  • The lateral extension helps to ground the legs and create space while moving sideways. It elongates and lengthens the trunk, sides, back, and frontal body. These postures stimulate the kidneys and open the heart region. Additionally, in these seated postures, we will incorporate a few parvritta (twisting actions) to stimulate and bring awareness to our posterior body.

      Excellent Emmanuelle, our body and mind take time. Sometimes one longer than the other. It’s through continuous practice over time, you can make and see transformation. 🙏🏻👌👏🏻❤️

    Hello Kathy. Great practice. Still tight but I'll revisit this video again. Was hard to keep the opposite hip down while bending sideways.
