Hopefully it’s simply the Master. And he’s “the one who waits” because he’s truly immortal and lived for billions of years - as it’s revealed _he_ is the Timeless Child. He only convinced the Doctor that he was the Timeless Child just to mess with him, thinking it’d be funny to have him go through an existential crisis.
@@arc7375Honestly, hopefully it’s not the Master. The character needs a break and there’s just so much more that could be done that doesn’t centre around them.
The Toymaker didn’t seem to like the One Who Waits either, even though he met the Master.

@@fanachy7861 Maybe the One Who Waits is another personification of something? The Toymaker was about "Play", Maestro about "Music" so maybe The One Who Waits is about "Nothingness"? I know it sounds wierd but imagine a being that absorbs the will to act from others and just stands there waiting and the reason the Toymaker hid from them is that the One Who Waits wouldn´t play no matter what which is the opposite of the Toymaker.

@@valexcx it's "they're", their indicates an individual or belonging, "it's theirs", but for this you use "they're" due to it being an abbreviated version of "they are", which ultimately fits better into the sentence. "Their a pantheon of Gods" or "They are a pantheon of Gods".

No that was Maestro laughing like there farther. It's to symbolise to the Doctor that this is one of the Pantheon of Gods. Which was why he looked so confident and then terrified.

Actually angry - no matter what else you say about Maestro, the anger feels real, and feels scary. Worked for me more effectively than the past 3 Masters (and I always liked the Missy actor).

I've seen a lot of people get confused about it and was just correcting you in case you had.
While I don't think they would have been a better master than the last 3, especially not Missy, I'm definitely with you in that they could have played the Master
The fact that her father used to be the Toymaker makes everything clear about the legions because if she's the living incarnation of music, who or what do you think the rest will be ?
I feel like there should be an art one and that the rest will all be different forms of fun/expression

I also thought of an actor one, the incarnation of faking and pretending, or even an animator or a commedian one, the essence of pure entertainment

I have a theory about Ruby, what if she's also one of the Toysmaker 's Legion ? He left her in Earth when she was a baby and thats why she has those mysterious powers. Would be SOOOO cool to see a Legion as the Doctor's companion
Nah. I think she’s related Susan. They’ve been dropping a lot of hints.
But why is she making that sudden snow fall from nowhere then? There's a mystery around her I feel something more twisting.
The Doctor also told Rose that he had a child in Season 2 and it wasnt around Rose so maybe they're hinting us all this to keep us Away from the real twist
Maybe she's related to the daughter that grew rapidly back when Martha was the companion in the episode "The Doctor's Daughter". I wish we got more of her story...

I will admit, Maestro looks very scary and this scene proves it. If i'd see it come out of the piano like that and say "You called!" I'd be really frightened. 😨
Especially with a traumatized Doctor whose soul was literally split in half by The Toymaker. And use of The Giggle.
