Love the engine combo. Smaller cubes with a peaky blower means you can play around a lot and it still yanks you around, and it's an absolurte monster when you want to do a hard pull. Gorgeous car, great taste. Subtle and clean. Love it.
WOW! Absolutely beautiful. Back in the day not many guys wanted the coupe/notch in my area, now they are more desirable (in most areas) than the LX hatchback or GT.
A Trunk LX DECH! Yes Man! 302 died and I was building a 351 Cleveland to put in it and.. Absolute Joy! It towed my 750 Kawasaki jet ski. (It was tuned too.) 1989 DECH.
Beautiful Fox Coupe. I got a Lx hatchback just like that. Just more over board. Painted top bottom in and out. Show car Race car Street car. Just like 5hat Coupe
Beautiful car! I need a tuner guy out here in Phoenix. Chris from behind bars worked on my car back in the day, even have a set of Posts 40# Injectors he sold.me years ago for 50 bucks.. Haha Love the videos keepnit up guys #foxbodiesmatter
That is absolutely a bad ass ride......is running a blow off valve?(sounds like it in the ride on the first 40 seconds of pulls) if so what type of bov and brand is he running? I am in the process of finishing my supercharged 92 GT and I'm in the air about whether or not to run a bov on my setup which I'm leaning more towards yes but I wanted to ask someone who has experienced running one on a supercharged combo. I want to thank you in advance for your time and input!
Chris mikos who owned Midwest mustangs in lake villa painted the car. MM is no longer and these days chris works a day job at a dealership body shop and raises 3 children while rebuilding China-atv’s at night😂
It's so fun and adds so much more to the experience when you have something done to this level. Not just the speed but hearing it its just an overall amazing experience and it's fun to gap fancy modified newer cars lol.
Pretty sure the hood was open the whole time and we discussed the motor. What exactly did you want us to show? I'll work on that for the next video. Anyway, thank you for watching and commenting.
He built the car years ago and does it really matter in the end? A 700+ wheel notch is capable of hurting some feelings even in today's world. He has nothing to be ashamed of.
Sn95 are nicer than fox bodies inside and out. I like foxes but I get tired of the bandwagon fox craze while people not only overlook sn95s but plain disrespect them by saying stuff like that when it's a higher quality car in every aspect. Better oem brakes, 5 lug, better interior, more room for wide meats all around, better aero and not that much more weight. Sn95 can be sick if they're done to the level of this notch. The 96-98 cobra with the 4v is also badass. I've owned at least 3 of both cars and the fox build quality is crao by comparison. I feel like it's like the me too car of 80s and 90s muscle cars and it's also trendy to dislike sn95s because others say that shit it's annoying g
He built it years ago and was inspired by late 90s early 00s style builds so that explains why you did one similar 18 years ago. I don't see anywhere on this video where it states there is anything new about any of this in fact it was quite the opposite.
That guy needs to put darker rims on that car really makes it stand out not plane black like black with nichole plated i hav sumthing like that on my blue car nice car thow
Love the engine combo. Smaller cubes with a peaky blower means you can play around a lot and it still yanks you around, and it's an absolurte monster when you want to do a hard pull.
Gorgeous car, great taste. Subtle and clean. Love it.
I knew he repainted it but didn’t know how extensive the rust issues were. These Dam blue notches haunt my dreams lol. Great video!
I learned a lot about this car myself. Always interesting to get the backstory.
WOW! Absolutely beautiful. Back in the day not many guys wanted the coupe/notch in my area, now they are more desirable (in most areas) than the LX hatchback or GT.
Yep same here, nobody wanted the Notch. Now they are hard to find and very expensive! Someday...I hope to add one to the garage!
opposite here in Northern california hatchbacks are less desirable and notchbacks are the most wanted. interesting 😁
I have had many 5.0. my 90 coupe was my favorite. wish I keep of for my son.. 👎👎👎
@@mybannerisbetterthanyours yeah, folks in NJ knew the LX coupe was the lightest so they were the popular choice against the GNs.
I loved, and still love, the notch backs in high school in the late 80s. Total sleepers. That's a beautiful car.
Whoohooo my cars in the background
Bro .... That's a beautiful blue! LX trunk has always, always been my favorite. Mad props to the owner, it's f'n awesome 😎
I love how the engine bay was done. Another awesome video Tom!
Yeah Nate did a great job with this build. Love the YS-i Supercharger too. Thanks for watching, Matt!
Beautiful colour that. Love to see an early 60's Fairlane or Galaxie 500 in that colour. Wow. Nice!
best part are the before and after pics. Gives me hope on my build
Don't give up! They take time, but worth the wait! Thank you for watching and commenting.
A Trunk LX DECH! Yes Man! 302 died and I was building a 351 Cleveland to put in it and.. Absolute Joy! It towed my 750 Kawasaki jet ski. (It was tuned too.) 1989 DECH.
This fox is beautiful, not over the top just like they used to build them back in the late 90s early 00s. 💗💗💗
Luv that color I had a 1986 GT back in 1995 that was ford electric blue with built motor and suspension
All I can say is that is a beautiful build to be proud of. 👊🏿✊🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Another great top notch video Tom. So nice to see when you have a new video out
Always top notch cars too. Thanks for doing what you do !!
Thank you very much! I love making these videos and it's nice to hear feedback like this. I'll keep'em coming!
That would be a cool name for a channel "Top Notch".
What a beautiful 😍 build. I have a baby sn95. This solidified that I need to remind my car and keep the color. Absolutely incredible 🎯 spot on👌🏾😎💪🏾

It is a beautiful car!!😍
Beautiful Fox Coupe. I got a Lx hatchback just like that. Just more over board. Painted top bottom in and out. Show car Race car Street car. Just like 5hat Coupe
Sounds Sweeeit!
We want to hear more idle! And more downshifting! And more drive-by. Please and thank you
That YSI needs bigger volume heads. Like Edelbrock Victor Jr.
Still one of the nicest Fox cars Iv seen.
Agreed! But for a box head and a typical long runner intake she does ok😂
Beautiful car Nate! Do you have more pictures or videos of the rebuild on the body?
Beautiful car.
All without an LSX. 👌
Hell yeah! Thank you for watching and commenting.
cleannnnnn
Guy doesn’t remember what he did for the fuel system upgrades. That’s pretty badass
Beautiful car! I need a tuner guy out here in Phoenix. Chris from behind bars worked on my car back in the day, even have a set of Posts 40# Injectors he sold.me years ago for 50 bucks..
Haha

Thank you for watching! I did a review on that capri already. Check out my channel and I'm sure you'll find it and definitely enjoy it.
Just Beautiful!!!!!!
Sweet ride can you do my car 93 GT and where you located?
That's a lot of power for a Ford Fairmont Mercury Zephyr
Awesome!!!!
Awesome!!!🤙🏼🤙🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼😎
That's a bad ass whip. 👍👍
Agreed! Thank you for watching and commenting.

Aaron I run a procharger “big red” blow off valve
BIG LIKE !!!!
I luv this car
this is it...that's the build...
combo reminds me of the old nmra real street class , not that may people bought those stock stoke forged cranks.
Geezz!!!... that's a nice freaking car. I liked what I'm guessing was be4 , and after pics at the End👍😁👍
Thanks, cuz! I appreciate you always watching. Yeah the end was before and after. I always like to show some transitions if possible.
@@BrotherTom 😁👍
Beautiful notch! What color is that? Yes, I love it lol.
That is Bright Atlantic Blue. Thank you for watching!
What color is that

awsome
Sweet😎
Beautiful fox!!!
What rpm does it make peak power at?
6900rpm
No burnout?
I like it
She is a beaut!!
Do you know were or who painted that car?
Chris mikos who owned Midwest mustangs in lake villa painted the car. MM is no longer and these days chris works a day job at a dealership body shop and raises 3 children while rebuilding China-atv’s at night😂
sorry my bad! disregard below
I don't even need 700hp.....I just want something as clean as your car while I cruise.
It's so fun and adds so much more to the experience when you have something done to this level. Not just the speed but hearing it its just an overall amazing experience and it's fun to gap fancy modified newer cars lol.
How Much
He sold it, actually
Nice car can i get a link for u
Nates Instagram is @dr._foxbody
Show the motor & suspension next time. What kinda show was this.
Pretty sure the hood was open the whole time and we discussed the motor. What exactly did you want us to show? I'll work on that for the next video. Anyway, thank you for watching and commenting.
@@BrotherTom it was fine I seen the engine just fine watching the same video. Nice car and good video ignore the haters.
All old tech. Should have used the holley stock style in tank pump good for 1000hp.
He did state it was a 90s inspired period correct build.
I built this car in 2012-2013 so you are correct: it’s outdated.
He built the car years ago and does it really matter in the end? A 700+ wheel notch is capable of hurting some feelings even in today's world. He has nothing to be ashamed of.
One dislike. Not surprised at all by who😂
not it
Smart, sn95 blows

I doubt even 1% of youtube viewers have ever heard of ms-dos.
Haha I think you're 100% right! We're showing our age. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Must be nice to have money like that! If I had that money my car would have that as well!
Or just but a procharger.
it is a Ford, stupid LS motors because you can't afford a Coyote. disgrace to the Mustang family. Buys a damn Chevy then.
This is a Ford motor wtf r u talking about? It's a 302 punched out to 308 with a big vortech. Did you even watch the video?
Show the motor and suspension next time guys. What kinda review was that.
Nothing new I accomplished that 18 years ago
Car wasn't built yesterday. He also stated it was a 90's inspired build when he built it many years ago.
OK? And? Lol
He built it years ago and was inspired by late 90s early 00s style builds so that explains why you did one similar 18 years ago. I don't see anywhere on this video where it states there is anything new about any of this in fact it was quite the opposite.

Or some dark gunmetal style wheels would also look sick.
