That sounds great honestly. Let them ignore you as much as they want and press through the ride. Get your ticket and bounce.
I had my oral checkride yesterday and it was 100% questions that were based on my rote memory of everything in my lesson plans. He told me I wasn't allowed to look at my lesson plans.
That sounds like a shitty DPE. The lessons plans are there for you to reference to ensure everything is covered. Nobody can be expected to memorize 60 lesson plans
Thats crappy. I watched multiple cfi oral videos and basically made my own script for my checkride. Absolutely essential in my case
Everything I have seen says you are allowed to look it up. I’m not a CFI.

Thanks for the video. I have my CFI coming up in the next few weeks. I am a little lost as to where to get started. PowerPoint presentations are done. How can I get in contact with this CFI?
Buy lesson plans online and edit them to your teaching style. I just failed my CFII because the DPE said I used my lesson plans too much and didn’t teach.
That being said, learn from me. Edit them to your style and don’t rely on them.
I was really looking forward to my surprise guest appearance. 🤔
