    If you are going down the path of stage 2 power or beyond with your BMW, you are going to find your fueling system cannot keep up. This is especially true in changing to big turbos and/or running E85.
    One of the best ways to dramatically solve that situation is port injection from Precision Raceworks, combined with the sophisticated Motiv ReFlex+ controller!

    Question for you sir, how did you hook up your controller switch to power on or off your PI?
    For example you want to run 91gas instead of e85 you would need to turn off your controller so the PI doesn't put all that 91 fuel in your cylinders. Do you have an easy way to turn it off and on?

      So there is the simple solution or elegant solution. For now, I went simple.. I pulled the fuse on the motiv controller. That is fine as long as I am running my map 1, which is all direct injection. That said, map1 is full flex fuel so I can run from pump to full E85 on map 1 easily. My map 2 is the PI map, tuned for high E85 content, and fondly called my "send it" map if I a really going for full power.
      The elegant solution would be to add a power switch into the power run for the Motiv, and have that be more easily accessible.

      Great question: I haven't used the others so can't do a 1v1 comparison. I chose Motiv from their feature list, plus direct recommendation from two highly experienced sources. I am very happy with the results!

    I want to do this to my bmw f80 how’s it been since these two mods, and when you tune your injectors did you need ISTA+ or did you use bootmod3

      The tune was updated through BM3, with just a simple drop down value. These fueling changes set me up ultimately for 745whp, stable, reliable and perfect even for a daily.

      So you did no other changes to run the m5 injectors other than changing your bootmod menu and installing to be clear ?

    Hi I got a f80 m3 do I have to upgrade my fuel system if I was to go hybrid turbos

      You do not HAVE to do so, but in general its a very good idea. The logs from your dyno runs for dialing in your tune will tell the tale, plus your tuner will give good info here too. For me with the new AMAZING Mosselman turbos, it was very very clear that fueling was holding back the build. It just made sense to improve that across the board and I went all in. LPFP, PI, EU5 injectors and more.

      @@BMWDIYGuy fair enough I most likely will do eu5 injectors and lpfp with hpfp down the track I'm currently running e85 just want abit more power out of it... I'll probably see what the stock fuel system can handle with the hybrid turbos and go from there

      @@mushy1983123 That is what I did.. new turbos then saw results, then built higher from there. I am currently at the (relatively) safe limits for the build with stock internals, plus RWHP is silly enough now as is. The precision raceworks LPFP is an easy drop in install (see the video) along with new fuel line from the HPFP/PI and LPFP. My build was cratering at high RPM and full E85.. not anymore. 8)

    What exactly does port injection inject? Not to sound stupid I just don’t have the money to blow on constantly blowing money on Methanol if thats what it is…
    Does it inject more Fuel or…. The nearest Gas station with E85 is a state over from me… 50 ish miles…

      So PI will inject whatever fuel you are running, from pump up through E85. The PI are essentially secondary injectors and add fuel. Methanol goes into your turbo charge pipes and causes the air to cool. Two entirely different systems.
