s a new game but you can send your character between the two with some stat modification
Does anyone know the name of that gun blade camo?
You can get it from the photon booster exchange shop in the red light district.
@@rovaljax ty so much 🙏🏿
Is this only on PC for now?
It's also on Xbox One
@@JackSplains thanks for the reply
Does the skill tree still work?
The base Game PSO2 hasn't changed since I made this so it should still hold up.
Where does one get pa for luster
They are learned automatically, like all scion classes.
@@JackSplains haven't unlocked any scion class thank you for explaining
Well done sir.
Does anyone know what base wear and inner wear he has on the female character
There's actually no visible inner or basewear, it's all cast parts. If you're still interested let me know and I'll find the names for you.
@@JackSplains yeah I think I figured out it’s the furta legs and arms. The body your using would be helpful and the mask accessory your using
@@jakedeyonker9435 Nimbus Body, Emission Gear B
psa to all you lusters lol S atk [MEL pwr] on units do nothing for luster its damage scales from R ATK only [RNG PWR] iv'e seen a few lv100 in global server ship 3 with higher affixed mel pwr than rng pwr and its triggering me XD augmenting for mel on your weapon is fine becuase of the skill you have to change it to rng pwr but this does not work on units so make sure you augment/affix for Rng pwr on units
Is Cofy secretly a Luster?
She didn't even know she was until now.
I think the semi-official canon is that Luster is actually a class your character comes up with themself which is why there isn't an actual class trainer.
@@kevadu Doesn't Ash in official art for NGS use a Gunblade? That sounds pretty canon to me.
