In 2023 it launched its flagship, the TCG Anadolu the first unmanned combat aerial vehicle carrier in the world. And the country's latest project is looking to go the extra mile to strengthen its naval capabilities.

In my opinion, Turkiye 🇹🇷, after analysing pros and cons, must build the aircraft carrier, efficient enough to be a platform for the improved version of Kaan - 5th gen fighter aircraft.
Simultaneously Turkiye's should take adequate measures to diversify and boost it's economic powerhouse.
Turkiye 🇹🇷 should ally with Qatar 🇶🇦, who was denied a repair of Airbus fleet and it led to a legal battle, whose outcome was in favor of Airbus, if I remember correct.
Qatar 🇶🇦 with it's finance and Turkiye 🇹🇷 with it's technical efficiency, if both collaborate. It will strengthen the Islamic world in defense and sovereignty. Additionally if Iran 🇮🇷 also gets included, it will strengthen the equation further.
kaan wont be stationed on the carrier sorry it is too big a design it would limit operations making the project not feasible, instead light craft hürjet's navalized version will be stationed plus drones and helicopters

Honestly if they have the tech they should! Its not necessary to build a nuclear powered carrier as it will be only used regionally. Türkiye should build a carrier (or two) to project its power in the region
Our Turkish people must not focus on aircraft carriers but instead they must focus on making ships for Turkish navy that can create artificial islands in a matter of days like a week along with runways and aircrafts repair and air defense units and hospitals which are below the surface of these artificial islands these islands are more effective than aircraft carriers as they can survive huge amount of aireal nuclear and biological bombings if made right and can help control part of ocean and provide permanent survelliance. the strategy of manned crafts having autonomous wingmen will allow this smaller aircrafts carrier to have the same punching power of a far larger aircraft carrier with all manned aircraft.
You should try to be 2nd/3rd most powerful navy not just top 10. May be in 10-20 years.
In dreams. To build or sustain such a navy, turkey needs a gdp of atleast $5 trillion dollars. Or else it will collapse like USSR.

hope Turkish Navy is smart enough & opts for a proper CATOBAR aircraft carrier instead of STOBAR or STOVL . . .
I would advice them to go in the submarine superiority direction and keep increasing the production of fast moving frigates.
They will acquire first with cooperation with Germany, but mostly equipped with turkish systems and weaponry Type 214 AIP submarines. Then is national submarine project MILDEN which are expected to be bigger in size and displacement than german ones. There is also STM 500 submarines which are smaller for shallow waters which could be acquired if there is a need. Also there are underwater unmanned vehicles and submarines projects.
For frigates they will be acquiring Istif class which we could assume that could have different configuration in later ships.

Advise President Erdogan to reconsider building a large aircraft carrier. Maybe design it but not actually build it. If going to build one, then build a small model aircraft carrier. Save that money and build other things like more of the upgraded 6th generation Kaan, frigates, destroyers, etc.
What ships going to protect the carrier?
Turkey has a proper navy including subs it will be just fine.

That Helicopter dock is based on Spanish Juan Carlos design of Navantia group so plzz stop doing this PR stunt and the dummy Aircraft which is flown as 5th generation Fighter Kaan is just scaled Model and not even a prototype of KAAN because it's Final Design is not freezed right now and will be done by 2025 .so please work 9n your economy first .
