The title is just Battlefield. Are they using Portal within the game? Multiple studios working on this. Is each studio working on remastering a certain edition alongside a new version? He does mention several titles. Just off the top of my head.
Important things to get right!: No futuristic shit gadgets. Grapling hooks, wall hacks, shields etc. Locked classes. A sniper is a sniper, a medic is a medic... Medium sized maps with veriaty and cover. SERVER BROWSER! Squad gameplay with meaningful squad leader tasks. Call ins like in BFV. Not like in 2042. Movement as in BFV. No plus system. Maps as in BF4. Destruction as in BFBC3 but even better. Big DLC with a couple of maps, viechles, weapons etc every season. Gritty setting with realism like in BF1. 64 players. No Portal. It was a good idea but it dont work. Its just full of shit settings to play. Let us start our own servers but with less options. Real single player story, no "war storys". I rather have them to focus on this only and no BR or other shit that takes resourses and time. Do this and its a banger.
I’m one of those ‘core’ players who has played since BF2. I would welcome a return to modern era bf3/bf4 remake. I didn’t buy 2042 til it was cheap and actually enjoyed the specialists. It would be better to have traditional classes but give them an extra realistic gadget/ability to choose from. Not wing suits or daft grappling hooks. Bf3 classes dialogue gave them a lot of character without being specialists.

Suprised bad company isn’t mentioned in their best period that was part of that top line up. Also how many times do they need to learn how to fix a game…bf4 wasn’t immune to this nor was any other game since
This fcking game blackops6 is going to be a monumental flop. The creator of Modern Warfare (Call of Duty 4) and Modern Warfare 2, the originals from 2007 and 2009-the fcking masterpieces that made Call of Duty’s reputation-that creator, the genius VINCE ZAMPELLA, is going to make the next Battlefield. It’s clearly the end of Call of Duty. Battlefield is going to become the new Call of Duty, and Activision is sweating-they know it’s the beginning of their downfall. They shouldn’t have taken us for fools and destroyed such a legendary game.
I’m excited! I’ve been wanting and waiting for a new battlefield. I’m done with apex legends atm. That’s the only game I can really play right now until the new battlefield drops.
my fear is that they did say no specialist but they haven't mentioned if they will have the classic class system(weapon locked and class gadget.) i don't want another BF game with supports with snipers or recons with lmg's.
Unlike activision, they only cocked up releasing 2042 (& bf5 if u aren't me) so this is their second chance to not fuck things up, let's see how it goes
Cross platform, with NO aim assist. Keep the realism and differenciate from the CoD style. Don't try to make the combat too fast, get more of a strategic approach to gamemodes, no silly DLC with 'Snoop Dogg' or 'The Boys' and youre on to a winner. One thing I would love to see, more than a 'Battle Royale' is a DMZ type game mode with the option to turn PVP off and play PVE only, kinda like Campaign with Co-Op+ if you know what I mean.
I think 128 wasn't a mistake, it's just that maps are garbage. Some of the maps play really well with 128. Battlefield doesn't need to be balanced and well-paced all the time, sometimes it needs crazy flex slaughterhouse that you will not find anywhere else

The little poofs of clothing/blood when you hit at enemy (no hitmarker vibration on console also made it more immersive tbh) to the way the enemies ragdoll is even more realistic than the latest entry i found.
Fuck even the voice acting. So many different shreiks and screams in bf4 i almost feel guilty sometimes killing enemies lmao
Its almost like sometimes ppl think ‘realistic’ means boring. Its rly about the devs knowing how to capture the realism and make it impactful. Doesnt have to be full force levoltuon, just where it makes sense.
I wish a group of og battlefield players could just be accommodated to stay with the devs and continuously keep testing it along to the way or something😂
Im rambling. Anyways just bring back the normal battlefield assault medic support sniper and make the movement and maps beautiful and boom.. you have yourself a hit. Easy? It seems like it should be lets just hope they deliver this time.
Hype train! Choo-choo-choo! Hop in guys!
I hope they don't do a complete 180 with the map sizes and they keep some large maps.
The title is just Battlefield. Are they using Portal within the game? Multiple studios working on this. Is each studio working on remastering a certain edition alongside a new version? He does mention several titles. Just off the top of my head.
Never pre order
we're so back
Important things to get right!:
No futuristic shit gadgets.
7:34 In my opinion I personally feel like Battlefield is COD’s ONLY true competitor
Can we also get rid of the Call of Duty style movement?
They better add a extraction mode
I’m one of those ‘core’ players who has played since BF2. I would welcome a return to modern era bf3/bf4 remake. I didn’t buy 2042 til it was cheap and actually enjoyed the specialists. It would be better to have traditional classes but give them an extra realistic gadget/ability to choose from. Not wing suits or daft grappling hooks. Bf3 classes dialogue gave them a lot of character without being specialists.
I wanted the battlefield game to be set in the Korean War that War hasn't gotten a chance yet
bigger squads and a strong commander plz
Battlefield 2142 doesn't get enough respect. Titan mode was tons of fun.
Killer destruction PLEASE!!!!!!!!! 😅❤😊

side note. the hitmarker animations are cheesy/immature. when you hit someone i dont want to see a bunch of imaginary lasers shoot out of the hitbox area to let me know i hit/killed them?... takes me right out of the realism and just feels so "video gamey" i dont know..i think they need to tone that way down.

Bring back BF2 with the optional expansion packs like Armoured Fury and Special Operations or remake the BF BC series
I at least want a mode with more than 32v32. Maybe 50v50?
Suprised bad company isn’t mentioned in their best period that was part of that top line up.
Also how many times do they need to learn how to fix a game…bf4 wasn’t immune to this nor was any other game since
We'll see if its Battlefield in NAME only. If i'm a betting man, my money would be on yes.
Cautiously hyped
I want to see a FINISHED game this time please EA.
If it’s like bad company 2 or battlefield 1 then it will be a sick game
I’m excited! I’ve been wanting and waiting for a new battlefield. I’m done with apex legends atm. That’s the only game I can really play right now until the new battlefield drops.
No specialists and modern setting. Automatically better than BF2042 hyped.
my fear is that they did say no specialist but they haven't mentioned if they will have the classic class system(weapon locked and class gadget.) i don't want another BF game with supports with snipers or recons with lmg's.
No specialists... alright you have my attention.
Good news any bf is a good thing for me
I pray for a nighttime tokyo map
Unlike activision, they only cocked up releasing 2042 (& bf5 if u aren't me) so this is their second chance to not fuck things up, let's see how it goes
Give me back firestorm!
Making a lot of promising noises but I won't believe it until the game releases.
I hope they bring back campaign !!!
2:05 I'm just disappointed you missed that helicopter. Unsubscribed, can't watch someone with such a skill issue :(
