I just realized tonight that it's probably my biggest problem. I tried to do something trully unique and put a lot of pressure towards that goal. It didn't work out and I had to stop. I've never realised how much pressure became a lifestyle for me. Not enjoying life on purpose for the greater good of this goal. I recognize myself in a lot of what you said, thank you for your video.

Recognizing that is a huge step! Pressure can absolutely become a lifestyle and make it harder to actually enjoy life, but it doesn't have to be that way. I'm glad you found this helpful!

This video is accurate, but I feel worse that I didn’t find it helpful. I already know that I am the source of the pressure I put on myself and I recognize when it’s happening. Identifying and reflecting on the source is sort of an “okay, and?” for me. It doesn’t lead to turning that pressure valve off bc the tasks still have to get done..

100% I'm well aware of the sources, both internal and external demands compounds the distress, even when making choices about priorities, what gets my time and attention, it gets messed up when defending my needs to others, drains me.

I love how you debunk the reality of the power of our thoughts :) It's one of the most important reminders when it comes to my perfectionism & pressure to keep myself productive.

Thanks so much, Angelica! I'm glad that reminder is helpful for you, those thoughts can feel so true and powerful in the moment, but when you take a step back to really look at them it can help to put things in perspective.

Amazing video!!!🥺 And well explained. I did the three steps and I found the sources of the pressure I put on myself everyday. When you understand you can really change something in your behaviour. Thank you so much♥️

People that don't understand the way you label kids shapes them, permanently effects them, are failures at being human.
