i am only 2 weeks into the game... and this is by far the first video for affixing that actually made sense to me... I appreciate it.
Don't worry! Affixing is quite the complicated process, but i PROMISE it gets easier once you've done it a few times.

You could saved a bunch of money if your going down the transfer route just put the affix on a vita weapon instead of a nemesis cougar your only spending 15k instead of 35mill feeding the cougar into another cougar great video I always look to affix videos to see I can get any tips

Don't worry~ its quite easy to catch up in this game! Just being patient and slowly working on your own craft is usually the hardest part!
The god of RNG loves this man. When he says 5 million is cheap, that's when you know you are beyond poor.
I mean, I have played PSO2 JP since 2016 and I make 100m-200m on a bad day and 1b-2.5b on a good day of merchanting items for a couple hours.
If you don't know how to make money, grind Excubes, make +30 DIO weapons, sell them in market for 1.2m each.
Eventually, you'll sell a few hundred +30 DIO weapons and will have a few hundred mil that you can use for merchanting.

Exactly! It’s a bit more work, but there is no RNG and no big brain augment spreadsheets involved.

This is STUPID helpful. I'll be using this method to make myself some strong weapons both for my own use and to sell for that sweet sweet meseta.
Im glad there are useful guides because even the word augmenting makes me shudder, the games little mission for augmenting was extremely vague
I saw this video and your last one on UP-Slotting and I like the content you're putting out. I have a few tips and suggestions that I think you missed on the weapons that can save people millions. Like you mentioned in your last video, sometimes adding another fodder can increase the total Meseta of the affix by a lot. However if you use low star rating weapons(1 star ideally) as your base your costs will be SIGNIFICANTLY lower. This will be helpful when you are building your own fodders, and doing substantial UP-Slotting.(If you didn't bring ARKS fever up on your SAF's already, or buying from shop) I have a decent amount of information about the current state of doing unit affixes as far as what's cheap and easy on the market for relative power. If you'd like any more information or clarification let me know. Thanks for helping the PSO2 community!

I have a question regarding 4:50. Is there a reason why both the base and the materials weapons are both Nemesis? Could you have just up-slotted your original Nemesis Cougar from 6 to 7 slot, placed your augment factors on a "fodder" 6 slot weapon, and then use the fodder weapon as the base to transfer the augments onto your now 7 slot Nemesis Cougar with the Noble Might affix? Or do they have to be the same weapon?
I'm asking because I planning something similar with my Spread Needle but buying a second one might cost too much. I'm new to the game and affixing
Thank you for your video! As the affix boost is coming, I want to affix my weapon too. What do you think with the special augment factor "Phrase Weak" from the limit quest 13*? 2% damage boost seems great but I'm not sure about its efficiency.

So I'm still a little confused. Is it not possible to pick and choose certain affixes when putting them on different weapons? Or basically it's just finding weapons with the same affixes to keep those on there when putting new ones on
you can do it like that? then what if you use transfer pass to affix 1 noble and 1 grand? is it possible?
i know this is old but im wondering, can you do this with an 8 slot weapon? i guess you'd need 7 +35 weapons with 8 slots each and an augment item?
i’m trying to get augments from a gun blade to a katana but it doesn’t even give me an option to get the augments from the gunblade. do both weapons need to be +35? the katana just has some random augments i used for upslotting. this is my second time affixing & i really wanna get it right this time (i got a weapon from 4 slots to 0 my first time)
Your katana may not support the S grade ability you want to take off. You can check by going to the second tab when inspecting your weapon.
I keep forgetting about SAFs lol. I was about to do this the hard science way. I could always save up transfer passes if I do end up with one of those mega strong factors though.

@keroppi is it only ship 2 that have cheap arks max for units? and might V? im on ship 1 and buying those with 5 sockets or even 4 sockets and try to upslot cost millions
No, ship 2 is pricey as well. Markets fluctuate, however.
During the recording of this video (last week) prices were much lower, due to the recent patch with the augment transfer tickets is the reason why a lot of prices have increased dramatically.
so you don't actually want to buy ARKS Max. You want to buy 1 ARKS fever because ARKS fever will transfer at a 100% rate with only 1 copy. So what you do is buy the cheap ARKS fever unit, spend your EX-cubes to get it to the desired slot amount while maintaining ARKS fever on the unit because you will not need the fodders to have ARKS fever at all so you can just buy very cheap ones on the market. You then use 3 ARKS fever fodders to create ARKS Max on something. It's a much easier process with weapons due to SAF's though.
As far as Might V, that was acquired through a SAF for a weapon, getting Might V on a unit would cost you an incredible amount of money.
At what stage should we be worrying about really looking into this, maybe after we have all classes to 75? And have decided in our main, and maybe our first decent weapon to affix? As a newbie im wondering if I should be concerned about this just yet, how much bank roll should you be sitting on before doing this?
I wouldn’t worry about affixing until you have decided on a main class, hit level 80 on it and are having trouble with whatever content your doing.

Do you know, if you make a weapon purely of SAFs, just say a 5 slot, can those then be transferred to another weapon while still maintaining the 100 affix rate using that as fodder?
Yes. But you will need to use augment transfer passes instead of the traditional affixing method.
@@keroppi that's okay..... You slowly build up transfer passes when exchanging for class ex cubes. Thanks for the info. I'll be sitting with my weapon for a good while now till I figure out my 14 star to 15 star path. Still hoping the normal path for austere happens for NA. If your not struggling on any of the current content I would hold off affixing till ep 5 comes out. But if your struggling with the current content then affixing now is not a bad idea.
@@keroppi ok thanks ill wait but i was messing around with stuff to try and understand more ,so i got arks max on a 6 slot problem is when i go to affix my main arks max wont appear in the list,do i need 1 arks fever on 3 of the other 6 slot fodders for it to even appear again ? if so thats gonna cost allot isnt there another good affix alternative ? maybe just bang a noble might on there seeing as i have a few lying around
@@TheRapidVengeance You need a total of 3 arks fevers for arks max to appear. If you don't want to use Arks max you can always try using the SAF of the new weapons (from Deus Esca) which gives your +30 all pwr.

@keroppi I still don't get why you needed TWO Nemesis Cougars. Couldn't you have just put the SAF's on a trash 6 slot weapon and then use the Augment Transfer mechanic to your 7 slot Nemesis Cougar?
The reason I used 2 Nemesis Cougars was because I did not have enough Augment Transfer Passes (I require 50 of them). But I still wanted a strong Katana to use while I wait for the next reset next month.
How DOES one get augment transfer passes?
Swap Shop,exchange Class Ex-Cubes from level 100 classes after maxing out their EXP bar(limited amount per month so the more level 100 classes you have,of course the better, to get more passes.)

Ah yes, I've become the very source that I swore to ignore.... Affixing... blow 80 mil on units affixes recently xD
You forgot to mention you spent a few million meseta upslotting your Ray weapon from 4 slot to 6 slot in order to get Astral onto another 6 slot...just a tidbit of constructive criticism you should've reminded your viewers that the fodder items have to be equal or greater than in slots in order to transfer the augments/affixes you would be surprised on the percentage of the overall community that aren't aware of this fact and get discouraged or confused when they have a 5-7 slot item they want to augment but then realize that 90% of their inventory is 4 slot and below and become essentially useless until it is upslotted to accommodate their final product they are trying to create
