Since I’m currently poor, the only grails in my mind are around $5000. I don’t even look at or into watches that are completely unrealistic to even own.

If you are a multi billionaire even a million dollar watch is nothing. People dont understand the size of a billion.. lets say hes worth 10 billion. He could spend a milion like a millionaire spends just $100.

A $3000 dollar IWC GST titanium means a lot to me, it won't feel like a billion but I feel so good wearing it.

I was a bit surprised that Mark Zuckerberg chose some left-field, but still interesting and tasteful watches. Also,I really like your selecion of grail watches (apart from the dream watch...). I don't think I would buy very expensive watches even if I had a ton of money. I would not feel good (or safe) wearing such a watch in public. I think I would buy one Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Microrotor with a steel case and grey dial, I really like the looks of that one. Another watch I find beautiful is the Vacheron Constantin 222 you showed, but it is a bit too flashy for my taste.

Hi Cris, nice excercise., My three dream watches are... 1.- Laurent Ferrier blue sport, 2.- A Lange & Sohne "One", and for my "beater" an Omega aquaterra shades blue dial. and I would use the heck out of them. Maybe it's not a billionaire's list., but hey, I love these watches. Greeting from MX.
I have only one grail watch: Glashutte Original PanoMatic Lunar. That's it, just one As an old retired guy, I could take the 10k out of my 401k, but choose to save that in case I need it when I am an even older retired guy!

I’m happy for anyone buying a watch that they can afford and love. Not sure I feel the same for billionaires who have built their wealth by not paying proportionate taxes. In as many ways as he bought himself a watch, we all paid taxes so he wouldn’t have to. Yet people will admire his wealth and ignore the fact that he also cries Bezo type broke come tax time. 🤨
