She was just desperately looking for an escape in those first two videos. I am just horrified at some of the negative comments I read on the first part of this series - people have opinions on how to do this, and thats fine, do yours your way. But we're here to watch YOUR journey, and I respect your approach with these beautiful animals. Big respect from Seattle!! Thanks for sharing with us!

It feels great too. We are still taking things slow though. She hasn’t made the final leap yet.

WOW! Look how quickly you got that lead rope on her! Well done to that new fella (I dont know how to spell his name-because I'm an Aussie 😂) who did the extra work with her! Shes a different horse ❤. Altho she's still a little twitchy shes way more accepting of the desensitising youre doing. Its so important for horses to understand both rythmic and steady pressure. When they muck up its not because theyre being naughty its because they dont understood but when they do it give them so my skills to help themselves. As I the first video was hard for me to watch because of the level of fear this poor girl had but I luv it when I see them beginning to understand the process and learn to relax, be calm and find peace in learning ❤👏🐴

I feel the same way you do but it is very rewarding to see the breakthrough. Now that we can halter her, the process is way easier and she starts to enjoy things. Took her for a long outing into the desert and had a blast. Became good friends. Video will be up in a couple of days. Stay tuned and thanks for your comments.

I try to write with my english language, and it´s not easy for me. I know that you are a grown, adult man, so i bet you have a glue what kind we woman are. So, it you hurt my feelings, I need a time to think, what kind of man you are. I m little sensitive person. With horses I have noticed that there is a little same like human life. It´s clear that horse is animal with they very sensitive instincts. But there is clear different between gelding and mare. I have had my best results with a geldings, they are much more forgiving. I can go close and give a tender faster than mares. There I see a difference, If I caress the mare, I must go very slowly forward and listen, watch how they answer to my touch. I m not expert like you, even close. I have been with horses 40 years. Thank you and this beautiful horse for your lesson.😍

Thank you for using a second language to express yourself. It’s not so easy!!!! And thanks for your message. Heart warming.

Do you talk to them? Soothing words?

I talk to express what I am feeling in the inside for the viewers. Horses can’t understand my words, just my intentions and my actions.

You are right Kathryn! I talk a lot and sometimes say something towards the horse as I am trying to demonstrate what is going on with my thoughts, and with my feelings. Trying to give an insight into what goes through a trainers mind.

Has she ever had an injury to her bad side eye? My mare did and she wasn't crazy about me working her on her bad eye side either. But sge did trust me after time

She really had no real contact before. She was raised in a herd till we got her.
