Hope that 6100 wakes up once it’s tuned and muffler cleaned out. And of coarse ported. Hopefully you do one mod at a time but we realize there is only so much a guy can do. Don’t know anything about the 6100 but you can cut a slot on the jets of an ea5000 with a dremel by just popping the cover 👍🏼
Better hurry if you do because they’ve been discontinued. I’ve been impressed enough with their ea5000 and 7900 that I used them all summer out in the middle of nowhere Alaska where it’s impossible or extremely expensive to repair or replace.
I’ve always heard that the echos gain better. Makita leaves very little in comparison to gain. I’d honestly take a 590 or 620 but I’d run a makita if it was cheap enough. I do however keep hearing that makita is going to quit making saws very shortly.
@@johnbelovsky1844 I’d have a hard time not buying a 590 because of the pricing if I was looking for a new saw. My dad is wanting a bigger saw but he doesn’t want to leave stihl. I can’t get him convinced that an echo 590 costs the same as a 271 but is almost twice the saw lol
Looking forward to seeing updates on this 6100 and hoping to see more content on the 562

We really need a review on the harbor freight Portland 42cc 18-in gas powered chainsaw! There's not a single review yet of that thing
That 5600 runs sweet👍🏻 I'd love to someday add a dolly/makita to my fleet but wouldn't get one to make a living with.

Congrats on 9K buddy!!!! 👍🏻 you deserve it and do a great job.
It all depends on the operator man . On the 6100 he didn't flow the saw as well as it supposed to.
Cuál consideras mejor fabricada de fabrica Makita 5600 vs 6100 y por qué.saludos de Chile.

I have a 590 and a 6100 both stock and 20 bars. The 6100 is a tick faster until you get into 20+ timber then the 590 has a bit more pull

They stopped some 2 years ago.
How does the ported husqy 357/359 compare to the ported 5900 and 590
Lookin forward to the results of the 6100. It may come to life better than the 5800! Only time will tell!
You should run the Makita 5600 against your proyama 68cc( really 62cc) I would love to see how it does against it.
The 5600 is long gone, sold to a subscriber.
👍👍good stuff!!
Ive watched multiple 562vs 6100 stock very comparable.
