    The original T8 bit is also double sided: it's a hex driver on the other end.
    I agree that a T6 would have been better but at least they produce an additional bit for that. (It's their own bit, not 3rd party.)

      I think Victorinox has produced additional double bits for the Champ XXL.

      @urbanknifeguy  Рік тому +1

      Thanks! Yes, I understand that T8/ T6 is a Victorinox part, which makes it all the more annoying they did not include it. Maybe it was more after the fact.

    EDT - yes! I have a Cybertool M and that’s exactly how I use it. Stays on the kitchen counter, and gets used everyday.

    Impressed you found one with a ball for retention. The link in the description goes to a product that's now not on eBay. Do you remember what you searched of rot find this?

    Ehm, the original bit fits most screws used in furniture like ikea. So it isn’t perfect for you, but for everyday use it is perfect.

    I was the technical support guy for telephony related apps for over 14 years, if it was available back then and I would have known about it, I would have probably gotten one.

      Cybertool came out in 2000 but I think the marketing just wasn't as strong or got overshadowed by other models.

    Great review! Purchased one of these when I found out they would be discontinued (the only place you can buy them in the uk now is direct from Victorinox). The only three issues that stopped me daily carrying this is the lack of torx security, I also find the knife and bit driver hard to access being next to each other and the lack of scissors. Still really like it but can’t make it my edc

    Hey JC,
    Great review buddy 👍🏻
    I’m a big fan of the Victorinox SAK’s
    but I don’t have any cybertool models.
    However I’m going to have to take a closer look now 😀
    Thanks for this one brother 😎👍🏻

      @@urbanknifeguy Same here, I stumbled to your channel as I have been looking for so long for a Victorinox EDC, but i really need a straight Philips driver as my EDC preference. Went with Cybertool S over the explorer as I can do more things with the cybertool S in the expense of scissors.
      Thanks for your review and channel, i really like your style, the black table and product as you really get to see things in detail. I appreciate it.

    Hey there ... What does EDT stand for ?

  • @clodvonclout
    @clodvonclout 4 місяці тому

    Almost perfect for me. I wish victorinox will remove the traditional bottle and can opener and change to scissors. Remove the small knife and ads the combo bottle can opener tool. This will be perfect for me.

    • @NorthBorneoLights
      @NorthBorneoLights Рік тому +2

      @@tangerinesails6207 Yup, whatever happened to just sending out a simple notification. Isn't the whole point of the internet, and especially youtube, is that you can watch whatever content you want instantly? Putting on this artificial schedule really grinds my gears.
      Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to make these types of comments, but like I said, I actually do like his content. I just can't abide by these "features".
