When thinking back to Fallout 3, I always chuck it into the "Bethesda didn't quite understand Fallout" bin, but seeing this made me flash back to all the amazing moments I had when I played it all that time ago. The first time I left the Vault and saw the ruined wasteland. The WTF moment of accidently finding Dukov's Place while fleeing from a pack of Mirelurks. Being threatened by a shotgun-toting child in the Republic of Dave Laying eyes on Harold for the first time. Lots of moments that I haven't thought too much about in many years. This made everything come rushing back. I loved it.

What makes this really sad, is that the Lone Wanderer can never go home. Amata made it clear they weren't wanted there, and that they would be shot on sight should they be seen there. The Wasteland is their home now. It has been for a while now. The only thing they can really do is wander the Wasteland, their journey never ending. But, every once and awhile, this song will come up on the Pip Boy's radio, and they'll hum along to it, remembering a simpler time way back home.
I just found this again after working on it a whole almost TWO years ago and... man this was fun ;w; I rly hope I get to take part in something like this again for New Vegas' 10 years!
It was an absolute treat getting to work on this- thank you so much for all the work you did organizing it! Every time I hear this song play over GNR, I stop whatever I’m doing to just listen to it, hehe.
I mean, there are a few bugs here and there, and everyone in Vault 101 can kiss my ass. But it's still the runner up for best Fallout game, topped only by New Vegas.
This was absolutely Stupendous to watch. I like how each lyric is pointed out in a panel. I also like how each lone wanderer OC has a unique personality. Why isn’t there more likes on this video? You guys must really love fallout because this PMV is proof of that. *The trees are the sappiest* Shows Harolds heart Great attention of detail to the lore and the overall theme of the wasteland. This video makes me miss the capital Wasteland to me it's kind of like my home away from home but I reach level 30 and I've done everything you know I don't know what to do.
