i lost my dad at a relatively young age of 17. it does really tear you up inside, and it's very taxing on your mental, especially if you're prone to mental blockages like dwelling on the past. it's been 1.5 years and to this day i still grieve. it's best to let it all out and not push it away, because everytime i mentioned my dad it'd be hard not to break down, it definitely ruins you inside and it's a shame because so many people struggle with it and don't speak out

Rudy has my biggest respect! I was at 160kg in 2015/2016 and went down to around 80kg by walking a lot and eating almost nothing which was really not healthy. I started working out about a year ago, because I went up to over 120kg again and wanted to make a change. It was difficult but I started to love working out and build muscle. I can't imagine how much more difficult it was for Rudy and I'm glad he had someone who was supporting him so much. It's so heartwarming and he is so inspiring. He was working really hard to get to where he is now and even though I don't know him, I'm really proud of him and what he had achieved!

So what he did is not easy at all and it is a great sign of of mental strength and of course physical stamina as well. Ont. It is very encouraging and wholesome and I was happy to see such great support and camaraderie. I hope to create or have a healthy support system to because it really does make all the difference and way to Rudy! I also like the time to acknowledge how far he has come because it can be so easy to forget or not realize just how far we've come along the way. Go Rudy!! I am also a resident from the Rio Grande Valley where McAllen, Texas is located and it is hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle due to lack of nutrition education and healthy eating options. I commend JJW for highlighting this success story and investing in the health of Rudys life. The RGV is proud!

This is so amazing. I’ve tried to loose weight and gain muscle but I’ve always just ended up giving up after 2 days. Seeing this right when it came out, I realized if I actually gone through with it since my first attempt at gaining, I would’ve reached my goals. Proud to say that I’ve extended that 2 days to 5 days in a row 💀💀💀

I was noticing it seems like he is having trouble connecting with other people in the beginning and the longer he goes through this the more happy and able to connect he becomes. It was really heartwarming to see a man transform himself like that and be so similar mentally to me because sometimes I get discouraged by my lack of ability to connect but he is giving me hope for myself

I want to thank Rudy for going though this change, I have been struggling to go to the gym through work and everything I have going on right now, But after seeing that Rudy is able to do it makes me happy and motivated! I also want to thank Jesse, his videos have helped me figure out more about training than anyone else has. Not only do I think this will inspire me in the gym aspect but also in my grind with my 3 jobs! So thank you both so much!

This is a great example of how hard it is for an adult who is obese and how challenging it is to stay consistent but only you yourself can do it for yourself. No excuses no matter what your life has been like and how it’s going. Only you can change your own life. Most people want an easy way to lose weight but it’s a life style change not a temporary one.

Very inspiring and a lot of the quotes and ways Rudy stays motivated can be translated to other aspects of life which inspired me more than the fitness aspect. Thanks for sharing his story.
