Thax sir for sharing dosa recipeand thax for details in English as we don't understand your language sir would you tell me idli rice and dosa rice you written are they different as we are using basmati tukdi please suggest
U can use basmati tukdi instead of dosa rice, but idly rice is a different rice, using idly rice I'll give better taste and texture of dosa. If you couldn't able to find idly rice, u can proceed with the same basmati tukdi👍🏻
Well it's an Indian stone wet grinder, u may find it any Indian website to procure, or you may use food processor...(but there I'll be texture difference)
Perfect. Nice color. Fermented fluffy batter. Grinding fenugreek first to a fine paste. Unique. Thank you for the video. Will try this way onwards. Thanks again
Great video chief. Just now I watch your video. Now I am your new subscriber 😊 Good explanation. One small doubt chief, can I use this batter to make idli?
@@tamilcheff Thank you for the reply. I do agree that wet grinding is always better than mixer, but unfortunately I don't have one. Also Idli rice is the round corn rice, am I correct?
Thank you sooo much, keep supporting 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Sugar adds taste, colour and balance the fermentation process, so dosa tastes awesome even without any accompaniment ✌🏻
AFTER GRINDING METHI TO A SMOOTH PASTE SHOULD IT BE ADDED TO THE RICE AND DAL FOR GRINDING OR DO YOU ADD METHI PASTE TO THE GROUND RICE AND DALL BATTER BEFORE FERMENTING
I think u must focus on the fermentation process, (after overnight fermentation mix well and refrigerate immediately) if that's good, then increase bit more sugar to the batter and try, definitely you will find gold👍🏻☺️
Hello sir .why dosa is sticking to pan and not coming crispy and coming thick when i grind in grinder and in mixi they are coming good i not knowing what is wrong with me can u please suggest something ..
Hi, make sure you follow the recipe n ratio as mentioned in the discription, - Batter should not be over fermented, - Tawa must be seasoned properly - Add sliced onions, salt and oil in to the tawa and saute for some time - Then wipe the using half cut onion & drizzle some water - Follow above instructions to make crispy dosa...👍🏻
No issues you can add, while grinding the batter becomes warm, so leave the batter in warm place somewhere near gas stove, definitely the fermentation process I'll happen, give some extra hours...
@@tamilcheff idli rice Name and dosa rice Name for common shop person to understand I truly want to make dosa like you the dal I have split the whole dal is so hard I have expensive

Dosa rice - can be any raw rice, not steamed not par boiled... Also you can substitute the whole urad dal with split one no issues... But kindly wash enough before soaking
