Just got my Obsidian Black EPro today and it's fantastic!!! Thank you B.S. for making my true EDC pack dream come true. So far the quality is top notch, the organization and pockets/compartments is superb and the feeling of using the top fidlock buckles is still so satisfying! The laptop compartment fits my 2022 16" Asus Gaming Laptop and most of all I'm really digging the velcro back panel that you've incorporated. I use my various 5.11 velcro pouches to attach extra 9mm mags and still have room for my everyday carry work items. Just a small, very small nitpick: please make the shoulder straps just a tad bit wider.. it digs a bit into my chest but it's not a deal breaker. I've had the original Errant pack and this is a great upgrade to that model. The 30L sizing is perfect for using it as a daily carry (not too small and not large enough that you look like you're carrying a hiking pack). I plan on getting the Divider Floor and the Adv Waist Belt when I travel this November to northern California for some hiking treks so I'll really be putting it through an adventure!
And I just got the original that I'm trying for a few days & then you come out with this one lol.. Now I have to decide before the weekend's over
You guys just hit the perfect spot all my wishlist from previous errant to change is in it ❣️❣️❣️
My friends will gonna be exited when i share this new errant pro to them 😍❤️🔥
Rad, we are stoked you are stoked!
Finally, a bag that isn't trying to be minimalist or faux heritage. I just bought this bag, not even sure I need another backpack at the moment, but I feel like you guys are one of the first companies making products that are futuristic and not welded to some early 2000s design philosophy. I'm going to throw my bold new foldable phone into this bag and live my all over the place maximalist life.
Congratulations Boundary Supply - Although this bag doesn't suit my needs I think it is a great bag and can see you have put a lot of thought into the design. Looking forward to some of the design cues in this bag trickling down to your Errant Backpack, especially the new latches as I am not a fan of the existing magnetic latch.
Thanks! We aren't sure these latches will make it to the Errant anytime soon but noted.
Such a great bag!! ❤ Still missing an expanding option though 😢
Love my Errant 1.0 X-Pac that I got last year, but this bag looks like it upgraded and meets even more needs! Any chance that there will be a black X-Pac version in the future?
Oof! Just when I'm shopping around to replace my Kickstarter Errant you released a Pro version. That quick zip separation is definitely a nice practical addition and also those upgraded magnetic clasps and more modular accessories. I can't really complain about my Errant tbh, but I might consider this in the future.
That's awesome, thanks for the consideration. We are glad to hear you are still digging the original Errant.
Really enjoy my Errant backpack from Kickstarter. Looking to add one more into my collection but 392 USD on top of 25% VAT in Denmark. That seals the deal for me 😢.
But really enjoy the quality and sturdiness of your products. All the small details. Mine is still going strong and fits my laptop, keyboard and mouse, headphones etc.
Might one day get the Pro if I happen to be in the US
We are sorry to hear that. I could be wrong but I believe that 392 includes the Denmark VAT's, these should all be included in our international pricing.
Looks cool but I expected something entirely different. 2 kg for 30L basically means it won't work well as a travel bag (always close or beyond the limit if you load it up) and be very heavy for EDC. What I really wanted was an Errant that fits personal item dimensions (around 17-18 X 12 X 8 in), lighter (as close to 1 kg as possible) and with a more flexible main compartment so it can be used for minimal / weekend travel. If you want customers outside the US or people that use your stuff for international travel, you need to shed weight. Even Aer is going for lighter stuff lately. I have the Errant sling and Portt kit and love both, please do not go the mall ninja way - less can be more.
I'm sure they will bring out Errant Lite at some point 😏
With these bags we sacrifice lighter weight for high quality and durable material
@@jarretec there’s a lot of bags with similar materials that weight less than that.
The Arris pack is our dedicated lightweight pack and is the lightest among our competitors. But maybe one day we can do an Errant Lite series. Sorry this was a miss for you.
So will this replace the prima bag? Seems like a hybrid mix of prima and errant. Also does the bottom straps compress the bag if you pull them like it does on the prima? To
Make it look slimmer if not carrying that much load
Somewhat unrelated, but that bike looks sick!
❤❤❤❤
Dear Boundary Supply. It’s okay 👌🏾. Please take my money 💸. Please!!! Please take it. 🙏
I love my Errant (with its minor blemishes) ❤. But it’s ready to find a new home. I know that we are not supposed to be materialistic and fall in love with products. I know we are supposed to be better than this, but I am ready for some new love energy.
Errant Pro - you are perfection in a bag. The promise finally delivered.
Hilarious Neo, We are stoked you are stoked! Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm, this comment made our day!
Looks amazing! Have been waiting for a new bag for years, esp something with X-pac.
But just hope it could have been much lighter than this.
Sadly there just isn't a ton of X-Pac on here, the internals of the pack have some bigger features and that outweighed the weight in our opinion. Thanks for the feedback though!
*To make this the clear #1 backpack:*
u can put a lock thru all zippers, get inbuilt security into the zippers like black ember
manage all the dangling straps
Stands up on its own, or at least mostly stands up doesn't need to be super rigid
_for now tho ill go with the peak design everyday backpack v2_
Awesome! Are you planning on doing a more detailed walkthrough video?
We don't have anything scheduled right away but we are certainly open to it. You can also see a live walk through here on Brandon's channel: ua-cam.com/video/gwE33DupqMM/v-deo.html
@@BoundarySupply I think it would be useful for customers to see how various accessories integrate with the bag. Honestly, having a few handy videos linked on your website would probably net you a few more sales. Examples: how to attach your camera inserts to the side door, how to attach the CB-1 to the top of the bag, or the EXM to the bottom compression straps, etc.
Especially since modularity is a huge part of your brand identity, showing off all the hard work and thought you put into how accessories are used seems like a good move!
@@constantgaw2422 We are 1000%! We'll get these up as soon as we can!
is there any possibility to buy it from a shop in Europe?
This is splendid. Been waiting for a new Boundary Supply backpack. Really adore my Arris backpack. I just have one question - compared to the Arris, does this hold its shape when empty? Arris can be quite flappy when empty and this looks like it has some internal structure - is that correct?
Great question Chase, this pack absolutely holds its shape 10x better than the Arris. It has a bit more structure to help.
Nice looking bag. Does the side access work with the MK-2 LT?
Great question, yes it does!
I want to replace my Prima with this. This design makes more sense. I barely use my Prima because the laptop compartment takes so much space from the main. Love my Errant, the Prima, not so much. Looking at the new Prvke to add to my bags since I also have the Fernweh, but this is pretty tempting.
We are glad you are digging the new pack. We don't want to influence you from one brand to another but the Errant Pro is definitely a great bag and is completely Bluesign Approved. Best of luck deciding!
awesome looking backpack!
When can we expect the accessories (i.e. divider wall) to be available for purchase? I cannot find them on your website
The divider wall seems to be miscategorized in the website. I found it in the Prima modular system section
@@constantgaw2422 Ohh good catch, we just updated this.
Thanks for taking my suggestions last year and combining both of your iconic bags. But why no Black X-pac?
We really tried, as of right now black X-Pac is out of stock for us to produce but once our supplier has it you better believe we’ll be making it. 🤘
Looking forward to that. In the meantime I settled with the Grey X-Pac. Can't wait to use it! I hope it's the one do-it-all bag I've been wishing for.
If I have the grey ordered, can I exchange it for a black when released? Don’t have another $300 to spend but would love a black out version similar to regular errant pro.
Niceee. Waiting to see some
YT reviewers’ thoughts on this update. Still heavily using my Kickstarter Boundary Prima. Might be time for an upgrade… 😅
OMG yes luggage support!
Please ensure international orders are delivered on time 🥺 the errant pack that I ordered last time was delay about 1 month
Hi, I actually wanted to ask if the is really a difference in the weight from the X-Pac to the normal one. In the website it states the same weight but it doesn't look logic for me
Hey! Yes we just updated this on our site, it is a very small difference however. Errant Pro X-PAC: 4.43lbs. Errant Pro Cordura: 4:65lbs.
This looks quite delicious I must say. It might be the perfect bag with the perfect size for so many occasions. Do you know what fees would come on top when shipping to Germany? Or will there be shipping from within the EU as well?
We ship to Germany with all taxes and duties included in our website price. Just visit our site and choose your country in the top right corner flag selector. 🙌
@@BoundarySupply Sounds good! Thx! Are your products vegan-friendly?
The Errant Thermal Insert is listed as compatible with this, where does it goes without the wet/dry compartment?
Hey Saedo, this would just store in the main compartment. Another option would be to store it inside the wet/dry compartment of the Premium Divider Wall.
Anyone know what bike that is in the video?
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 ;)
Nice, just placed order for the Xpac version
RAD! Thank you!
Two questions. Is the Fieldspace making a comeback with this bag? And will there be more colorways than olive, black and xpac grey? Any sort of tan color? 👀
Yes! Fieldspace 3.0 will be available mid-November. It will only be in Black however and will be compatible with all bags except the Prima System.
@@BoundarySupply Awesome! I meant my question as: Will there be more colours for the Errant Pro backpack itself other than black olive and xpac grey?
@@raestera Gotcha. For now this is all we have planned. Only these three colors.
Can I have one?
WANT!
Awesome! Good for everyday use or too big?
It checks our boxes. 30 Liters might be on the tall end but leaves lots of room for gear.
i am sold
purchased an Errant Pro with extras and can't get a reply on their site... ...EDIT: Customer service reached out within an hour of this comment, fixed an error that withheld my order from reaching their fulfillment department, personally walked my order through to ship out same day. Great job, looking forward to delivery!
Hey there, can you shoot me a personal email, mikey@boundarysupply.com. I was not able to find anything under the name zenlikeorbitz. Let's get this fixed!
@@BoundarySupply Thanks, great follow up!
It's weird that you guys don't have any still photos inisde of the main compartment or show any packing cubes/gear in it to gauge real world capacity. 🙃
Sorry about, we'll get some up asap!
i love this combo of the prima and the earrant ( at least thats what i see )
A total Prima/Errant love child.
@@BoundarySupply oh yah. I have prima backpack but the bottom is peeling. What should I do? I no longer have the receipt in my email
What moto helmet is that?
Scorpion EXO-AT960 🤘
Love it! Will buy the second you guys actually start caring about your customers that use your gear daily. When will you react to my service requests i’ve been sending lately.
Fair enough, we totally get that. We have been so backed up on our customer service emails due to a shipping delay last month. We just brought on two new employees and are hoping to catch up next week.
@@BoundarySupply apparently then new employs didn't help.... I can't get a reply or my bag after weeks of messages to customer support and other listed emails after dropping $300 on an Errant Pro
Anyone knows which bike that is?
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 😉
@@hellomynameismikey awesome thank you!
@@pipapoo of course. It’s actually my bike, I gotta say it’s amazingly fun and affordable. Definitely worth checking out!
Nice work! Looks far too big though. The errant was EDC, but this is 30 ltrs and looks like a travel backpack, as such I don't think it should hold the Errant name.
Our #1 complaint was that the Errant was too small so we wanted to give this enough size separation that they did not compete. Everyone carries differently.
That's why it's not the Pro. Gives you more. ;) Lots of products take on the same name with different variations. The website actually says it's 25L but expandable to 30L, which means as it's show, with the "roll top" section not expanded, it doesn't seem too big.
Thanks for your reply boundary supply team. Warming up to it :)
I've been using the Errant since 2019 and was about to buy a new one. It's just crazy how expensive you've become. I can't afford any of your backpacks anymore.
Sorry to hear that. Our prices have definitely increased as the original pricing was not sustainable. When the original owners sold the brand we had to make some hard choices to remain in the game. :(
Nice, I am more than happy with my original Errant. Some minor parts broke, but did I use the sh*t out of it. Still works, so I won't be considering this one yet.
Also, 1:03, what is this, parking like a PRO?
😂 We knew someone would call us out. We promise we only parked like this for the city view shot. Too good.
hmmm.looks like Prima + Errant
If they had a baby? 😉
@@BoundarySupply ta da!!!🤩
Still no HT Key Clips in stock though… 🙄
They are on their way, this time next month!
@@BoundarySupply That's what you said when you launched the last product 🤣
@@braegrimes8870 timelines change. 🤷
@@BoundarySupply yep - not very satisfying for the customers. Been waiting since I got my Rennan backpack in May...
@@braegrimes8870 Not satisfying for us either. Our apologies.
The update kind of ruins the look of the original errant. I'd like to see a similar Errant like gen1 but just bigger and smarter...
Keep an eye out on our social later this week, we actually quietly made some updates to the Errant as well, it's the same size but definitely upgraded.
Wow, it’s heavier than Prima bag.
and Prima is very heavy
2 kgs for the bag alone! Heavier than my MBP, if you add a laptop and some camera equipment there's no way you can stay under 10 kg. Ground travel only!
I like you product but
When your support team is available I sent 2 emails to you half month ago and bot from Zendesk send me a case number
Our apologies, we got very behind last month due to a logistic error. We actually just hired some new CS team members to help get us caught back up. Look for a response soon!
@@BoundarySupply
hope, this situation will fix soon.
