Congratulations on another good and updated video.
Thank you 🤗
Now Fujian is the largest warship (80000+ tons)in Asia and heavier than Yamato (72812 tons) which is built 80 years ago.
Probably the second large warship in the world. China use metric tons instead of short tons,so Fujian is more than 88000+ short tons)may larger than all Nimitz class and only smaller than Ford class.
Nope , nimitz have 100.000 ton+ ... Heavier than Fujian
0:56 for signal flags the three from top to bottom means, 1, 8, dragging anchor, reapectively.
And 18 IS fujian’s pennant no.
Yes
today is the birthday of Matsu, which is the most appropriate date for Fujian to sail lol
Hehe true!
I think the date is deliberately chosen cuz week before it was the 75th anniversary of PLAN, when Fujian was predicted to show but she didn't.
It's even more appropriate if Matsu was from Fujian
Pls excuse my ignorance ,but ,who is mature?

And China is building 2 aircraft carriers at the same time now, might be nuclear-powered.
Yes, they are all nuclear-powered propulsion systems, equipped with electromagnetic catapult.
Fantastic addition to the channel.
This is a monumental achievement for China, and one I hope the world can appreciate. Not even the Soviet Union contended with the United States in the construction of aircraft carriers. The last time we had an opponent in this regard was Imperial Japan.
You are forgetting the RN.......during the interwar years, both the RN and USN were looking sideways at each other as much as they were towards the former IJN.
What most people dont understand is Soviet Union aircraft carriers had a completely different purpose to aircraft carriers of the US. Soviet/Russian carriers are built to serve the task of fleet defence where as for the US they are strike platforms.
In the end i dont think China will compete with the US in carriers either as in modern times they are an extremely vulnerable asset. They are an asset to be used against a weak enemy but against peers they will be sunk or disabled.
@@gumpyoldbugger6944The HMS Queen Elizabeth, a $3.7 billion flagship, has been particularly problematic, experiencing both a fire and a propeller issue within a short span.
-These incidents underscore the complexities and high costs associated with aircraft carrier operations, casting doubts on the Royal Navy's current capability to manage and deploy these sophisticated ships effectively.

It's stil quite close to the PLAN anniversary. Actually, it is more significant symbolically to sail 1 day before May 1 which is worldwide Labor Day, which is also usually the golden week for China. This holiday is one of the most significant for the PRC which is still a socialist country. The celebration of the International Worker with the launch of his/her most staunchest defender, a new modern carrier should not be lost to people.
That's fair enough. I must confess I didn't understand the significance of the International Labour Day to China, partly due to my background as a Taiwanese and (in some respect) Westerner. I did read one commenter on X stating that this is an important holiday, but without much elaboration, so this point did not impress on me at the time.
@@EurasiaNavalthis really surprises me as even non-socialist/communist nations celebrate it. May 1st is a holiday in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and even Taiwan
@@sw36jl Yes they do celebrate it, but I'm am talking about the significance/gravity of this celebration as opposed to whether it is celebrated.
@@EurasiaNaval You can tell the importance of International Workers' Day from the length of the national holiday: It has a holiday period almost as long as National Day.

Most beautiful carrier in the world
you mean the most substandard carrier in the world. Followed by the most inexperienced army the world has ever seen. Yes we know, China’s army is that bad. The whole world knows it from Korean War, Vietnam-Sino War, the world even saw how chinese UN “peacekeepers” run away in south sudan, how embarrassing

A very nice looking vessel, and a credit to the Chinese designers and engineers. Lets hope the sea trials are a resounding success, and provide the information the PLAN needs for the next carrier. If the need arose I suspect the commissioning might be shortened somewhat, maybe considerably.
once this one has been checked and given the final green light, wouldnt be surprised if 2 or 3 are concurrently being worked on with slight adjustments etc
Designers? You mean the design they stole from the USA?
i think EMAL will be the main issue.... once they fine tune for reliability operation, more carriers will be built for sure
they probably will have issues. but, considering what the chinese are capable of industry-wise, thats going to be a fraction of what goes wrong in EU/US/UK shipyards and factories.
I can speak confidently about german industry, this will only get worse around here.
I remember how impressed i was with most chinese at university compared to my german fellows. now, 2 decades later, it has come out exactly as it looked like back then. i was sure they will smoke the west very soon. and they did. i am so impressed by this! even more so, since, at the very same time, germans did everything possible to trash what the chinese came for to study.
it is truly something what happened here, and in china! :)

In today's world, there are 190 countries, and China is the largest trading partner for 130 of them. China is the second or third largest trading partner for another 60 countries. This implies that China has a responsibility to possess the most powerful naval fleet on Earth, used to defend China and the majority of countries in the world from attacks by Anglo-Saxon pirate gangs. For example, China is India's largest trading partner. I believe Indians wouldn't want a situation where tomorrow, the United States suddenly demands that India stop importing goods from China, threatening to bomb India otherwise. If China has the strongest fleet, then we can defend the trade security of both China and India.

I have never seen such an objective and profound blogger on UA-cam about the PLA. As a Chinese and a military enthusiast, I must admit that he gets some news very quickly and accurately than most of Chiense. Chinese people may have heard of some star weapons such as J20 and CV Fujian, but 99% of people don't care about their specific performance and parameters. To be honest, the government is not too keen on promoting these weapons and is very cautious about their information. As military enthusiasts, we often complain about this. Because of the blogger's Taiwanese background, he can read and understand Chinese media, military forums, and even the procurement information network of the military industry department to obtain the latest information. So his channel is indeed unique. Even on Chinese social media, there are few such detailed introductions (because if you say too much and cause some secrets leaks, you may be taken away by the police)
Very interesting channel keep moving!

This Yangtze River delta area is where the world's first-concerted aerial-attack against a carrier strike force took place in 1937; Chinese Air Force A-17s, A-12 Shrikes, Northrup Gammas were SUPPOSEDLY escorted by Boeing P-26 Model 281 Peashooters of the 5th Pursuit Group from rendevous-point up-river BUT... the commander of the 1st Attack-Bomber group (name unavailable) disregarded orders to wait for the P-26/281 escort fighters (under command of Lt. John Wong Pan-Yang / deputy commander Huang Xinrui) and proceeded to attack the Imperial Japanese Navy's carrier strike force of IJN _Kaga, Ryujo and Hosho_ sadly only to be decimated by defending IJN combat air patrol of A2N & A4N fighter planes....the Chinese Air Force would make some more attempts at bombing the IJN aircraft carrier strike groups in outside the Yangtze delta, and came very close to hitting Kaga and Ryujo! But close is not success. BTW I remember reading about this many years ago, which could've been from memoirs of Gen. Claire Lee Chennault, but not sure; what I do remember clearly is that the commander of the 1st Attack-Bomber Group who disobeyed orders to wait for the 5th Pursuit Group's P-26/281 escort fighters was personally reprimanded by Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek and EXECUTED by firing-squad for his grave mistake in executing military order. If anyone here have more information on this, please let it be known! These are important lessons in history of military/combat aviation. AND, BTW... the *_Battle of Chongqing_* (aka Bombing of Chungking 1938-41) was a very consequential battle that directly-lead to the *attack on Pearl Harbor* - which would never had happened had the U.S. sincerely helped China beat-back the Imperial Japanese after the _Rape of Nanking_ and stopped providing material support to the Empire of Japan; indeed it was like a _proxy war_ btwn China-USSR vs Japan-USSA at the *Battle of Chongqing* until the USA finally "switch-sides" in mid-1941 w/the Oil+Steel Embargo against the Empire of Japan... 4 years too late. This is why China CANNOT rely on outside "help" for national safety and self-determination.

@camt8804 - the Chinese Air Force/and the warlord air forces they integrated were flying a mixed-bag of combat aircraft by 1937 before being abandoned by the USA, but then received great relief from the Russians under the Sino-Soviet Treaty around the time of the Rape Of Nanjing; before that the Chinese pilots flew American Curtiss Hawk II/IIIs, Boeing P-26/281s, JAPANESE Aichi AB-3s, Nakajima Ko4s, Italian Fiat CR.30/32s, German Heinkels/Junkers, British Gloster Gladiators... TOO MANY TO LIST, before transferring almost completely into the Soviet Polikarpov I-15, I-16, I-153 fighters and Tupolev bombers by the end of 1938... only when the Americans got their a$$€s handed back to them from the Pearl Harbor attack/Pacific War, did the U.S. in provide earnest support to the Chinese... well, actually, after the Japanese invaded their French colonialist friends in Indochina... which of course Chiang Kai-shek was delighted with as it helps him distance-away from Second United Front with the Chinese PLA and Soviets... w/already brewing anti-Soviet sentiment w/Team USA...
