This might sound odd, but I appreciate how many women are active and making big discoveries in the minecraft community like this. I absolutely adore "speedrun explained" type videos and seeing all the people that made it possible, and it's so refreshing and inspiring to see women helping to build that story (especially when "seriously playing games" is often seen as a thing for men only).

everytime i see a jon bois inspired youtube video i am reminded that there are still things good and pure in this world. no other style of content and storytelling holds a candle to the experience of watching a google earth (or minecraft, cool touch btw) animation coupled with a narrator who truly loves and cares for the subject matter telling a beautifully poetic story about a small part of history.
watching everyone's hours of grinding coming together over time to result in some amazing runs was incredible, you don't see all the hard work behind it when watching the individual world record runs. i liked how at the end you emphasized how everyone played a part in these achievements, and how much of a community effort it was to break that last minute barrier. thank you so much for the video, it was really enjoyable
