Hi Andrey, A hint: If you enlarge the score more you can move the staves exactly the way you want…. like always exactly 18 as an example. of course you need enough overall vertical space for the staves to spread out a certain distance. an other great way to optimize is, to slightly change the size of the staff size. It is amazing what that can do.
Once you are looking at the score where you want an instrument smaller than the others (like the piano in your question), press I (the letter i) to bring up the Instruments window. On the right side where it lists the instruments/staves in your score, double-click under "Staff size" next to the instrument you want to adjust. Click it again to choose a different size from the list. 😃
Really good video, I'm mostly a finale user and I want to learn Sibelius, I have a question, How do I use the rulers in order to change the space between staves horizontally?
this is a really good question, and I will make a video about this. If you have a score with an instrumentation you like, go to File -> Export -> Manuscript Paper (the last option in the list). Then, save it to a category or make a new one. That will allow you to access a blank version of that same score, preserving that instrumentation. It will appear in that opening menu in whatever category you assign it to
Like, you have one measure, a page break, and then more music afterwards? There's probably a little purple page sign on the bottom right that you can click and delete, which should help. Otherwise, dragging systems around can help you adjust things. Also, changing the size of the score in the Layout tab to a smaller size can help shift stuff around. Good luck!
How can I align the notes of different voices in the same staff? Quarter notes of different voices don’t stack or align properly. Thank you for the tutorial.
If I understand you correctly, you mean voices 1-4, the different colored ones? The way that works is that voices 1 & 3, and 2 & 4, are designed to stack on top of each other, while 1&2, 2&3, 3&4 will automatically be adjacent unless there is a unison. So if you are writing choral style, for example, try using voice 1&2 in the treble and bass clefs only, and I guarantee everything will line up right. Hopefully I answered your question?
What do you mean by unnecessary pauses? If you go to "Filters" you can select entire groups of like objects and delete that way. If you mean extra fermatas, for example, you can filter out the fermatas and then remove them in bulk that way
that is a strange bug, one that I have never experienced! The first thing i would try is to undo whatever the last change was you made, maybe that caused the issue. If that doesn't work, try opening a different file to see if the problem extends to your other scores. If it doesn't, you can open up a backup file of your score (in the "Backup Scores" folder located in the main Scores folder. Let me know if any of that helps.
@@darushkii I'm doing as you notice but It doesn't change I guess I change the main view by mistake.. It's not the sort of something Like an error or bug
You can also hold 'alt' and 'shift" and then use arrow keys to move staves separately (without affecting the other ones) :)

Happy to help! And thank you for the cookie :)
Hi. How it sounds?
How did you make the piano part smaller?

How do you make template for an instrument configuration you use a lot?

What if there's a single bar on a page.. how can I fix that

Hello. I was wondering, is there any way to easily remove unnecessary pauses in one go, instead of manually selecting them and pressing delete?

Спасибо большое! Очень и очень здорово, всё понятно, слава небу- нашла вас)))😅
Hi Andrey. My whole score suddenly turned out to black.... Can I ask how to turn to white back..???

Quit Sibelius, Sibelius crashed.
Lol, indeed sometimes you just need to walk away...
