    Bought this one yesterday for 200€. It's really damn heavy, and yes i'm having difficulties with the trigger too. Shot too low when out of the box, needed to adjust the rear sight too. Overall amazing airgun, nice addition to my Walther CP99. Nice vid!

    I like it , I like it a lot in fact , recon it would be great fun down the garden shooting cans strategically placed , price is good too ... I'm gonna wait till the shooting show next Feb before even thinking about another purchase , just bought the brocock bantam sniper HR .. and I must say , initial testing ( tonight ) after cleaning and leading in , and around 150 pellets through it ...seems quite decent , few more brands of pellets too test with it , and allowing everything too settle in ... Should be a fantastic acquisition .. super dooper vid Andy ..

    Just bought one of these today. Got a silver one with the black grips. Picked up a Kydex holster, a couple spare mags and a red dot to put on it too.
    I'm excited for it to come in. I've got a couple friends that want to shoot my real steel X-Five Legion but I don't trust them to not shoot themselves in the foot so this will have to do.

    I just got one today, had a little try, magazine system is an interesting feature, (note to self, buy more magazines), I also own a sig p225 co2 pistol and I am pretty accurate with that, but with this x-five I struggle to hit a barn door, guess it will just take some getting used to.

    I own one of these in the United States and after a few days of messing around with it I’ve found that it doesn’t like oddly shaped pellets (performance pellets of any brand) when pellets are not seated properly, not only will the magazine jam, but it will also become stuck in the gun. While this can be rectified by some harsh trigger pulls and some wiggling, I decided the gun suited better as a display item than a useful target pistol, and it has sat on my shelf for years now. However, it did have excellent accuracy, even out to 30 yards (

    Love the looks, feel, weight and especially the fully adjustable rear sight on this one!
    Probably the only letdown for me was the feel of low fps.
    But a piece of duct-tape taped under the CO2 capsule helped the performancea bit. :)
    Yes. The triggerpull is a bit odd because of the beltmag system - but it will be worked in with time. Can't really yet say much of the accuracy - since I have not yet shot with it that much.
    The P320 was a dissappointment - but this one is a way better choice. Better with only 20 pellet mag I'd say. Not a jam since my first magazine.

    About a week in on my new one. Shoots a bit low out of the box, but easy adjustment on the rear sight and shoots wonderful. Awesome weight and feel very close to my real one. Would prefer field strippable, but I'm sure that will come with time. Using 7.0 gr RWS Meisterkugeln, and 6.9 gr RWS Super-H-Point pellets with no issues. As the Co2 is so easy to load, I do not leave the cartridge in the gun, I use it up and remove the empty. I can load a new one within a couple seconds if needed. This is a very good plinker and I'm very impressed with the quality at this point. I will follow up if anything changes. Thanks Andy, your review actually sold me on picking one of these up :)

      You can,quite easily take off the barrel for small adjustments in the barrels. Once the slide is off, just take out the two screws in the front part of the aluminium blocks. The upper screw prevents the outer barrel to be taken out if nlt taken out completely. The lower front screw just clamps the blocks. The barrel can be pulled out after that. A piece of tape onto the rear of the outer barrel - and the barrel points a hint more upwards.

    The weight is designed to allow for continuation of muscle memory when training. Of course, in the UK we don't allow anyone to carry or use a real P320 and its cousins, so the idea of having a practice piece for those who would use a real Sig as part of their job or for personal defence makes no sense to us. In the US, the extra weight and 'odd' trigger action is expected in a training weapon.
    Expect to see 420fps once it has leaded in (200 pellets).

    • @dave-j-k
      @dave-j-k 3 роки тому

      Leading in is the the inside of the barrel getting coated with a fine layer of lead - the rifling needs some use to start to perform well, stick 100-200 pellets down it and it will shoot better that it did out of the box.

      If only choose one, I'd probably recommend the SA-10. Love both of these surely. I am a huge Sig fan myself. But the SA-10's system is better imo. I'd love to have this X-FIVE model made with the magazine system that the SA-10 uses. The SA-10 is more reliable than this belt-fed X5. And the SA-10's trigger is awesome. This pellet X5's trigger has plenty to be improved on.

Lock open, full sized mag, double and single action trigger, field stripable, quality build, full blowback if desired ( not half a blowback), good accuracy at 10m, etc etc. There's some great pistols out there but always a compromise.

Now about this replica: yes, to bad it doesn't stop open after its last shot. Not being field stripable is another one. Two preferences I do not feel unable to not use... In this country where I am, 6mms replicas are expensive and laborious to get. And I do not want to play airsoft. All this to say, that I am considering to turn to 4,5mms... But I want realism! It is enough not to own legally the real steel ones!! Meanwhile, I will keep watching your work, and thanks for all your dedication on sharing. Wish you, and to those that help you, just the best.

    The hell? I live in California and only paid 135 dollars for the gun plus a starter pack with co2 and 500 pellets...

      Sadly, air pistols cost a lot more in the UK and in Europe generally, partly because the market for shooting stuff in general is tiny compared to the US. I'm regularly tortured by hearing how cheap these things are in America.

      If you have a concealed carry permit why on earth would you carry an air pistol? Surely a firearm would be a better idea?

    Revolting revolvers?
    Upgrade from GAMO PR-776 Revolver? to a belt feed Sig Sauer X-5 ASP? I am considering an upgrade and weighing my options, Deconstructing the round fixed cylinder revolver GAMO mag to a pellet, belt loop magazine, cranky, wanky!
    From everything I've read here? The instructions are...?
    Please gently lubricate by hand, the belt loops in your X5 magazines with lithium lubes. Petroleum based products like WD-40 break down the plastic of the belt loops and attract dust as well gumming up the acttion, Use some kinda lithium grease, on the the plastic loops stick
    I played with revolver/repeater/replicas in my time, a Crosman Vigilante and a Gamo PR-776.. I mounted reflex sights on them, enjoyed target shooting them developing my bench rest accuracy skill set. I have my sights set on this Sig Sauer replica. I test my accuracy and limits bench resting out to 50ft. in a rural outdoor area. Nobody even notice these guns cuz they sound like compressor driven nail guns that carpenter, trades people and handywo/man use repairing and renovating properties in this area.

      is pushing 410 fps. at 85 deg with 7grain pellets. just have some time off and put some rounds downrange. you'll see.

    After purchasing an Sig P320 I can say you that I never will buy a Sig again...

    • @brorjordas1979
      @brorjordas1979 5 років тому +1

      Yes. The P320 is a pistol by Sig that I would not buy another of.
      Had lots jams with it and he aiming was way off. The blowback was hard and sweet.. probably the only positive side on that particular pistol. And in Finland it most commonly is sold for approx 200€ even.. Whew! What a price!! :o
      But if you like the style of it though - then get the P250 instead.

      I own the Sig P226, the P250 and the P320, and I had a lot of jamming problems with the P320 to begin with, but there are solutions:
      1. Get the 20-round replacement mags, the 30-round mag was a big mistake.
      2. Grease up the inside of the mags and the belt with silicone grease, and grease it well, not just a little smear.
      3. Use flat head pellets.
      After doing all of these things, I'm finding that my P320 shoots really accurately (much better than my P250, I need to work on that) and hardly ever jams. It's gone from being a gun I hardly ever used because it was such a pain to being one of my favourites.

    This would have been a real neat gun if it had the same magazine as the P226, if this belt driven magazine is as awful as the P320 was then I ain't wasting my money on this gun.

    The only thing that puts me off the sigs is the cheap plastic mags.. there so flimsy. My kids toy machine gun is better grade plastic. And yes the triggers are horrible. Shame really.. As they could of and should of done better! Especially the price they come in.

    Well mate, you could be a tad more charismatic if you're intending to be entertaining but regardless, you've vid is extremely imnformative and I like that you value the features I do:
    * Good CO2 system
    * Good belt fed mag capacity
    * Metal construction
    * Build quality
    * Pellet, not BB
    * Velocity
    * Accuracy
    And you're UK too so more relevant to me. Subbed.
