2024 Hyundai Elantra N | Is the 6MT Easy To Drive?

- I loved the Hyundai Elantra N so much I had to talk about it again. Since I am a beginner with Manual Transmission's I am able to talk how easy it is to drive and learn them as a beginner.
The Elantra N is a very easy manual transmission to learn the clutch response is easy to read for someone who does not daily drive manuals. It is also a massive help to have Rev match down shifting that system allows for smooth down shifting and doesn't force you to learn heal toe right away in order to be smooth.
The actual gear shifter is really easy to move and the throws are pretty short as well. We also have a reverse lock out so that you don't accidentally put the car in reverse when trying to shift into first.

was thinking about getting this as my first manual and this definitely helped influence me to actually get it now!
Really glad to have helped!
I've got DCT. Now looking for manual.
Highly recommend it!
Thank you and neatly done !! Have a Civic SI and thinking if its worth to move, eithrr Elantra N (stiffer ride?) or GTI (reliability?). Suggestions please?
Elantra N is closer to a Type-R competitor than a Civic Si competitor so...yeah you'll probably like the Elantra N more.
I would take the Elantra N I have drvien the STI the Golf R and the Civic SI and the Elantra N was still my number 1
Have you played around with those rev matching modes? Normal, sport and sport plus? How are they different. If the drive mode is in normal mode, can you put the rev matching mode to sport plus?
I used the normal rev matching in normal mode and I didn't notice a difference it was just a bit smoother and I think rev matching goes to just sport!
@technicallycars oh so I can't choose what rev matching modes I want depends on what drive mode it's in, right? So when it's in normal driving mode, it won't go into sports plus rev matching mode, am I correct? Or visa versa if the driving mode is in sport plus mode "N mode", it won't go into normal rev matching mode, am I right?
