@@airgunreplicas77 I suppose for the M17 it allows you to visually clear the barrel after shooting, which is generally a good practice for firearm training and safety, as well as assisting in clearing jams. The X-Five doesn't have an ejection port, so it's purely cosmetic. No idea if either were intentional designs or not.
I just love these Sig X-FIVEs. A true classic. Got a few BB X5's and then one of these ASPs in black. I love all of them. Been concidering to buy another one of these ASPs. If really wanna open up the port on the slide - but I still haven't bothered to do it. I did change the slide spring though (from an ASG 1911 Classic airsoft springer, that had a slightly stiffer 14mm spring). The slide action became significantly better. Would want a silver one surely - but the price of these nowadays over here in Finland is around €230 - which imo is way too much...Concidering I paid €136 for mine right as the very first ones arrived on the European market. The prices are quite high up there nowadays imo..
Would this piece fit any of the hard tip penetrating pellets? Hornets maybe? Don't suppose lethals would since they're a bit too long Thanks for the vid! Really enjoyed it.
@@airgunreplicas77 That's true flatter is always better. But sad that all the flat ones are made of lead. I wanted something harder for increased penetration, but I guess that's just the downside of getting a pistol, you can't use speciality pellets. I might end up buying a DW 715 revolver just so that I can use these penetrators
@@airgunreplicas77 Isn't that a break barrel? Those are good too with quite a punch as well but I'm into the CO2 ones because of the repeat fire capability
Any dryfiring with realistic looking guns will help to get used to slow trigger pull and front sight focus.. Remember though the stability comes from ur standinf technique
top quality review. packed with information.
Much appreciated!
This gun, along with the M17, actually do have slide lock back feature. Hold the slide back and pull the trigger halfway to engage the slide lock.
Ah ok. What’s the purpose of it? Is it intentional for some maintenance reason?

Yeah crazy prices eh? I must say I’ve been considering another in black but there are SO many pistols on my wish list!
@@airgunreplicas77 Yea.. I know what you mean.. I also got at least a few ones that'd I really want..
Hi, how to clean this gun ?
Plus can we fix red dot on it ?

Possibly worth trying a few different types. Generally speaking, the flatter the better for these. I tend to stick to basic wadcutters.

Yeah that’s a good alternative. Or maybe something like the Ruger MKIV if you’re not as bothered about round count.

@@avp.69 yeah it is. With you there. I prefer co2 and the true replica element.
I'm your 1911 subscriber. Get it 😂
Nice video! Is it made in Japan?
Thanks. Yes it is made in Japan.
Can you provide me the same pistol? I am very interested because I need training for military competitions.
I don’t think this would help. Also I’m not a retailer. Sorry.

Can I buy this from you ?
Sorry mate. I’m a hoarder!
I want one
Well you're not having mine! 😄
@@airgunreplicas77 haha no one seems to be selling the silver ones anymore. Looks like you got I there at the right time 👍
