- You know the rules: Fish Narc from GothBoiClique pulled up to Northern Light Records in Brooklyn, tied a camo bandana over his eyes, and pulled three random pieces of vinyl. Rockets “Space Rock” / “Don’t Be Sade” 12-inch single, The Weather Girls “Success” 12-inch single, and a personal favorite, Minnie Ripperton ‘Perfect Angel’ LP. “I used to make out in high school to this,” Fish Narc said. The music mastermind behind hits by GBC all-stars Lil Peep, Tracy, Horse Head and Mackned, Fish Narc aka Official has crafted the signature sound, blending influences of emo rock and trap. After some needle-dropping adventures, he decided to start with a lovely Minnie Ripperton piano figure and a simple drum pattern then launched off from there. 1. Use multiple samples in more than one beat
2. Play an actual instrument and implement it into a beat
3. Seem genuine and humble, and not act like an arrogant ass.

@@kaydimes9368 There's a very long list. A couple more of my favourites off the top of my head are Nedarb Nagrom and Charlie Shuffler. Nedarb in particular produced a lot of the most iconic Peep tracks, including all of the California Girls EP and Castles 1.
