Dropping a mixtape offered me a couple opportunities. To share some of my favorite unreleased collaborations from the past few years, also to make a hard statement about where I saw myself in the world.
It feels grounding to me. Its like, "I exist here." LOL! no but actually, I love these songs and these artists so much. So, Foraging Wild Mushrooms is kind of my lil tribute to the underground that inspired and nurtured me.
What's it got to do with mushrooms? Well, nothing, besides I kinda said so. Foraging mushrooms has been part of my life since I could walk, and I found myself returning to the forest constantly during the pandemic. I wanted to share this passion of mine with the artists, my friends, who I'd worked on the tape with.
We skipped shooting music videos and performing songs and all got together outside, adjusted our perspectives together, and foraged for wild mushrooms.

im a minute and a half in and im already crying, he is clearly doing what he loves and his friends have the most cool and supportive vibes. it seriously fills me with so much joy that fish gets to peruse his genuine interests, and im really greatfull he chooses to share them with us.
The tracks are fucking awesome. This is just the best thing ever. made with love and friendship. i cant wait to fall asleep holding the vinyl every night

You're so fucking awesome bro, I know people might have told you but your music helps. It's a blessing. I really hope you can achieve all your dreams Fish. I'm an aspiring musician myself and we all have Big dreams because we have something special that we feel we should share with people. The message is that Even though we are aware of the darkness in the world and that things are not ok, we still have the hope because we know that love is the answer. We know that love is the key to break all boundaries and to unite people to make the world a better place. That's why music is so imporant. That's why you're so important to us Fish narc.
