- In this Video, I cut the frame apart and install the Motobilt 15” stretch back half kit, I didn’t go into a lot of detail on this video, but it does show all the steps you have to take to put this kit together.
I’m very pleased with how easy this all lined up and fit
This will be a series on building the whole Jeep from start to “finish” (is a build ever really finished? Lol)
Stay tuned and watch for Part 3 where I’ll go into cutting the frame apart and mocking up the front half kit

Nice work. You make it look pretty easy. I’m glad youtube thought I’d like this video. You got my sun and like. I’ll be watching a few other videos. I e got a 89 yj that’s built old school, so an update in I’m my future. Keep it up.
Great job, congratulations
It’s finally here 🎉
Great video very helpful for my build all is clear good job 👍🏻
Might put some bent fish mouth pieces at the section that rises up, increased the strength of that section
That’s the plan, it has the body sitting on it right now, but once I pull the tub off again I’m going the fish plate every welded joint on it, I see people do these back half’s and front half’s without doing the plates but I’d much rather have them, if not for anything more than just peace of mind lol
