Living With The 2025 Mazda CX 50 Hybrid
This is what its like to live with the 2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid
The Mazda CX-50 Hybrid is the best thing Mazda could have done to add a compact SUV hybrid to the line up since we now get the Mazda style with the Toyota reliability. The hybrid looks really similar to the gas engine which I think is really nice since the looks on the outside for the CX-50 are actually not bad its got the sort of sporty look that we are used to seeing from Mazda.
On the inside I for some reason could just not get comfortable in the seats they were more on the rough side. The good thing is that seating comfort might be different for everyone. The infotainment is really easy to use but here in 2025 I feel like its getting a bit dated I think its due for an update just to stay current. Overall the CX-50 is a great compact hybrid SUV that is a great to buy and own for a long time

This is what its like to live with and own the 2025 RAM 1500 Limited The new looking front end is a really welcome change but to the un trained eye you wouldn't really notice the changes to much. I loved the Hyundai BMW Z4 M40i so much I had to talk about it again. Since I am a beginner with Manual Transmission's I am able to talk how easy it is to drive and learn them as a beginner. The transmission of the Z4 has rev match downshifting which makes it a really easy transmission to learn for beginners since you don't have to worry about rev matching everything just takes car of itself an...

The top trim in canada is the GT. The GS-L is base.
I like that purple.
This one checks so many boxes, hoping it does very well !
I think we will see them everywhere soon!
A touch screen is useless if you have to reach halfway across the country to use it
True!
It has its own separate registration for another state lol
Just buy the RAV4 hybrid. It's the same system and you get better MPG, plus it will actually be worth something in a decade.
Canada here has to wait at least 2years to get one of those ☹️
I have a 23 G70 sports prestige RWD and it’s by far the best car I’ve ever had and I’ve had around 15-20 cars. I was on the fence between a 23 model or a 24 model and after seeing them side by side it was an easy choice cause the 23 model has way better wheels and better interior controls.
With the 12-inch display you have to get the group A equipment group for an extra 5k to get the 360-camera. When you go with the 14-inch display, that group gets added automatically along with the heads-up display and digital rear view mirror. The 2025 has increased 10k over the loaded 2021 limited I have, so I would say pass on the new rams at that price. Every truck should come with a 360-camera system in my opinion. I have driven trucks for years and still love using them. At the price of trucks today, there is no excuse to not have one.
You had me at spare tire. Also, nice to see a review in the West Island of Montreal!
Happy to represent the west!
Another review by an ill informed ignorant UA-camr or just a simple slip of the tongue?? It's not a Range Rover Defender!! It's a Land Rover Defender!!
The "infotainment system display" is not "small". It has plenty of room to show all the information you need. It is not HUGE like many cars that look like they have a TV stuck on their dashboard. The Alfa design is exceptional. It looks beautiful. It is totally integrated into the dashboard so that it looks like "intelligent design". Not like Dell Computer was tasked with supplying the largest display it could at the lowest cost. Cars these days go overboard in their lust for technology with very little concern for appearance or matching form and function. Alfa has the best infotainment layout on the market. The knob controls are also far superior to touch screen manipulation which is very distracting while driving. The reviewer is 100% wrong that the display is a reason for Alfa to discontinue the QV Stelvio and Giulia. That is completely ridiculous and particularly dumb statement for someone reviewing a performance vehicle like the Alfa.
There is a latch to pull the middle seat. It double folds forward so you can access the third row.
Great review!
Thanks trying desperately to drive another one!
I have both a lyric and an Acura the whole Android auto Apple carplay you do not need it in these cars because the whole interface is as if you have a tablet Google maps and Google music that's what I used to use Android Auto 4 you do not need it
Helpful video thanks!
I am glad you found it helpful!
I had the 2023 Limited and sold it for the 2025. I don't miss the V8 at all.
Didn't think I would hear from someone who didn't miss the V8
@@technicallycars The only thing I miss about it is the sound of the Hemi.
Hey bud. Missing Audio?
Looked at one but the back is just not up to par. If it had dual exhaust tips maybe that would help. But for the price point, I am getting something I do not have apprehension about the appearance of.
I’m just hitting 6k miles and I’ve never loved a car more. 3rd LR truck, 2nd Defender (last one no airbags) and the honeymoon hasn’t even begun to end…don’t see it happening. It’s the most wonderful vehicle I’ve ever owned/driven. Zero issues yet and I did add an extended warranty to 10 years 100k. The screen went dark when I was test driving it this past summer. Sales guy didn’t know anything about it but then another dude drive up in his new one with the same issue. Apparently when it’s 100 degrees F outside the screen can shut down until it cools. I can live with that. Only things I don’t dig are that I can’t have the temp set to “lo” w/out the a/c coming on, it has to stay at 59f if you just want cool, non-conditioned air. Stupid. Also irked at the visor that doesn’t go all the way back to block out perpendicular sun…why. Plenty of rod left. Stupid. I think it’s learning not to kick down when I go into S..I like to manage the trans in the mountains to prevent lugging and most of the time it’ll kick down when all I want is manual control. My Audi does this as well and my AMG doesn’t. Would love to know why they program it this way. Be well up there!
Should have kept the HEMI. Even if they are moving in a different direction they should have kept it as an option. I'm keeping both of mine!
My thoughts as well even if people had to pay a bit more for it im sure there are still some that would!
I think the price is actually pretty justified. You can easily pick up a loaded AT4X for ~52-54k which makes it cheaper than almost any similarly capable off-road car/truck being sold new today (cheaper than TRD-PRO 4Runners, Wrangler Rubicons, etc). The AT4X also comes stock with a lot of features these more expensive off-roaders don't...HUD, ventilated seats, BOSE sound system. If you don't want these things, you can always get an AT4 and upgrade yourself.
Certainly sporty vehicle and sick sounding exhaust.BUT under Stellantis. That being said, parts are eventually going to be difficult to source and expensive once warranty is out, plummeting value, assuming ferrari like parts cost, slim dealer network and 3rd party specialist shops… No thanks!
🇮🇹🇮🇹👍👍👍 Forza Italia!!!!
Annoying commentary
I’ve a 2024 Cross XLE for 6 months now and I really like it. The only cons would be accelerating. It seems kinda unresponsive for the first second or two. Anyway this is not a deal breaker for me. Overall I really like my car but if I had more $$$ I would probably get a Highlander because I would like more room.
Would you be making a video on the 2026 version?
If I can get my hands on it you bet!
I own one and I like the car, but it has had problems from the beginning. At leased it because I wasn’t sure after having an Acura for 18 years that I wanted to continue with the same car maker. I really wanted to own an electric car though, and after my MDX died I figured I would give this a try. I like how it drives, I like the look of it, but I have not been happy due to the constant issues! I had to drive my MDX 100,000 miles to get the same number of issues I’ve had with this zdx. Mainly the high voltage charging system has been acting up from the beginning, and I didn’t realize it. When I first got the car, it would drain battery pretty quickly, which didn’t seem right to me, but I had others telling me that it was normal. A couple of times the service high voltage system would come on, but it would quickly go away, so I thought it was just figuring itself out. I probably saw it like three times. Forgive me, I don’t know much about cars :-) so this past week I noticed I was up to almost 6000 miles which seemed a bit excessive. I started doing the math on the draining a couple of months ago and it’s only been seven months but I already have 6600 miles on my car when I only travel 15 miles a day! I finally figured it out. My car will stay on for an extra 2 to 3 hours roughly every time I turn it off. It’s way too early to be having problems with the brand new car!
I wonder why the US did not get the digital dash. I just bought one last week.
Seems to be a thing with Kia/Hyundai/Genesis where Canada gets things US does not
Small compact beautiful!
I'm not knowledgeable about cars, but why would a car with a CVT have paddle shifters lol
Do you know which is wider, and how much, the Bronco Raptor or F150 Raptor? And do you know how much shorter the Bronco Raptor is versus F150 Raptor, their lengths? MPG's?
Which do you think is better, and why,, the Ford Bronco Raptor or the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon? If there are choices, the larger 4 door versions. And which do you think has the more comfortable, quiet long distance highway drive?
I just purchased my UX 300h Prem. I love it! Downside from 2015 RX350 so I dont have the trunk space and thats the only downside BUT this is my sporty car!! Love the gas mileage! Im loving it. I did filled up at half tank which was 14.50. compare to 21.00🎉🎉🎉
II bought the Car in all black and really like it. I do wish it was a little smaller which is a personal issue and i sometimes wish i purchased the S Type but it is a fantastic vehicle.
Very informative video, thank you.
Kicks has an auto-locking feature, you don't have to touch the button when its engaged. If you want to make it as a reviewer you should do your homework.
Got a '25 in the Cyber Grey, but that black looks so good.
I actually haven't seen a grey one in the wild yet! good choice!
@technicallycars I haven't seen many N's at all here in Central Illinois. I've seen one each of the two blue colors.
Bullshit! It’s the same damn thing it has been except for the interior with minor, minor exterior changes.
Which is why its better than its ever been because the old ipad setup was not great
I'm really thinking red now.... was about to get white. Is it a loud bright red? Or a bit more deep and subdued?
I found it pretty loud when its clean so in the winter its a lot more subdued! Red is a great choice
I’m sure it was an error, but there currently isn’t a GV70 coupe 0:44 I like the Genesis G70 a lot. A bit small for me, but boy does it look good!
Yes I meant the GV80 Coupe!
Is there any documentation to show Alchemi owners what number of the 1000 they have?
I would think the dealer might have that info! Would have been cool if they put it on a plate inside or something
It makes me mad U.S doesn’t have sensors or swayed back seats😡😡😡😡😡
Crazy that Canada gets things the US does not!
Would love to rev this car without spining.my 2016 kia forte sucks.now it does.abused the car sucks.need to.shift a mnuel in a real.car
Just got my 2025 i5 EDrive 40. LOVE IT! I got Tanzanite II Blue. Traded my 2022 G80 M3. MSRP 73k for my i5 and with all the incentives and rebates, it’s a no brainer over anything Tesla!
It is truly an EV that feels and looks like a normal car!
Seems like a nice step up from the Honda Prologue!
Ford and the Explorer has been hit with quality issues, they need to resolve this issue
your audio levels are extremely low on this video
My 22' ST Line lease ends this year in November. I want this color right here!!!!!
It looks even better in person!
The car is made and designed in Korea of course the quality is going to feel better.
Just test drove an Ultra trim with AWD. 422 horsepower - stupidly quick! 0-60 in 3.4 seconds.
That is serious speed from such a small SUV
I want to get one really soon!!
