I feel that I need to address an issue. Women empowerment is not only about women participating in the work force. It is about encouraging women to follow their passion and removing all the bureaucratic obstacles that might come in their way.
So nice to see people in India finding reasons to come together instead of reasons to be apart. Truly my ancestors were mistaken when they left India over 400 years ago. The unity this man shows is amazing. 👌
michele South n west parts of india there people are also very open minded , but nowadays people of north especially in big cities are also very open n friendly .n indian women piolets comes number 3 in world in airforce ,our president is women , we have our women's cricket team , women are there in army ,navy n airforce too ,in our parliament there are too many women politicians , in lot of major IT industry women are there if you look in new delhi , banglore, mumbai n many other IT cities , u see women less in punjab , Amritsar bcoz the population of men over there are more as compared to women , even now the women from small town work in grass root level, she loves her state sikkim that's good ,but i felt she is Little biased , the state of kerala in South India has literacy rate of 92%, all people speak english n women who are house wives they work too , n english here is compulsory language in all private n govt schools of india , even if some can't speak fluently but they can read n understand at official level , n u should read about indian history about women empowerment like jhasi ki rani , Sarojini Naidu , the great mathematician Shakuntla devi ,which dates back from centuries , even the indian origin women are working in top official positions in US , universities ,NASA etc , yeah though how much modern we become but we never go away from our tradition n roots .
Hi Michele, this girl is very charming and very intelligent, she answered your questions very wisely and it was interesting to listen to what she had to say and she said it all with decent opinions. Thank you so much for sharing this video I enjoyed watching. Be safe my friend.🙏🙏🙏💞💞💞
I never heard of Sikkim until you landed here. Definitely a very interesting place, and the food looks edible, unlike Corazón de vaca! I enjoyed your interview and found it interesting and educational. Great job! 🏆👏❤️👍😁
I am just in time to catch this interesting interview. Few years ago I met a Himalayan student with same personality - intelligent and filled with aspirations. She was a long way from home and I was lucky to meet her as I had only read about that historical mountainous country of adventures. 👍❤️
Really such honest individual there been interviewed,Sikkim is really interesting region and even different from other parts of India at least have felt from this interview
Watched your videos and the questions are problematic and stereotypical. You haven't visited even 0.00001 % of India and still you are asking such questions if Sikkim people feel Indian? Man, do you know how many of them serve in the Army? India is a civilization and everyone living in this land is an Indian. Delhi is bigger than some countries population wise. There are 10000+ different type of people living in Delhi. You can't make an opinion after meeting just a single person. Our President is Tribal Woman and from Odisha. You might not even have heard about Odisha. STOP STEREOTYPES
Rahul, go visit Sikkim or Kashmir, and ask them if they truly feel Indians. They might lie to you, but at some point you’ll find out the truth. And when Sikkimis people go to Delhi, everyone treats like foreigners and calls them Chinese. It’s hard to feel Indian when you look so different from the average Indians, and Indians themselves don’t see you as such.
@@MichelePonte Man, you don't live in India but I do. I have travelled almost all corners of India. The discrimination in India is because of western perception of how Indians look like. Italy discriminates with Black people. So they aren't black despite being living in Italy since birth? Common get some education and learn from other Travellers and have some grace.
@@MichelePonte stop speaking as if India consists of a single person. It's 1.5 billion people and it will take years to understand India. Are u so stupid? I am from North East India too. But don't use those abusive word like cow dung for any girls of india. Not all Mainland indian girl is closed minded and not all we Northeast indian girls is open-minded. There is many open-minded girls in mainland. Even mainland girls is the one who date and married to foreigners more than us northeast indian. Mainland Indian girls and our North-east girl is all indian.

Nepalis are not original people of Sikkim, Original people of Sikkim speak Sikkimish language and are Buddhist, Nepali migrants are hindu.

Some things get lost in translation 😅
