Being BPA or BPS free is not enough. Studies have shown that the chemicals companies replace those with can be just as harmful, if not more harmful. It’s better to avoid plastic all together.

Bisphenol A isn't the only one...there is B, C, D, E etc... that is currently being used in plastics in lieu of Bisphenol A. Plastics should not be used to store foods and liquids period!

It's not just BPA. "BPA free" means nothing, because they have most likely just replaced it with BP-S or BP-fs, which are equally or more estrogenic.

i saw a bar soap at Big Lots that had BPA in it So it's not just plastic bottles.

To eliminate estrogen take DIM 200-250 mg daily. To inhibit the production of androgens take Stinging Nettle Root. And to limit the amount of Aromatase produced take Reduced Glutathione. See, Dr. Berg, I have been paying attention to all your other videos and made notes! :) And I'm taking all 3, never felt better or leaner.

There was such a big push to remove BPA from food products a few years ago. I've often wondered about what they replaced it with and if this new product has any issues. Particularly the BPA-free lining in canned foods (beans, tomatoes, etc.).
Doctor, i think my son might've been exposed to bpa as a baby. I remember that i might've over boiled his baby bottles without realizing it was harmful. I feel so worried now.

Yes, they have a plastic lining on the inside. And the cans are pasteurized (heat treated for bacteria) after closing, so everything is cooked inside at high temperature with the plastic leaching into the food
I got rid of my microwave years ago. All I used it for was popcorn. 😜 Now I'm done with plastic water bottles. Thanks doc! Always learning here. 😘
The lining in microwaveable popcorn bags is what's bad for you, not microwaving food itself. At least there's no definitive proof of that.
I just stopped using my microwave 6 months ago when I realized the food nutrition was getting zapped from the waves rendering it pretty useless to eat.

It seems to me that since the introduction of plasticizers we have seen a great increase in infertility, ambiguous sex development in children, hormone related cancers (reproductive organ cancers like breast and prostate, and thyroid cancer) and other chronic illnesses connected to the endocrine system.
Our foods are packaged, stored and often cooked in plastic, and served in plastic, our utensils are often plastic, our drinks are stored and served in plastic, our clothes and bedding are made of plastic. The receipt is coated in hormone disrupters. So if plasticizers affect our hormones, then this exposure has become almost ubiquitous in modern life.
My local store has just switched to digital receipts. This saves the cashiers from over exposure to hormone disrupters on the job.
And some stores are trying out naked food displays, which I think can be much more attractive, and creates less toxic garbage.
Dr. Berg quick question: can we donate blood while fasting? and what is the best thing we should eat and drink after we donate blood? if you can answer in a video it'll be fantastic. love ur videos and ur sense of humor.

Drives me nuts, all the unnecessary plastic packaging that everything comes in nowadays. I get all my fruit & veg straight into my own shopping bags from the market, & usually meat & fish too, but a lot off people don't have a market. The black plastics the worse, or so I've been told, it's much harder to recycle or something. The shops will still insist on using it for meat & fish though. Like I said, drives me nuts. Lol.
If you get the right type off baggies, maybe silicone, you should be able to freeze breast milk.

My favorite water is Crystal Geiser(I have read their water reports and they are truly transparent even about the Flouride which is thankfully on the lower side.). They use PEET plastic for their bottles. I am always worried about any kind of plastic, but it is a bummer because I just cannot bring myself to home filter. I don’t think home machines have the gumption to really remove what needs to be removed. I have read studies on Britta even and there is more bacteria in those pitchers than not. Thoughts on the ability to really filter out what needs to be with home sources Dr. Berg?

If you poured bottled water into a glass pitcher and let it sit for few days, does the BPA dissapte over time or is it permanently tainted.

I recently began drinking distilled water (with added trace minerals) from PET bottles exclusively for some weeks, because I was so stressed about our tap water being problematic. I had a huge influx of estrogenic symptoms, including severe moodiness to the point of uncontainable rage or tears at the drop of a hat, rapid body fat gain and water retention in the same areas as when I was estrogen dominant (under my chin, belly, thighs, hips, backs of upper arms, ankles), constant feelings of dread and anxiety (just an inability to feel at peace), my skin began breaking out and becoming very sensitive again, a cascade of symptoms that made me feel like I was pregnant and a decline in sleep (both quality of sleep and being able to fall asleep). My poor husband even mentioned repeatedly that something was going wrong with my hormones, I was a wreck and honestly terrifying to be around because of how unstable my moods were.
I began looking into the safety of PET plastics, and discovered that research is actually showing that these plastics very likely have the same kind of estrogenic (and otherwise hormone disrupting) effects as BPA! More research is needed, but early signs are not good. And I'd believe it, because my experience scared the living daylights out of me. I became a different person drinking that water over the course of those few weeks.
Just know that if you choose to drink or eat from plastic bottles/containers, you are making yourself and your health into an experiment for the plastic industry.
Only 2 days after swapping back to tap water from a stainless steel bottle, I feel calm like I haven't in weeks. My fluid retention is going down, I feel so much more myself and the redness and sensitivity of my skin is going away. My sleep is also returning to how it was prior to the water experiment. Please be careful!
Doc, my excelent doc, Dr. Lair Ribeiro, says ANY plastic can mimic estrogen, not only BPAs.

I buy organic apple juice in gallon glass jars at a large store (Woodman's) and save the jars. I have 32 jars now. I make my own distilled water with 2 distillers, and store it in these glass jars. I like to set one out in the sun for a few hours, up to 12 hours, before using the water.
I wish everything we see in groceries wasn't encased in plastic.

Bisphenol A is bad, but Teflon is even worse, so why when mentioning substitutes for plastic: Glass, Porcelain, Stainless steel there was a Teflon Pan (0:55) shown as an example? Is that a product placement? That part makes no sense.

Yeah it's bit difficult if your parent prepare food ,u might get scolded for not eating wat your mother cooked...best thing is prepare your ingredients ...and also if u can do some kimchi always stored in your fridge...it's all a struggle thou..

I drink only bottled water, but there sure is a taste difference in many of them. The worst thing about BPA is never re-use any plastic bottles, especially the ones water comes in.
