Hey brother, what FOX part numbers did you use? No one seems to have a matching set from FOX. FOX doesn't even show a matching set on their site. I know the front part # is FOX88324019, but for the rear all I can find is the adjustable version. Is that what you used on the rear?
Would the rear shock not hit the chassis under full compression? it may not but the gap in the chassis for the shock to fit in doesn't seem to be big enough for the fox upper/lower shock and res to pass through?
No mate, that’s the way there designed to go I measured the clearance and there plenty of room. I also double check with the supplier and they said yes they face backwards. The truck was at full droop as you seen it in the video, then the shock actually comes away from that point as compression is applied and it will travel into the chassis no worries they fit.

I currently have a 2016 Ram 2500 with some 20” fuel wheels on 295 Michelin defenders and man does it ride rough especially over bumps/uneven torn roads. I have the front at 55psi and rear at 50psi but man does it still ride rough/stiff/bumpy… not near as smooth as my 2018 Raptor rode. Looking for what might be my best upgrade? I never really haul or tow anything other than some bags of mulch and dirt for spring yard work so it’s pretty much a pavement princess with the occasional pallet of materials. I’m really wanting it to ride like a 1500 and not hop and skip over bumps and rattle like the dang tires are aired to 100psi. Any advice would be appreciated!
Note; For instance my Raptor would hug the bumps and uneven roads. Going over a railroad track at 40-45mph it’s like it glided over it, the rear tires stayed seated on the ground and on my Ram it freakin skips over the railroad truck and the bed and rear tires feel like they leave the ground. Granted my Raptor had 17” wheels and 35” BFG’s but my Ram has 20” fuel wheels and 295/60R20’s. I’m hoping these fox shocks will help the truck ride like a heavy cloud like the fox shocks on my 2018 Raptor. Should I do a sway bar or Carli? Should I do rear airbags? Thanks for the help!
Hi mate, Lower the pressure to 40psi all round see how you go. Failing that a 17” rim with 35” tyres at 38 psi will help a lot. But these 2500s need weight in the back to ride smooth, a shock up grade will also help.
How the hell did you get the top nut off those stems so easily? Mine are practically welded on. I had to cut the rear stems off and I'm too afraid to attempt the front.
Liked your video, I installed a carli...fox 2.0 levelling kit in my 2500 using carli front coils raising 2.5 inch with standard rear coils, but am quite disappointed with the ride as it is quite harsh on irregular bitumen etc, not sure if it is the special valving carli claim to use. We only use the 2500 on road towing our van with 250kg ball weight, did you find your set up rode smoother on smallish bumps? Would appreciate your your thoughts, regards Trevor

@@sponsurd Bro you’re running your tires way you high. No wonder if it’s a harsh ride. Any tire I’ve ever had I’ve run at no more than 38-40. That’s plenty. Lower your pressure.

Good video. As far as self tappers go i like how you marked and predrilled for accuracy, however i thinkyou will be surprised what a good tech self tapping screw will go through. 1/8" steel no problem for a good screw.
I have a 2008 Dodge 2500 f 4x4 Cummings with an 8" Lift on 38s..and The guy I bought it from must have been jumping it like the fu(king dukes a hazard or something.. i broke the shaft on the steering pump and when I was replacing it with a red head ultra duty pump ultra duty (which was a bitch due to the fact that they didn't inform me that getting a Pitman arm for 8" lift with the giant shaft size..was so hard to find. But anyways, I got to putting the pump on and got looking at the Front coil Spring buckets and the fuc*ing things are ripping off the frame... Needless to say I'm pretty fuc**ng pissed off ,especially as much as I payed for this gotdamn truck... It does have a new motor new tranny all built to shit with meth injected compound turbos, big injectors a Super programmer, Pedal Box I mean it's got everything ive never in my life seen a truck as fast as this son of a bitch... But anyway the buckets are tearing away from the frame on both sides mainly the passenger side... I had a 99 2500 in my backyard so I cut the buckets off of the frame and I'm going to have to Weld them in but they don't match up exactly exactly so it's going to be a bitch. I did see they sell some aftermarket ones but they look pretty cheese Dick.. So I think I'm gonna get a pipe Bender and bend some pipes to reinforce the buckets I'm welding on.. I really don't know what else to do about it.. I am a metal fabricator and I built picture cars and stunt cars for a living so I'm pretty sure I can pull it off. I'm just not really too sure about suspension stuff... The coils are so freaking huge on this track it's unbelievable. And it rides like shit... Bumpier than a willies Jeep... And I hate it because I'm used to my dully 4x4. I had bags on back like this truck has but pretty much the same front suspension . It had a lift but not this high... But that thing rode like a dream smooth like a Cadillac... I got looking at it and since my shocks are mounted to the side of the coil I think I'm going to use shorter coils and stack Bags on front.. I fabricated some pieces that will fit between the bag and the coil... Just wondering if that is a bad idea, having both coil and bags or if maybe I should just fabricate some bigger spacer mounts And shit can the Springs... I'm sure a part of the rough ride is the freaking buckets ripping off the frame but but either way it sucks the backbags ride smooth but the front end I can't deal with anymore... do you have any suggestions as far as what I'm trying to do? I did see a guy on UA-cam who made pretty much exactly what I'm doing other than using the Spring and the bags.. his turned out pretty cherry but he basically built something of spacer's that go under and over the bags.. Is this STOCK hight? It looks at least leveled right? Will these fit right up to stock hight 2012 ram 2500?
Completely stock springs no level kit. Just shock upgrade. Not sure on 2012 ram fitment might be different

No there would be no advantage to lift the front for towing. Massive improvement on and off-road, trucks a lot more compliant. 😎👍🏼

bummer you didnt get a remote RES shock for the rear you might have been able to mount the shock upright to avoid all that extra mass on the axle.
