My money is on that butterfly nut needing to be 1 notch tighter, and when you replaced the plate you cranked her down better.. Mark the nut with a scratch, and the plate with a scratch so you can align them when removing and reinstalling. Then count your rotations so you restore it to the same specs. That plate to me looks like it still have plenty of life left on it. Hit it with some sand paper to increase it's friction but otherwise it looks fine. Cheers
Im at the same place. Bike runs fine when going but does not go from a dead stop. I was going to start tightening the flower nut, but after watch ing, I'm trying to restore some friction by drilling a tiny bit into all those square holes on the clutch plate or marking some grooves in it with a heavy file. I can always just buy the plate. Thanks for the video.
Question I'm trying to get my started but it won't let me paddle...I'm pulling the clutch lever all the way back and it's still won't engage.what can I do
Kinda having this problem. I replaced the pads it was good for a week then as the pads wore out a little it needed adjusting again and again but it got to the point it was good to ride. One day I was riding and realised I was getting uneven clutch wear. The only thing I can see that needs replacing is that friction plate since around the edge there’s a spot where it’s smoothed out where it’s got so hot most likely. So do u think replacing that friction plate will solve my issue? If so please send a link to where I can get one
and after I put the chain on it won’t roll the tire when I try to roll the bicycle the back wheel just locks up and what’s to slide on the ground how can I fix that and when I flip the bike over and move the wheel it wants to act like it’s going to start but when I put it on the ground it just skid on the ground
@@ihmaelx9187 A couple things you could try: 1) be sure you're getting a decent amount of speed before you release the clutch 2) check your wired connections as a faulty connection to the CDI is a likely culprit to a no start/no sound issue 3) make sure your spark plug connector is good and making adequate contact with the plug (mine came broken out of the box and I had pretty much the same issue you're describing. A cheap (and much better) replacement can be found at your local auto parts store.
I got a comment maybe able to help me okay mine's different I'll pull in the clutch and the handle thing up there and I'll push the motor while the bicycle Ford and backwards and will not out gauge where the tire just turned freely where I ain't trying to turn the motor would you know anything about that or if you knew somebody to send me if you send me a link on it or something I appreciate it thank you have a good day sir
Dude thanks I was trying to figure out so many things and never thought about the clutch plate because had just gotten it thank you!
