I like the Brits' QE class double-island, just because it's two. The French Charles de Gaulle island looks cool too even though it's a bit more complicated and less stealthy than the Fujian's. The Chinese have some good-looking ships, though... especially their Renhai-class (Type 055) cruisers. Sleek and futuristic, and packing a heavy punch.

The USN on the other hand, doesn't really have a consistent design language between carriers, Ticos and Burkes. It's like every ship was designed by a different team.

not just beginning, almost done already, only left the final 20~30% work for reality test on ship, cuz PLA attended to the ship building process all the time and training at the same time.

Watched this before you post it up, and thought you will do that ASAP, Yes, the HD video is amazing, the carrier is such a beauty, amazingly stunning full speed cruising.
It's not actually sailing at full speed
In addition, it is actually all-electric propulsion. Multiple turbine engines are only used to generate electricity and drive motor propulsion, and it uses direct current, not alternating current.
Nobody is going to test the limit at the first sea trial. Have to say it was smooth, balanced and fast cruising.
@@What-pt9uq In additiion to the diesel engines for recharing the IEP (Integrated Electric Propulsion), I wonder if they could ever make the entire deck a giant solar panel and also have pop up wind turbines on the sides to help charge the batteries. I guess the wind turbines would look kind of funny and it's not practical to design a tough enough deck for planes to land on and still have solar panels underneath a transparent surface. The IEP is a transition technology. Nuclear power is still the best way to go.
