Quick reminder this guide was made before boost week announcement for non boost week affixing as well as before grand cap announcement. If you guys want I can post another recipe that might be easier / cheaper (depending on market prices at the time, because when the guide was made it was the cheapest way to get 200) that would be useful during boost week. This current affix is pretty cheap now, the expensive parts are the 5 STAT V and the modulator SAF. I did the same, but with luther rev.
Thanks for the recipe Keroppi. I plan to modify that recipe to use an SAF for Might VI instead of Might V after upgrading my profound gunblade to Trailblazer Sword. Had to upslot a siegkaiser sword to 8 slots.
The detail and quality of your video was very much appreciated. You didn't mess around or waste time. Very concise. I will say though, I really hope that when New Genesis comes around, they get rid of this augment/affix system. It is so needlessly complicated. I have been watching the guides, and its just personally irritating. I started when NA launched, and this is the only thing I feel that is bad about the game. As a newer person, it seems like its complicated for complicated sake. Granted, I also know this is an old game too so there won't be changes, hence why I'm looking forward to more news on New Genesis.

To be honest I don't feel capable to imagine and build this yet, but thanks to you and your video "The Easiest Way To Affix your Weapon" my goal is making a 8 slots Atlas EX with 4 S-Abilities and 4 SAF. Perhaps it still too ambitious but I will try, failing is learning too.
Yup! Just take it slow and it’ll click after you augment a few units/ weapons! If 8 augments is too complicated try starting on something smaller maybe a 6 augment weapon for your alt with a lower budget just to get the hang of things.

Nice guide. Been watching a few vids and got yourself a new sub :) I was considering 8s, but ultimately didn't want to go through all the potential heartbreak of 8s, especially with ep 6 prob coming to outclass Trailblazer soon again (or free trailblazer lol). I'm settling at 7s and 180 attack instead for the 3% ever since I found out Reverie Catalyst was SAF for the Profound weaps. Making 180 with S1-S3, Astral Soul SAF, Might VI SAF, Graceful Might, and Mana Reverie instead. Least with this I get a nice bit of HP and especially PP which helps.
Good guide. I forgot about the modulator SAF and ended up going down the expensive route. Now I'm smacking my head because I just now saw this video on my recommendations lol
Oh my god, thank you for this recipe. I had to burn 30 million Meseta to put this together (I shouldn't have sold my extra Persona Reverie/Apprentice Souls), but I finally have a roided out Trailblazer Katana for Braver and Phantom.
in terms of rng-atk you can use appregina rev instead of persona rev, makes life easier, in my case. I almost did the same but i found fodder at market with appregina rev and soul with prec V, then slap the 3 together with historia soul and modulator.
Just a quick tip for non boost week. If one of your fodder weapons has historia soul, it makes the base Reverie success rate to 70%. So dont be afraid to affix on non boost weeks :) Edit: Use a 30% boost to make it 100%
just lettin ya know i watch almost all your vidjas and you're very much appreciated. i just forget to hit like, plus i use the like feature as means to a history of videos i want to return to, so i'm kinda stingy with the likes otherwise i will bury videos i want t return to. as such, i liked this video as i will be returning to this.. also, i've been searching high and low and can't seem to find a good augment cookbook filled with various recipes like what to do with escarde soul and the like.. thank you for your effort
you couldve skip the historia soul on the trailblazer 1st try with a 2x historia soul and 3x might V and it will only cost u a 30% aid since boost week
Also if you can find them,you can get 7 slotted weapon that have the affixes on them as drops. I myself have found a weapon with +160 range attack and +150 which I can augment transfer into an 8 slotted trailblazer launcher using a grand precision for that 8th augment and then swap out the augments I don't need for s-augments.
I should've gone through the process this way. Wasted so many void fragments on Profound rifles to increase the cap to 35 just to see that the only rifle in the badge shop is the Allure rifle. So I have to buy the others off the market or farm them...
This might be late, but i'll share my recipe for 200 m-atk. Might VI +45 (SAF Dim melee weapon). Astral Soul +35 (SAF ray/union weapon). Varuna or Mitra Glare +30 (2 weapons, 1 random weapon and 1 from the +35 DIM weapon). Persona Reverie +40 (3 weapons to get more %, 1 from the starquake/profound BASE weapon, 2 from random weapons). Gracful Might +50 (augment might/pp3) capsule. It will give you the final result as : 200 mel 75 rng 105 tec 35 all def 35 dex 55 hp 12 pp
I'm not the least bit familiar with the NA/Global Player Shop/ Economy, but part of the benefit of these weapons is you affix the 13/14* version once first to unlock the free Reverie Catalyst SAF... Persona Reverie is cheap and may suffice but it's kind of nasty... ;/
Wish I knew about the exchange as I brought a 8 slot starquake rod for 89 million lol. Then I brought the rest of the weapons, as I tried upslotting and nothing but really bad fails. The weapon cost me my 300 million I have been saving for a few months of selling AC scratch. Oh well lol, made it into a PP batt at the moment with: S1: Luminous Grace S2: Photon thingy S3: Luminous Grace 2 Item Casting (60 t-atk one) Astral Soul Phrase Weak Modulator Sentence Triple Was going to have Casting VI, no hope then a high last one to make it to 200 or so but thought feck it, as I was already beaten up from the search/grind/affixing. Very nice video, thanks for going through it. I'm starting to understand affixing a bit more. Congrats on your weapon! 👍💪
apprentice soul, mana rev or persona rev, grand or grace might saf modulator, and vi. but very good job on your lightstream. (totally better than my first on on jp)
Hum well, I kinda have a cheap alternative getting the 200 atk and the melee amp,. look for a weapon on the personal shop that has at laest 6 slots and that have these augments: Mark anger, apprentice soul, persona reverie, and might III (or ranged or tec), then transfer the augments to your trailblazer weapon with a melee & pp/2 and you get 200atk with 1 slot for the melee amp(you need 50 augment pass for this) also make sure you affix the melee amp augment before doing the augment transfer. Tried this and ended using about 5M meseta total (4.5M for the melee&pp/2 and 500k for the weapon with 7 slots and the augments).
Damn so much work for so little reward, this is why i do a simple augments i dont want to get frustrated cause of a very badly thought system (the system could work if it was a little bit easier to understand and to do), i would rather grind for materials like for the rings to make it stronger then having to spend millions of meseta so that i can have extra dmg on a weapon.
@@lanoche yea, i right now have 3 atlas EX for my future phantom none of them are affixed and they are around +100 atck stats and 8-10 pp so im ok with it, i could have better augs etc but that would take alot of time and meseta to spend which i dont have sadly.
@@lanoche im really holding myself from affxing cause i know there is gonna be another events where we have boost affixing and we gonna have better augs and weapons so im gonna save my money for that what i can buy now its those MEL/PP affix for later.
Gz on the wep, idk If spending that much is worth tho, with NA bursting through content we will have better weapons very soon, imo people shouldn't worry about affixing until we hit end game unless you have alot of meseta to burn.
Hey Kero, just wanted to let you know you can save a little money, you didn't need 3 Apprentice souls for your fodders or main when putting Apprentice soul and Persona Reverie on. It's boost week so with 2 you'd be at 60% for Apprentice Soul and Persona reverie, and you're using the 40% anyway.
if your using 40% aids you don't need historia souls yuou can just use 3 persona reveries instead along wioth 2 apperiantce souls so theyt will both be 60% and btw the yellow part can come as natural drops as well. this means poutting 3 historia souls on the modulator unit is a waste of time since you only need the 5 fodders to make the requirements and the base can be bare.
I was able to buy cheap 7 slot weapons with the SAF's to combine for over 200. Astal/sentance/modulator/Atk VI / Flict/gran atk/ S1. I spent less then 8 million for all the 7 slot weapons. The atk vi was probably the hardest piece since I had to build it on boost week never saw it for sell. You lose the 2 S abilities but it's well balanced and so much cheaper. For me*
I think the global shop was/is* broken because it's damn near impossible for me to shop exclusively for augments. No matter what I try the results show zero, I even try typing in lowercase (cause that's a thing, apparently) and nada. So I'm left kind of blindly farming rare items and praying it has the augs I need so I can upslot it relatively cheap. It's made me not want to affix, but now playing as Etoile I am going for as much Melee power as possible and running with dang brissa armor since I'm still leveling - don't have enough dex for my maxed circaray units w/ rings I used as a hunter 😭
Lucky that you don't rely on an augment that isn't available currently :( Still waiting for Phrase Decay SSA before I combine everything into my lightstream rod Also only going up to 7s. Know kras and liberate redux is more stronger than lightstream, I'm not gonna heavily invest until then.
Nice vid but why do people think that they need an 8 slot profound wep to get an 8 slot trailblazer. So long as one of the weps you’re trading in has 8 slots you can have that as the base wep and carry all slots across to your trailblazer.

You could do it with Might 3 even, I used Mod,Apprentice,Persona,Precision 3 and grand precision. I think this is easy to go, or replace Mod with Astral soul. Basically one fodder piece is going to be a 13 star with a good aug factor.
@@BloodborneASN I was lucky to pull Grand casting from the scratch banner, as well as 50 melee. if you have a few pennies saved, This is a pretty good banner to try to get a grand capsule, or sell any other rare finds to buy one. Any other option would deem to be more expensive and time consuming imo. Maybe do the 50 capsule, and a V variant that matches your atk type to make up for that 10 state difference.
This was a really compreensive and cool tutorial my guym thank you for this and one thing ...do you think its worth using trailblazer units now? schvela units are coming so i dont know what to do.
If your having trouble staying alive now (Persona fight) then maybe think about upgrading. But if your not having any survivability issues and/or your not doing any hard content, then just wait for the newer units!
God it's still so confusing! So basically do you put a couple of good augments on your Lightstream, then make fodder to add the rest of the augments you want? When I tried putting augments on my Lightstream And then tried to add fodder everything went back to square one. I just don't get it for some annoying reason. Really pissing me off now. :(
Almost eh same as what im doing but instead of apprentice im gon' use astral but having my doubts my ray sword is already 8s and i dunno if i want to use a 50 mill as a fodder....
I think the only changes are switching might V for precision V, switching graceful might for graceful precision, and then switching S1: melee amp to another S1 based on your preference
For units the easiest and most budget thing to do is probs Arks Fever, Arks Max, Alles Di Soul, Deus factor and one of the Grace/Grand capsules. Should net you an easy 14pp 55hp and 125 into ur respective main atk stat and 65 in the other 2. Edit: Don't forget that units have hidden stats so it also depends on what units u have equipped. I.e Zeinesis has 120hp, 4pp, 15 all atk while Ivlida units have 90hp, 10pp 20 atk. If your looking for highest PP gain then Whiteal units are the best with 20pp and 20 all atk per unit so even without affixs if u have all 3 pieces its just flat 60pp meaning u can focus affixing atk stat instead
Could someone tell me what S and normal augments would be good for the Atlas EX?. I already got in S augments s4: lifesteal strike and s3: luminous grace 2, and in normal augments : might 2, mastery 3 and spirit 3.
@keroppi for some reason, on certain weapons, I am able to them Enhance from +30 to +35 without needing to use any duplicates of that same weapon. I don't really understand why it only works for some weapons, but not other weapons. Do you have any idea's on this?
Weapons exchanged from any NPC via medals only go up to 30 and require multiple copies of the same weapon to (limit break) them to +35. If you get a weapon from a drop (urgent quest/ bosses/ etc) the weapon naturally will be upgradable to +35
So this would seem like a silly question but I only have like a month and a half on the game, so how much dps do you really get out of going through all that trouble? I'm not sure about the math behind it but unlike other games(modding.ect) affixing does not seem to give you that much boost? Maybe I'm blind or not familiar with the system.
Generally PSO2's highest rarity for weapons is 15star. The lowest end of the 15star weapons are the Ophistia series and then at the moment the highest is the Trailblazer, but generally speaking these 15stars available now aren't the real endgame or Best in Slot 15stars yet. There are even better or crazier ones in EP6, but all 15star weapons are around 2k++ Attack base and the differences are just several hundreds. So if you feel like you don't really need all the firepower, you can really just use the free Atlas EX given to you 1st, that should be enough to do all contents till early to mid EP6. By then we should have more choices on deciding on the Top 5 strongest ones that are not out yet.
Its because you aren't considering the whole units and weapon together, 200 stats only? thats pretty laugable, but 200 stat on all unit pieces and the weapon? now your looking at a pretty massive increase of 800 in a particular stat. Or, if you manage to do super endgame 250 stat on all units and weapon, its now a 1000 stat boost, and make no mistake it gives quite a big damage boost with some weapons hitting over 300,000 damage in single hits consistently. Just take a look at any end-game JP boss runs, the damage they deal is insane.
can anyone direct me to how to even make the items needede to make the weapon in the first place. like the require items. i am really new to mmos and to pso2 and i am completely lost as to what to make. my friend legit left me in the dust when it comes to gear and i hard to understand him. i got the novel katana and currently have it at +20 but idk what to do with it. since it seems like it stops at 30? is there a video that walks noobies through the process? cuz even this video is a lot to take in.
Question: Is it at all viable to uplslot a specific affix rather than buy it already on an 8 slot? I'm in desperate need of bank space but have been hoarding some stuff for affixes later on without realizing how much pain getting to 8 slots without losing that affix could be. Also I'm desperately in need of excubes despite swapping nearly every 10+ star weapon I get below 7 or so slots.
If you are pretty desperate, there is Augment Transfer Passes from Class Excubes Exchanges but those only are worth it if you are transfering the affixes on low slot weapons/units, anything higher than 6 slot is gonna cost tons more Augment Transfer Passes and it's not worth it anymore. But that is the last resort. Just try to do some Extreme Quests, Sell some stuff up Personal Shop to get more meseta then.

Damn so much work for so little reward, this is why i do a simple augments i dont want to get frustrated cause of a very badly thought system (the system could work if it was a little bit easier to understand and to do), i would rather grind for materials like for the rings to make it stronger then having to spend millions of meseta so that i can have extra dmg on a weapon.
@@lanoche yea, i right now have 3 atlas EX for my future phantom none of them are affixed and they are around +100 atck stats and 8-10 pp so im ok with it, i could have better augs etc but that would take alot of time and meseta to spend which i dont have sadly.
@@lanoche im really holding myself from affxing cause i know there is gonna be another events where we have boost affixing and we gonna have better augs and weapons so im gonna save my money for that what i can buy now its those MEL/PP affix for later.
Gz on the wep, idk If spending that much is worth tho, with NA bursting through content we will have better weapons very soon, imo people shouldn't worry about affixing until we hit end game unless you have alot of meseta to burn.
Hey Kero, just wanted to let you know you can save a little money, you didn't need 3 Apprentice souls for your fodders or main when putting Apprentice soul and Persona Reverie on. It's boost week so with 2 you'd be at 60% for Apprentice Soul and Persona reverie, and you're using the 40% anyway.
For me. Every weapon and augment is prepared and ready to go...just the slow crawl collecting those Void Fragments...
if your using 40% aids you don't need historia souls yuou can just use 3 persona reveries instead along wioth 2 apperiantce souls so theyt will both be 60% and btw the yellow part can come as natural drops as well. this means poutting 3 historia souls on the modulator unit is a waste of time since you only need the 5 fodders to make the requirements and the base can be bare.

I'm all set for the augments for my 8s katana just need 400 ex cubes
I was able to buy cheap 7 slot weapons with the SAF's to combine for over 200. Astal/sentance/modulator/Atk VI / Flict/gran atk/ S1.
I spent less then 8 million for all the 7 slot weapons. The atk vi was probably the hardest piece since I had to build it on boost week never saw it for sell. You lose the 2 S abilities but it's well balanced and so much cheaper.

I think the global shop was/is* broken because it's damn near impossible for me to shop exclusively for augments. No matter what I try the results show zero, I even try typing in lowercase (cause that's a thing, apparently) and nada. So I'm left kind of blindly farming rare items and praying it has the augs I need so I can upslot it relatively cheap. It's made me not want to affix, but now playing as Etoile I am going for as much Melee power as possible and running with dang brissa armor since I'm still leveling - don't have enough dex for my maxed circaray units w/ rings I used as a hunter 😭

Also only going up to 7s. Know kras and liberate redux is more stronger than lightstream, I'm not gonna heavily invest until then.
Those 8 slot gunblades are 20mil on ship 3 rn, so I bought a 7 slot with 5 mil and up slot to 8 with almost all augments at 58% and succeeded lol.
I'm stuck at modulator and already out of money.

Nice vid but why do people think that they need an 8 slot profound wep to get an 8 slot trailblazer. So long as one of the weps you’re trading in has 8 slots you can have that as the base wep and carry all slots across to your trailblazer.

You could do it with Might 3 even, I used Mod,Apprentice,Persona,Precision 3 and grand precision. I think this is easy to go, or replace Mod with Astral soul. Basically one fodder piece is going to be a 13 star with a good aug factor.

@@BloodborneASN I was lucky to pull Grand casting from the scratch banner, as well as 50 melee. if you have a few pennies saved, This is a pretty good banner to try to get a grand capsule, or sell any other rare finds to buy one. Any other option would deem to be more expensive and time consuming imo. Maybe do the 50 capsule, and a V variant that matches your atk type to make up for that 10 state difference.

If your having trouble staying alive now (Persona fight) then maybe think about upgrading. But if your not having any survivability issues and/or your not doing any hard content, then just wait for the newer units!
God it's still so confusing! So basically do you put a couple of good augments on your Lightstream, then make fodder to add the rest of the augments you want? When I tried putting augments on my Lightstream And then tried to add fodder everything went back to square one. I just don't get it for some annoying reason. Really pissing me off now. :(

I think the only changes are switching might V for precision V, switching graceful might for graceful precision, and then switching S1: melee amp to another S1 based on your preference

For units the easiest and most budget thing to do is probs Arks Fever, Arks Max, Alles Di Soul, Deus factor and one of the Grace/Grand capsules. Should net you an easy 14pp 55hp and 125 into ur respective main atk stat and 65 in the other 2.
Edit: Don't forget that units have hidden stats so it also depends on what units u have equipped. I.e Zeinesis has 120hp, 4pp, 15 all atk while Ivlida units have 90hp, 10pp 20 atk. If your looking for highest PP gain then Whiteal units are the best with 20pp and 20 all atk per unit so even without affixs if u have all 3 pieces its just flat 60pp meaning u can focus affixing atk stat instead
Could someone tell me what S and normal augments would be good for the Atlas EX?. I already got in S augments s4: lifesteal strike and s3: luminous grace 2, and in normal augments : might 2, mastery 3 and spirit 3.
@keroppi for some reason, on certain weapons, I am able to them Enhance from +30 to +35 without needing to use any duplicates of that same weapon. I don't really understand why it only works for some weapons, but not other weapons. Do you have any idea's on this?
Weapons exchanged from any NPC via medals only go up to 30 and require multiple copies of the same weapon to (limit break) them to +35. If you get a weapon from a drop (urgent quest/ bosses/ etc) the weapon naturally will be upgradable to +35

So this would seem like a silly question but I only have like a month and a half on the game, so how much dps do you really get out of going through all that trouble? I'm not sure about the math behind it but unlike other games(modding.ect) affixing does not seem to give you that much boost? Maybe I'm blind or not familiar with the system.
Generally PSO2's highest rarity for weapons is 15star. The lowest end of the 15star weapons are the Ophistia series and then at the moment the highest is the Trailblazer, but generally speaking these 15stars available now aren't the real endgame or Best in Slot 15stars yet. There are even better or crazier ones in EP6, but all 15star weapons are around 2k++ Attack base and the differences are just several hundreds. So if you feel like you don't really need all the firepower, you can really just use the free Atlas EX given to you 1st, that should be enough to do all contents till early to mid EP6. By then we should have more choices on deciding on the Top 5 strongest ones that are not out yet.
Its because you aren't considering the whole units and weapon together, 200 stats only? thats pretty laugable, but 200 stat on all unit pieces and the weapon? now your looking at a pretty massive increase of 800 in a particular stat. Or, if you manage to do super endgame 250 stat on all units and weapon, its now a 1000 stat boost, and make no mistake it gives quite a big damage boost with some weapons hitting over 300,000 damage in single hits consistently. Just take a look at any end-game JP boss runs, the damage they deal is insane.

Question: Is it at all viable to uplslot a specific affix rather than buy it already on an 8 slot? I'm in desperate need of bank space but have been hoarding some stuff for affixes later on without realizing how much pain getting to 8 slots without losing that affix could be. Also I'm desperately in need of excubes despite swapping nearly every 10+ star weapon I get below 7 or so slots.
If you are pretty desperate, there is Augment Transfer Passes from Class Excubes Exchanges but those only are worth it if you are transfering the affixes on low slot weapons/units, anything higher than 6 slot is gonna cost tons more Augment Transfer Passes and it's not worth it anymore. But that is the last resort. Just try to do some Extreme Quests, Sell some stuff up Personal Shop to get more meseta then.
