This is pretty unbelievable. Im 30 but I grew up with The Doors as my favorite band and also Pink Floyd. I idolized Robbies guitar sound which seems to have originated from his classical training and handpicking technique. It really added to The Doors "Earthy" sound. Really unique, mystical, psychedelic and down to earth I guess. Keep on rocking Robbie, you made my day brighter knowing that your still around.
Hi Robby, your son is very special and you know it, not one too many... I'm sure you are joking. I had a great time seeing you and your band last time in Portland, Oregon, you may recall meeting me, I cannot forget you... I do understand what you mean about writing the Pope, when I write to him about my own issues, I'll mention this important issue. I've done my part, I have no children at all. Keep on rocking, I'm a fan of The Doors from day one when I was seven years old, I told you when we met and you hugged me, thanks. You're a guitar God, for sure!!! Your son was nice to be my friend on Facebook and I only have two... it's cool... keep up the rock and the roll of it all!!! Love you, Lisa It is very important to keep on performing and your son is PERFECT FOR SINGING THE SONGS OF THE DOORS, PERFECT! Hopefully this terrible pandemic will be over soon, meanwhile, this video stuff is good too.
I'm so glad that my parents decided 61 years ago to have a third child, otherwise, I wouldn't be here, lol! However, I totally get what you are saying, and I am happy that we are all able to have minds of our own and different opinions. Please keep posting videos here, they are so great! Any chance of getting your wife to join in on one? It would be interesting to hear her thoughts since she was in a unique position to see the 60's and Door history as it unfolded. Hope the rest of your Sunday is lovely!
I am so happy that you are still doing well. I had the pleasure of meeting with you and Jim and Ray and John. I was one of the luckiest people people in the world. It was at the Intramural Bldg at the University of Michigan on Oct 20th 1967.it was called the worst concert ever. But, I stayed until The End finally was played and sung so masterfully. It's funny how no one seems to remember that you, Manzarek and Densmore were booed off the stage by the worst concert audience ever. They were huge football players, and future N.F.L. players, Big Ten wrestling champions, and people such as myself, a third year Big Ten gymnast, and a bunch of students that didn't have any idea of what a long intro was to The Doors. Jim was so drunk, he couldn't even get to the stage. So, after about a half hour, the 4 of you came back on stage, with Jim Morrison drunk as a skunk (Manzarek's quote).Anyhow, about 15 minutes later, Jim was flailing his arms in his white silk shirt, and knocked down the backdrop behind you, on the right side of the stage. Jim used some strong F- words, directed at the Homecoming Dance enthusiasts ( only because he drank the quart of whiskey about 5pm, and at 9:30pm.,being walked off the stage by Manzarek and the police and security personnel. That is what I saw, of the 1st and 2nd sets. I remember that you, Densmore and Manzarek hung in there for dear " life ", backstage, hoping that Jim Morrison will sober up. Anyhow, there are 2 more sets to this concert. The crowd of about 2,000 dwindled down to about 200. They all left, thinking it was such a disastrous thing that happened. But I have the final version of that mystical night, that I have carried out in my memory for 56 years. I would really like to meet up with you and finish this story of a concert that was the worst concert in the world, to the best concert in the universe...ever!!! Finally, everyone I meet that has listened to this story , I tell them that you don't go to see a Doors concert, you go to FEEL it!!!.🎉. Great works. Thanks 😊.

Well, Robbie, you can’t lose any Doors friends back then cause you didn’t have any until Jim Morrison Jr showed up there were 400,000 doors followers on Facebook in 2017 when he started his showing N now 2024 there’s 18 million and guess what Robby he is guy k. N homeless is that cool is it Robby is it well is it …
Hey, Robbie, I was 7 years old when I first heard, "Hello, I love you." I have been a devoted fan since. But when you talk about world politics or philosophy, now you are talking about something I may know about. You may not think much of me because I am a nobody. But I'll give you my opinion. There about, roughly speaking, 8 billion on this planet. In 1830 there was, for the first time, about a billion humans walking on planet earth, then in 1930 it reached about 2 billion, followed in 1960 by 3 billion, and in 1976 by 4 billion. These are statistics, of course. And as Mark Twain said. "there are lies, damned lies, and statistics." There is a term popular now called exponential growth-which really is hard to apply to the human situation. The bottom line is that anything could happen. The main thing is that you are correct. Our current situation is unsustainable. We live in a finite world with limited resources. The very idea of capitalism, of unlimited economic growth in a finite world, is not possible or sustainable. We must live within our means. "There is enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed" M Gandhi. I am sorry if I seem arrogant, but this a subject I've spent 50 years thinking about. I think about this like you play the guitar- it's what do. I have much respect for you and, of course, Umi. Gotta love our pups. I hope you see this, because it would an honor for me to converse with you. Peace, with much love and respect. Francis
Robby, you're right about our course being unsustainable but with all due respect the answer is not to decree a religious mandate on procreation. That smacks of the old world order that our forefathers left to establish our great country with all its freedoms and liberties.... Much respect peace and love to you stay safe...✌❤🤘
I saw this last year, didn't say anything but this was cool. :) On the environment and the planet, I think the goal is to burn this place out and relocate on Mars or something. It's what seems to be happening, probably on purpose on some level.

Meh. Many populations have staying steady population-wise or even shrinking. In the meantime, other populations are happily and thoughtlessly exploding and these particular people aren't listening to you nor know who you are. How do you solve that problem?
