I've been playing bf4 since 2018, still play on the remaining EU servers to this day despite owning bf2042. Every time I hop back onto 2042 to try give it another shot and when I play infi it just feels so heavy and weighted, like you have massive amounts of inertia completely unlike bf4 where you feel so light.
Good to see someone who brings up movement. BF4 perfected movement! It just did everything right! It feels snappy without being supersonic. Combine this with the perfect gameplay and boom, the legendary BF4 was born. May BF4 live forever❤
definitely one of the best videos you've put out in past months. Great content and unique really. I am sure a lot of people learned form this and maybe the devs will take notes.
Terrific work!!! I’ve never had dialogue to inner work of movement before. I’ve noticed “some” of these things but not to the extent you laid them out. I’m looking forward to more content. And to playing the new battlefield. Keep it up.
19:57 its called ice skating rip jordy i learned that from him helped me a lot while playing comp😢 There is one more trick avaible in bf5 i dont know what is called tho but if you timed your crawl button while being on the edge you could kinda gain momentum like a speed boost but it mainly works in a gun fight not like to get faster to the objective lol
Enders you know that 90% of battlefield community is all about PTFO (they always complain about players not PTFO in yer streams youtube comments or reddit posts ) and you shoud of pointed out more why movement is so important to properly PTFO if you a pro or even a noob in any fps games that includes objective type game play like capturing the flag or planting m-com aka the bomb and there is always people who defending objective by holding a defensive angle and players who trying to peek that angle to perform the kill on defending player in game like battlefield one where movement was removed i know if i try to peek same skilled player i will die 9 times out of 10 and woud rather play off objective and get alot more kills that way to atleast try and be effective that way never the less very nice and informative video thank you
The irony here is that Enders is "PTFO'ing" infinitely more than these complainers. They don't see kills as an objective. You're arguing about "competitive" modes in a casual shooter as well. There are no obligations for players to do anything.
Battlefield 4 also has ADS movement speed differences. Bullpup weapons like f2000 have higher ADS walking speed than non bullpup weapons. If you dont press WASD as you land from a jump, you will slide, and you wont get movement penalty from chaining jumps this way. Jumping this way also lets you keep momentum from high speed, such as from movement glitches. You can shoot while jumping, but only after reaching the peak of you jump. There are some new glitches too. Glitches like rouzou have a decent amount of depth to them.
I was to say the same about the ADS movement speed. As well as the slide after jumping. However he might not mentioned it because that would go pretty much into the zouzou and he didn't mentioned those glitches on purpose. Or he just didn't knew that because he havn't played BF4 for a very looong time.
1:32 - So true. There's a post on the Battlefield reddit right now with 700+ upvotes and he's just bot walking in the open with HUD disabled on BF1. ????
I think that for the next game they shouldnt try to do realisitc movement, with a lot of inertia, sway and else. In my opinion (i might be biased cause i like bf4 a lot) they should definitely add a learning cruve to movement, so that if you spend time playing you can have more fun moving better than others and thus having a more in depth gameplay, but it cant be overpowered either. Some air strafing is fine just so you get that little movement speed boost, and they should add a few mechanics like repeated crouching. Globally DICE should aim to make the gameplay fun in the first place before the rest.
In case of bfv, There must be a significant time delay between consequent slides. It feels very unnatural when people keep spamming it again and again. This ain't like cod to have a such a stupid thing.
I think a potential reason for movement being so lackluster in BF1 is just how bad the guns are. If you have an inaccurate weapon with a tiny magazine, it gets way harder to shoot a slide peeking target
Favorite movement and hit registration Definitelly Battlefield Hardline. And that comes from a dude with 12.700 hours in Bf4 and 9.950 hours in Bf3 and about 5k hours spread in all Bf after those two.
Im a BF4 movement D-rider but BFV arguably has one of the best overall balanced movement in the whole genre. That being said i would love to see a little more advanced version of it
Does anybody know where this conceptualization of you jumping more effectively after a slide? Were drugs involved in this? Slide itself is not the issue if it's just used for peeking and going to cover but when it's used for traversal itself then that's a complete red line. After the slide you should lose all momentum and it should take time for you to stand up rather than cancelling the animation like a crackhead. And jump shots should only be stabilized near the peak of the jump otherwise it should be as inaccurate as hipfire in ADS.
@@griffin1366 I understand your point. You and people like you, like Enders, you all want Apex Battlelegends Field. You want every single mechanic to be abuse-avalible.

It's not that it's exaggerated, it is absolutely inaccurate from my experience, and by that I mean I *NEVER* see people that have a positive KD play like this. Maybe it is because I mostly play operations and players are forced to move around more than in conquest.
Yeah the slide can be used very strategically in bf1. It's not like 5 or 2042 where it's no skill ice skating, you gotta use it on unaware dudes coming around a corner (that you also have to use situational awareness and skill to know are coming), making sure to use it at just the right distance to get in cover faster, dodge gunfire, and stuff like that. Plus the game just looks and feels more immersive when everyone has to hug cover for dear life instead of slithering around or bunny hopping everywhere lol.
Battlefield 5 movement if you talking just regular movement but battlefield 4 if your including slither , Vouzou and things like that I like both but the camera breaking on bf4 is unmatched with exploits especially with 2024 movement tech ❤️
BFV is amazing honestly. What I want from BF6 is taking V's movement, and making it a little bit snappier and faster. For example slide doesn't give you a speed boost in V not even slightly which is an issue imo. I wonder if we'll see freeform running from BO6 though, in BO6 you can run sideways and backwards as funny as it sounds, we will most likely see something similar to that.
mid - air shooting - NO. Maybe 1-3 accurate shorts depending on weapon (like cs go/2). bf5'ish sliding - HUGE NO. Otherwise leave it for apex legends kids. crouch spam - NO (or stamina based). jump spam - same as crouch.
