This really makes you appreciate how important editing is to a movie, like cool show shot of Rod getting into his car, but we really don’t need to see his entire journey, we know how driving works. But I also get the feeling. If he hired an editor, he quickly threw in the towel.
I honestly thought that Birdemic was the WORST movie I had seen in my life! Then, I watched the Japanese horror film "House" (1977)... after that, I just didn't want to live on this planet anymore.
Atleast that movie is stylish, fun , campy and wild intentionally, I wouldnt called it bad per say, it has a cult status for a reason. It's just not everybodys cup of tea and it's understandable , plus the entire thing seems to be a metaphor of a young girl growing into womanhood and losing parts of herself as she settles into gender expectations as she grows up, which is one of the reasons it's so weird
