I would like to start off by saying you guys always have very good videos and highly appreciated thank you so much for making them I have a question I have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt my front driver side I'm getting a lot of vibration I can even feel up in the steering wheel I've replace lower control arm I've replaced wheel bearings / ball joints on both sides I still have the same problem can you point me in the right direction to help figure this out appreciate it thank you so much as always keep making great videos👍

Hello and thank you for the demo. In my Chevrolet spark the rear right drum is making friction with the shoes in one point of the rotation. the drum is good because i changed it with the left one and the same happens. There is a problem in the hub, bearing or spindle. what part do you think it is the weakest and with more chances to warp in a wheel hit? No noises are heard or play when rotating the hub, but for sure one of this parts have a problem because we can see the drum get near and away of the plate when rotating. Thank you.
One way to tell if its the bearing, besides a loud grinding noise coming from the wheel, is to touch the hub, if ones alot hotter than the other side, its the bearing.

I have one different rim on my passenger back tire after I hit a pot hole and bent the original rim. Would that cause the tire/steering wheel to shake? It only shakes when I accelerate or slowing down, eventually it gets better and not as intense when it starts.
If you did it to the left and right there’s no reason why it should vibrate. If anything your new wheels and tires probably didn’t get balanced or you were sold a bent wheel.
my 2005 chevy impala had a squeak that turned into a knocking noise when I hit a bump or accelerated. it would be quiet as a church mouse when at speed. I checked the tire and it seems loose when you push on the treads it has a wobble but not when you push from the side well. I'm thinking it may be the bearing but not sure.

Len I need help!!! I have a 06 gmc 2500 I have a wobble at 45. I feel it in my seat not stearing wheel. I've replaced the entire front end steering components I've put new tires on I've replaced both a arms a ball joints both wheel bearings. Absolutely no noise just a wobble. I put my plow on and it's 10 times worse I out 1k pounds in the back stays the same so it definitely in front end I've checked u joints and they seem fine and have grease fittings I grease alot. Idk what to.do it's been to 2 shops and they all say it's fine rides nice. My 13 year old can even tell its not right how they can't idk but what could it be

A wheel alignment shop can tell you if bushings or tie rods are bad but it is also possible you gotta bad replacement bearing as well! It happens all the time unfortunately🤦♂️
I have a Chevy Cobalt.It has brand new tires and i got the front brakes done and the driver strut.My drivers wheel is still shaking when the Auto Shop guy said it was the strut.I jacked up the car but my driver side wheel don't move or shake.It only shakes when I'm pressing on the brakes then my wheel will wobble.What could it be ???

So I put spacers and rims on my scatpack and the wheels are wobbling so much it’s not even funny , took them to get balanced and tighten really good and it’s still wobbling , idk what it is it’s pissing me off what can it be ?

+Wav Vy Thanks for checking us out! If you have the tools to do the job it would only cost the amount of the part but if you don't and have to take it to a shop to get fixed, that varies greatly. You can check with local shops to see what they charge hourly and if you are able to bring your own parts or if they have to provide them.
You need 2 measure the hub's lateral runout with a dial indicator...good luck finding a local shop that can do it for you though, 98% of the time you just have to break down & diy on that one or if it's that obvious you could just return it and start all over a brand new bearing should be under warranty?
I have to drive my 07 sonata like that to get to the mechanic. 30 or 40 miles like that! What are my chances of the wheel falling off while im driving????
@@mxchelleunbreakable2513 - It's almost impossible to say, but for sure it can fall off at ANY time! Be it 5 miles or 500 miles! Road conditions and driving style also matter a lot. People for goodness sake do not let vehicles reach this stage of neglect! Honestly it's ridiculous the amount of danger, cost and extra effort that can come of a situation like this! Truly not worth. Last time I saw one of these failing in a really dramatic way. The guy had is car severely damaged because, beside the wheel literally fall off! The car was damaged underneath and by the fender. That side, that scratched against the overpass rail was totally scratched and dented and topping it of a cracked head light/turn signal assembly... This was a pretty up scale from what initially was supposed to be a simple bearing exchange!!!! Luckily no one was injured inside or outside the vehicle. Not fruit of capacity or performance, but that was pure dumb luck!!

1A Auto Parts it’s a 2004 Toyota Tundra sport. It’s the back drivers side tire. I hydroplaned and hit the side of a bridge sideways and almost went over. The only damage was to both tires on the drivers side. The front one exploded while the back one was all wobbly so I changed the tire which ended up having an egg in it so I thought that was my problem but even after I changed the tire it’s still wobbly which makes me think it could be the bearing. So I’m wondering how much it would cost to fix that. Ty for replying.

Is this a worser case of a bad wheel bearing? Mines like that but not nearly as bad

would a 2-3 inches height on tire size cause any vibration??? went from 225/70r16 to 225/50r17... almost 3 inches heright difference.
If you did it to the left and right there’s no reason why it should vibrate. If anything your new wheels and tires probably didn’t get balanced or you were sold a bent wheel.

What causing my right tire to wobble when turning hard left
Just replaced both my front and my steering wheel still wobbles at any/all speed... Had tires balanced and rotated and it got worse? Any suggestions?
