This video was made with the help of 9,064 individual maps to display graphics in the actual Minecraft world shown in the video. Want to add to that number? Share a graphic you'd like added to the gallery at my discord -> discord.gg/tEhMMhyKXa and it has a chance to be featured upon the map's official release.
Special thanks to Caleb Micklus for producing five unique songs for this video. You can check out the full album here: ua-cam.com/video/i0udcGgnbPY/v-deo.html

I love how much this video shows that speedruning is a group effort ^^ Not only the record holder, but all the people finding tech, shortcuts, glitches or tiny optimisations take part in it and deserve the glory

everytime i see a jon bois inspired youtube video i am reminded that there are still things good and pure in this world. no other style of content and storytelling holds a candle to the experience of watching a google earth (or minecraft, cool touch btw) animation coupled with a narrator who truly loves and cares for the subject matter telling a beautifully poetic story about a small part of history.

watching everyone's hours of grinding coming together over time to result in some amazing runs was incredible, you don't see all the hard work behind it when watching the individual world record runs. i liked how at the end you emphasized how everyone played a part in these achievements, and how much of a community effort it was to break that last minute barrier. thank you so much for the video, it was really enjoyable
