this was one of the best ep you have made, got a lot done, sample explanation of what you were doing and a nice looking gas storage 😅 looking forward to see the next episode ❤️
Wow what a contrast from the rime colony live streams!!! Must be really pleasant to spend time working with a colony and not fighting constant fires!! :)
Good morning ECHO.....Echo.....echo..... Super cool (or should I say hot) sauna setup you have. The coolant tanks on the side seem like a great idea and I love the efficiency and automation it brings to the colony. Amazing video as always, love the series! 😁
I was noticing in my playthrough that bridges transfer way more heat than you might assume between your hot (sauna) and cold (cooler) areas if part of the bridge is in the hot area and part is on the insulation tiles. You can eventually notice the difference once temperatures have stabilized by looking at the aquatuner uptime with and without a bridge on those tiles. Having hot things on rails on your insulation tiles probably has the same effect. I think it's the same concept as temperature shift plates touching your insulation tiles. Definitely caught me by surprise.
Might try aluminum metal tiles instead of polluted water for your cooling rails to go through. 205 thermal conductivity vs polluted water's 0.58. Also you get better heat conductivity by running through solid blocks vs gas or liquid.
@@TheSimpleGamer42 genetic ooze is another thing that doesn't change temperature very fast. So food; I have a fairly large aluminum block to precool my peppernuts.
You don't really need to loop the cooling material rails. while fighting and eventually giving up trying to fix the loop constantly locking up for no reason (90% sure is was a bug 2 versions back), I found just stopping the rail, until the material over the sensor is cool enough to proceed, is way less troublesome. I just had to tweak the coolant line so that the coldest liquid would enter where the rail exits and follow the rail in the opposite direction. The tweak was needed because if going the same direction the coolant may not be cold enough to cool that halted material having warmed up in the tank. Edit: 10:45 Hmm Looks like you might be Echoing the same issue I had :). Keep an eye on it, especially when you reload the game
Just thought i'd mention......i got a molten slickster egg round about the start of this episode in my game. Needless to say, i made a special place for it very quicky ;o)
Given the you have infinite supply of refined metals, maybe put all power production into power plant rooms? May not be feasible with petroleum generators, but should be doable with steam turbines.
update: I actually found your channel by looking up debris cooler designs on youtube. I then binged a bunch of your series, always very nice, love your stuff. Now, I started bingeing this one and I'd forgotten about this comment. Now that I've watched the episode in its entirety, I can probably build that cooler no problem. Thanks for everything!
Hm.... Something is not right with the twitch member list in the credits... Can't really put a finger on it, feels like there are too many names in there... Are you sure you don't have bots in there? For example, this echoridgegaming guy looks sus to me...
Phrases you never expect to hear in life:
“I was wrong.” “You were right.” And “we actually ran out of igneous rock…”. 😳😂
Comment of the Week. Solid gold.
Love the debris cooler 4000. Simple yet elegant. Definitively stealing it. 😉
Yessss another episode always in time

Ha, just got that way, but yes. Breathe of fresh air!

Thank you... you... you... :)

I think you are correct. I will see what I can do to fix.
Always cool to see a debris cooler when I've never done one myself (besides the chaos crew playthrough, but its not functional yet)

I want to try this. I think polluted waters mass makes a difference too though. 100kg tile vs 1000kg liquid.
I’ve done the same with aluminum tiles and it cools down pretty hot material in 3-5 blocks. Just doesn’t cool plastic that fast.

Amazing series, I will copy many ideas into my game, thanks to :D
What great designs you create. Far above my level of ONI but one day.... 😋👍
Keep at it! Thank you.

Will keep an eye on it, thanks for the tip.
shand! I laughed way to hard at that🤣

Nice job

oh, nevermind, lol, i noticed you got one also.
Just thought i was special there for a moment

Would def help with the tune ups.
So you came to the dark side of using the exploits :D. Good very good *evil laugh
Yes Master Luma... yes... all going acording to plan...
lol
Did you hear about that French cheese factory that exploded?
……There was nothing left but “debris”
lol
Hahahaha, so many activities
your twitch link in the description is the wrong link, btw
Thank you! Fixed.
The twitch link in the description seems to be wrong
Yes it was, thank you!
Hello! do you have a tutorial for the/a debris cooler?

Two Debris cooler 4000s = Debris cooler 4000 + Debris cooler 4000 = 2(Debris) 2(cooler) 2(4000) = Debris cooler 4000 × 2= Debris cooler 8000!
Two Debris cooler 4000s = Debris cooler 8000!
I got bored.
I love it.
I don't know what's going on, but I'm having fun
That is what matters most. I hope you keep enjoying the content!
Shand 🤣

I was really hoping no one saw that ha. Apparently the streamer is listed as a sub and so when I copied and pasted... either way it has been fixed ha.
loin it
