This is why I want a fallout coop game that isn't a massive lobby, because imagine 4 friends in the wasteland arguing over which faction to join and all being on opposing sides in the climax
Some of these are just absolutely phenomenal. Subtle details like The Vault Dweller from Fallout 1 seeing a statue of himself and as a ghoul was incredible.
I don’t think it’s the vault dweller I think it’s the green haired female companion we see him with before he attacks the master. Not sure about the scar though?
The scene with the SS looking at the flag.. that one hit kinda deep, as an American solider.. to see one last flashback to the time before the bombs, feeling the stress and sadness of being in war, then it flashes back to the present, the idea left a bitter taste, feeling sad because he’s stuck in war was nothing to the dread of post war. he couldn’t have known what his life would turn out to be.. because War.. War never changes.

Might as well share my Fallout OCs! Fallout 1 (Vault Dweller:) Erin Moses. Intelligent, charismatic, if a bit overly idealistic, Erin was raised by two high ranking members of the Vault, before they both died of illness, being adopted by the Overseer soon after. Generally tried to be a good person, but had a bit of a mischevious edge, a la Odysseus from the Odyssey. Successfully defeated the Master, but was forced to venture into the wastes, exiled from her home. Met her future husband Pat, a tribal, while leading other Vault refugees. Consumed by guilt, Erin would wander into the wastes one day, never to return. Rumor has it, if you wander the wastes aroudn Shady Sands, you can see a lone figure in tattered blue colors. My only female player character! Fallout 2 (Chosen One:) Joseph Moses. Grandson of Erin, and an absolute menace. Good Karma, but a serial womanizer and scoundrel. Following the defeat of the Enclave at his hands, he was consumed by the same wanderlust as his grandmother, and one day walked East. Rumors of his fate are numerous. Some say made it all the way to the East Coast, others say he was killed by the early rumblings of the Legion. Fallout 3: (Lone Wanderer) David Fujiwara. Intelligent, ideallistic...and a total dork. Very much his father's son, Good Karma, saved as many people as he could. Following the events of the game, helped lead the Brotherhood, marrying Sarah Lyons, but later being exiled when Arthur Maxon took power. Led a small splinter faction of Brotherhood outcasts, later retaking control of the Brotherhood and reconnecting with the Western Brotherhood. Fallout New Vegas (Courier 6:) Jacob "Jake" Jimanez. The son of tribals fleeing the Legion, Jacob grew up to be a gunslining, smooth talking survivalist, later enlisting into the NCR to take the fight to the Legion in honor of his parents. Became a Courier after growing disillusioned with the NCR's imperialist policies. Good/Neutral Karma, found it hard to find something worth fighting for, but generally tried to help people when he could. Later found purpose in religion, becoming a respected missionary with the surviving New Canaanites, and reconnecting with the survivor's of his parent's tribe. Fallout 4 (Sole Survivor:) Patrick Murphy. The son of Irish immigrants, Patrick served in the US military, being a T-51 Power Armor trooper, and fighting in the Battle of Anchorage. Despite his distinguished service, Patrick grew more and more disillusioned with the United States and the war with China. After the bombs dropped, Patrick initially sided with the Brotherhood of Steel and Minutemen, seeing them both as the best hope to reestablish peace, but grew just as disillusioned with the Brotherhood as he was with Old America, eventually settling into his role as General of the Minutemen.

He is the protagonist of fallout 1 (see the scar in the statue and the ghoul?) when he fight against "the master"(...SPOILER IF YOU WANT TO PLAY FALLOUT 1...) to get to the master you have to endure a lot of extreme radiation, when the master is defeated (and after a lot of his companions died) the vault dweller returns to his vault as a hero but only to be quicked out by the overseer since it will be too dangerous if the kids or the young ones know you are alive, they would follow your example and probably die in the wasteland, and the statue is from shady sands, a village the vault dweller saves and they build it to honor him 80 years later, he dosn't turn into a ghoul at the end but it wouldn't have been impossible for him to end like that after so much radiation
If you want to use the song go right ahead! I don't own it haha. I edited the original song for the MAP and took out a minute of instrumentals though, in case you'd rather have the longer version. They haven't had me take it down for copyright yet at least.
