I bought this truck with bags everything was fine until i had them on i was driving i hit a bump and since the tanks arent bolted down the tanks went uo and hit the ground and they automatically turned off when they hit and they don’t turn on anymore do i need to change the relay or what? Idk what to do someone pls help
Hey Finn from bag Riders what do you think is the problem for my truck it keeps blowing a fuze on the switch I installed that goes to my relay let me know your thoughts on why that happens I don't quite understand it to well yet but I want too ?
This is the one to use with a 3P, you would buy the whole thing, unclip it, and just use the 3P side www.bagriders.com/waterproof-40a-relay-with-plug.html
I’m trying to figure out what is wrong with my airlift 3p set up! My controller and compressor won’t turn on at all I replaced all possible fuses also and still nothing. Any idea what this could be?
Hey Bro!! I have the same issue. It was working fine and the next day my controller or compressors won’t turn on. Fuses replaced, checked wiring connect and nothing.
one of my wires for the compressor to the relay got chewed up by too much weight on it in the back. I bought a new correct relay , kinda confused how to fix it and wire it back to the relay
@@bagriders I have v2 management. I actually watched a video. I’ll just have to reconnect the wires toc the relay in the correct spots and then cut and crimp the messed up wire back to its original spot on the new relay. Thank you for the speedy reply though fellas !
I've got a 5pin relay for a vixen 3gallon air compressor kit. What would the 5th pin be for? And would I be able to bypass installing the relay entirely and just use the vehicle's existing fuse box for wiring and providing power to the compressor through the ignition. I'm not sure in exactly how. But my nephew will be doing the work to install and get it running. Do is that route a viable option?
Hey Bag Riders, im having a problem with my 444c compressor, it keeps blowing 30amp fuses every 1-2 days, I’ve replaced my check valve and even swapped out the compressor and its still doing it, my ground is great and theres noting wrong with my wire. could it possibly be my relay is on the way out and causing this to happen
Hey Callum! It could be your relay. I recommend you reaching out to our customer service team as they have many years of experience with this issue. You can reach them at 844-404-7344 or email sales@bagriders.com.

what will happen if you wire up air lift main harness differently? Like the ignition wire and the power wire together at the ignition and ground to ground??
Great question! If you wire the ignition wire and the power wire together at the ignition, your system will blow fuses. You really want to wire the power wire to the battery and the ignition wire to a source that turns on when your car turns on. If you need help finding that source we have another video on our channel to answer exactly that! If you wire the ignition wire with your power wire to the battery your system will always be on and will kill the battery. You can wire the grounds together but it's recommended to go straight to the battery with them as well.
I got a 2012 cls550. The cars stuck down. The compressor kicks on a couple seconds wen i start the car and sometimes wen i turn it off. But the car will not go up.
It could be a few things, but to diagnose we'll need more information about your system. Please shoot an email to sales@bagriders.com or give us a call 844-404-7344 and we'll help you get it straightened out!
loving these educaitonal videos; definitely helpful to those who are new to the air game

Is your switch interrupting the trigger of the relay (proper placement) or is it interrupting the load side of the circuit (improper placement) ?
Would one of the relays yall offer work for my airlift 3p harness connection?

Does the relay have to be grounded on the vehicle?
Either the chassis or to the battery.

Hey Brian! For any wiring help please reach out to our support team, by emailing tech@bagriders.com!
No needed for the 5pin witch is on 87a that you don’t need, 4 pin that’s all you need
Is a relay needed ? Or can you go without one ? My dual compressor 444c did not include these in my order
Yes you need a relay! If you are running a 3P System with dual compressors we offer a specific second compressor with a built in relay.

Could you explain a little more? If you are talking about the relays the come pre-installed on most wiring harnesses.
