  • Crispy Hotel Style Dosa | How to make Dosa Batter at Home | Perfect Crispy Dosa Batter | Dosa Batter Recipe | Tamilchef
    A dosa (also dosai or dosha or dose or 'thosai') is a thin pancake or crepe originating from South India. A fermented batter composed primarily of lentils and rice is used to make this dish. In appearance, it is somewhat similar to a crepe, but the flavors are generally savory. Dosas are one of the most common breakfast foods in south India, and they are always served with chutney and sambar. In this video, I explained how dosa batter and dosa preparation are prepared. Feel free to give this dosa batter recipe a try and leave your comments below.

    Pls give me answer.

    • @tamilcheff
      @tamilcheff  2 роки тому +1

      The amount of wet batter and the salt is extremely different ratio, for example the slat is 2TSP but the batter is 100TSP...
      So it's just add the seasoning to it, also the same quantity of sugar is added to activate the fermentation + while grinding the batter goes warmer than room temperature...
      So the fermentation process will happen as good as possible 😊😊😊
      My kind request you to try the recipe once, I hope you I'll not disappoint in fermentation process 👍🏻

    What is raw rice? Is it the rice we eat?

    • @tamilcheff
      @tamilcheff  3 роки тому

      All the rice are categorised into three...
      Raw - Paddy removed
      Steamed - Slightly steamed and paddy removed
      Par boiled - Usually big and harder rice are processed in this method and paddy removed.
      So we need use any raw rice which is not steamed or parboiled 👍🏻

      Not paddy removed, the skin(husk) removed. Paddy is whole grain with the brown skin(husk). The white seed inside which is separated is rice grain. Please no hard feelings.
