BMW E28: Dashboard Removal

I didn't wake up wanting to remove the whole dashboard... but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm not sure if this will fix the issue I had, but I'm hoping it will all be fine once it's back together.
With the dashboard out, I might as well fix the cracks?...

The headlight switch being loose is caused by the frame being cracked, not the kick panel being loose on the right of the steering column. They're prone to cracking. There was a member on mye28 selling metal replacements.

Thanks for the tip! I noticed it was cracked, hopefully I can find a solid replacement

Make sure you have the right amp fuses for that headlight switch. Something tells me someone put a larger amp one in place at some point.

I got my feet jammed between the pedals and the lower apron on mine. Someone cut a left turn next to me at a traffic light from the middle lane, then cut me off. I had to slam the brakes. My foot got caught between the lower apron and the brake pedal and I couldn’t remove my foot from the brake pedal. Since it was falling off, I ripped it the rest of the way off and tossed it in the trunk where it’s been now for years.

And now i got the problem to reinstall all the hoses and the dashboard .....but i really don t know where to start.....getting it all out was 1 thing....now i need to put it all back ....if anyone could help me finding some information would be verry welcome....
