Ok but as somebody whose playing this game pretty often at the moment, seeing somebody this happy to play and do a video on this game makes me so happy
The inventory system here is so great, this is what I've been looking for crafting games and I didn't expect that this is possible. I don't care of how many crates will you make as soon as you could open all of em even you're not beside em and plus you could sort em out in one go which is what I wanted for a long time. I've been hearing about this game but never tried it cuz I didn't know that it is this good. My crafting OCD nightmare will be cured atlast.
Dragon Quest Builders has a similar system with being able to use items from any inventory for crafting, but unfortunately if you want to sort those inventories you still have to physically go to them. The sequel's solution to this was to make your own inventory so big that you almost never need to store items away XD
being Mexican I kept on hearing my time with tortillas I could just be hungry, but I am glad you are enjoying the game thanks for the video.

In this kind of games, the more time passes, the more it's worth to play because of the new stuffs they're going to add.
I started playing the game a few months ago and yes the game is a timesink. I started a second play through, because I wanted to romance a different character. I was so surprised how different the storyline changed. I, also, didn't realize that most of the npc dialogue changed after each quest. When I went into the collapsed wasteland hazardous ruins most every villager had something new to say to me. I love that.
yes ! Waiting for My time at Sandrock myself. This weekend mini game, spot the differences or inspection, play it a lot. Its pretty easy and a good way to get some supplies instead of digging in the mine.

I love Portia, it can literally be a giant timesink….in a good way. But I’ve been waiting for Sandrock, had played the preview demo they released close to a year ago and it was fire but….geez the full game taking a min lol (apparently Pathea is waiting for the Certification to release the game on Steam. Been a thing for almost 5 months)
I circled back to watch FG's review of this game since I'm waiting for it to go on sale on Steam. And then I read your comment and looked up My Time in Sandrock 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Yeah, it says it's releasing on Steam May 26th and this is going to be a day one purchase for me. It's like Portia only more refined? Thanks for the tip! 😁

@@Zack-fu4lo Early access doesn't start until May. And I don't mind bugs, the game already looks as good if not better than Portia. Even the character customization has been drastically improved.

Bought on steam when it was on sale for about a week ago..have already 111 hrs in it and my days are already fcked up..great game 10/10
14:50 Higgins camp outside there so that he can get a good commission quest (or probably just so you couldn't get one).
A really helpful item to aim for is to get the drill, helps with mining so much faster. I can't remember why I didn't complete the game though, I think it got too tedious at some point gathering items (despite there are some automation later in the game). Still a fun game to try though.
While Higgins is waiting there, I always go to his place and steal his bars of ore.
I always run in front of him, to choose one commissions faster then run towards his house to get his bar 😂
I always thought this was a kid's game but since the recent huge improvements to PSN's subscription catalogue and the combining of PS Plus and PS Now (fucking FINALLY,) I've been just giving everything a serious look, and this game caught my eye. I'm really glad you have a video on this game because your opinion holds weight in these genres and if you say this game is that good then I take your word for it and I'll definitely be giving it a shot.

Im a big fan of this game im playing it on android. I cant wait to save money and buy a nintendo switch then play this game, while waiting for my time at sandrock. I hope you can review it when they release in switch
As someone who bought both in early beta I would suggest buying the first one and playing it and if you like it keep going and wait for more content for sand rock to come out. For me the game doesn’t have replay value so there’s that as a negative

Just bought the game a few days ago for 75% on PlayStation.
Tip: Remember to break all the crates in the dungeon for money and sometimes items! Nice extra bonus in addition to treasure chests and boss drops.

What was the difference between the wooden basket?
I played this when it first came out for ps4 cause i wasn't a stardew valley alternative. Its a really interesting game, just have to get past the art choice. Also when the game first launched they didnt have voice acting cause there were some payment issues but months later they added a patch that added voices
That art choice is what is killing it for me. Feels like Fisher Price :(

Sold my disc copy and bought a digital, because I'm too lazy to switch disc. Haha

Ssd loading times also helps make it more enjoyable.

BTW, "Portia" is pronounced like "POR-shah," like the car. I never would've guessed thats how it's pronounced but that's how characters in the game pronounce it.

I play it on Switch and for the life of me, I can't get the main crafting station to work. Which severely limits my gameplay but now I'm treating it more like a challenge ahaha.
I play on the Switch too. If you run into problems that you just can't solve there is a My time at Portia reddit. It's super helpful. The one thing I don't like about the Switch is that some of the minigames either don't work or the controls on the switch are too finicky. Don't even try to take a date into the Haunted Cave there is a glitch that kicks you right out.

inventory is so good in this game, the item management is so good in this game... then you show how half of your house has to be dedicated to chests because it is NOT good.
Bought on Switch. Finished everything, including some of the new stuff! Married, had a kid, and maxed out my house! Best part was the duplication glitch but I *think* that’s been patched out 😅
Does it run any better on the switch these days, any performance updates or is it still worth avoiding?

I play it on the switch and I enjoy it. There are still glitches, but the biggest game freeze can be avoided. Don't leave the game open for too long if you are going to walk away for very long. More than an hour. Close it and save it. Once I started doing that over a month ago I haven't had a freeze happen again. One of the minigames doesn't work, but I heard that the devs just never went back to fix it because they had already started working on Sandrock

The smoothness of that “Hey, girl, where’re you going?” made me chuckle. In fact, that whole sequence did.

This game is going to be my first favorite farming game I played stardew valley gave it couple tries off and on again then i lost interest ..tried harvest moon the gamecube one was so tiring and felt like workout not a chill game.. this however the moment i played it which is yesterday ..apart from the drop rates or the game getting stuck like feeling (mostly in menu or when I designed my character) im playing in ps4* it has everything i want the plot twist to me is when i saw that i can fight and there are bosses lol but so far im glad its not hard and that I found something to go to when I need to relax from uni stuff.

Does anyone know if the auto sort system sorta all items from a single inventory page or all items from all pages in your inventory? I haven't used it because i'm afraid it would take all of my items from all of my inventory pages and store them which i don't want that happening
I don't mess with auto sort sorry, took me a long time to learn the controls so I try not to press any buttons Idk what they do.
You can start another game to test it then delete it.
It sorts everything from your inventory to the storage IF there is a like item in storage if there is no like item it stays in your inventory

I downloaded this game recently on my Oled and I love it, and spent HOURS playing..I just hate the glitches but that's all I have to deal with, did anyone else deal with glitches or just me 🤔?
I don't have big glitches but sometimes my control just kinda stuck, but probably just because of my bad laptop. Still, it is addicting for real.
@@natalizthanh7019 it's very addicting, my glitches is the games skips or freezes but it's brief. I play on switch so that's probably why it glitches.
I play on ps4 and i experience regular glitching, occasional freezing, lag, input lag and different glitches here and there even during boss fights
I had a day where I could'nt see Petra , Django (sword still swinging ..hilarious ) or Gayle neither would Gust allow me to interact. Simply closed the game completely restarted the game to the same day and all back to normal ...phew!! Happened to be taken to Starlight Island by Arlo that day so not too painful to replay :DDD.
I have had two days where it crashed at the end of the day ..super frustrating ..but nothing significant and catching up is super quick the next day . I pine for Dylas what can I say.

One morning I found a letter in my mail box with him expressing how mad he was because I was late 🤣🤣. I'm like "you're the one who didn't show!"

No. Its sequel, My Time at Sandrock, has multiplayer. Its sequel is still in early access and the multiplayer is only in closed testing.
Heya I was wondering if anyone can help me out 😮. So I picked up " My time at Sandrock " on pc a while back and played a lil was sooo good. I'm wanting to pick up " My time at Portia " but I wanted to try it on my nintendo switch?? Is it any good on the switch yet or is it still a mess? Should I just go pc? I just wanted to be able to play on the go or weekends away etc, thankyou all 🎉

....wanted to say one more thing, I finished my time at Portia 3 times and 2 days ago I restarted....there a few tips-_- : never marry Emily, Higgins is a fk piece of shit -_- only game that will really make you hate a character ( first thing when you wake up you can go and steal from Higgins furnaces)...you didn't show fishing, fishing is the most rewarding in cash. The gathering aspect is very necessary only in the beginning, rush the main story till you unlock the lumber yard and the quarry, you can pay a monthly subscription and you get wood and stone every morning in the mailbox...npc influence the world to, and they will influence your story to, for example...when you will craft the double barrel shotgun and you use it Mr Lee will come and tell you to not use it, and if you do -_- his friend meter will drop by 100. You didn't show the farming aspect...latter in game you can make a robot friend that will come and collect you milk, egg and plants. Oh, and...you know that they are building the 2 game?? Is called my time at sandrock, you can download the demo for free
Why not marry Emily? She's the only way to get the pumpkin house. And she's really sweet.

no. I found the game (on the Switch) really confusing and frustrating. I kept going at it but in 5 months I hadn't completed one task, or collected enough to make much of anything. I was still living in the same hovel. I just couldn't work out what to do and why. Everything I tried didn't work out. I couldn't find my way around, either. Not a Stardew player because I don't like the retro graphic, so I was hoping this would work out, but for me, no. It's pretty to look at, but on the Switch the animation is dreadful.
