    Is there a way to have double triangulated kit to be less than that 5" drop? I would run a bodylift and with an LJ i would like the most belly clearance i can get...

    I ordered the new kit but I am now concerned about the front drive shaft on the fro for a YJ with 05+ Dana 60 up front with a 5.3 LS?

    Iv installed the old style on 2 rigs and ill say its rad. When you use one tons with the old setup on a TJ/LJ an intermediate drive shaft is absolutely necessary. Great kit, would definitely use again. I kinda want to try the new setup for my personal project....

      Installed one of the old kit, intermediate shaft not necessary…..
      Now maxed out driveshafts due to shorter upper links? That was an issue. Lol

      @Ryan Cranfill with 1 tons? 05+ supers? Thats what i used and the front upper link bracket was in the way. No way to run a 1 peice. Also.....118" wheel base. I didnt have any issues with drive shafts maxing out, running 18" ADS air shocks.

      @@gatekeeperoffroad Yup. Tj with super duty axles, 14" ORIs. we did run a three link up front. cut off the upper link bracket on the driver side, plenty of room for driveshaft. rig was a fair bit shorter, 103" IIRC, which didnt help on the driveshaft angle. This rig was stretched more in the rear than mine, but driveshaft bound still (mine doesnt, but my uppers are longer than lowers.)

      @@rubberduckyTJ ahh yes i was 4 link front and rear. And there was no getting around that upper link bracket. 103" on supers seems awfully short!

      @@gatekeeperoffroad Little stubby for sure, but customer wanted to keep stock steering box, and a fuel tank. i did the same on my first build iteration, and was even smaller at 101" LOL

    Can either/both be made to work on a CJ7? I haven't looked to see if these are application specific or universal.

    • @Motobilt_inc

      This will not work on a CJ the frame is more narrow at the front.

    Front driveshaft gonna clear with the new kit?

    • @Motobilt_inc
      @Motobilt_inc  2 роки тому

      All depends on your drive train, wheel base, height, etc. On our YJ it was as we are running a 14 bolt front so the pinion is really low.

      @@Motobilt_inc ive got the older style d60 high pinion going in(78 ford) with the pumpkin closer to the center than a super duty.(currently have the same style 44 in there but its getting swapped for the 60) Do you have any pics of how you cleared it with intermediate shaft?
