I’ve found that even the cheaper Poulan’s that I’ve pulled out of the trash bins are just in need of a couple of little strips of echo fuel line or some real Tygon fuel line…unfortunately there’s a bunch of fake Tygon fuel line bundles on eBay these days. You have compression, fuel and spark… 9 times out of 10 it’s an impulse or fuel line or something else like that… learning to do a vacuum and pressure test to make sure that you have good seals and you can also test a carburetor to make sure that it’s working properly… learning to diagnose a problem is what’s really important… there’s a few basic steps to finding the problem. That easy start being easier for the older fella is fantastic! I’m hoping that it’s a great saw for him…! Awesome! I’d have sent $10 bucks towards it being a gift for him… that’s the great stuff in life!!! A caring community of like minded dudes!!!
I love the Chinese saws, great cheap platforms to mod, and spare parts are shockingly cheap.. I love that I can get a new p/c with gaskets to my door for 20$ Canadian, and on the small 45cc one I've had to replace impulse line.. They cheap out on the strangest stuff
I have two wermars I bought for 20 bucks they had left the chain break on and tore up the cluster cover it's useful but it's ugly duckling and I have one I gave $40 for You have had a video about porting I don't remember if you had numbers on these or not would you mind sharing them if you do my first time porting these would be a good start
Well I've got impulse line issue loose fitting. what's your input on downsizing a impulse line size I have a Chinese saw with a 372 carb and the original saws impulse line fits real loose on my Chinese 372 carbs
Iknow what u mean.i have over 20 saws myself and keeping them all fresh and ready to use is a task.there is such a thing as too many.and i dont want shelf princesses
@@novicelumberjack Was kind of an older video so didn't really think I'd get a response but thanks! 👍 I think I have a clone of a clone LOL. It's red but looks just like the Wemars 52cc. I did just a little cylinder work on it and it runs pretty decent.
The advise to start with something that runs good first also applies to old cars or anything else like that. If you don't know how it should run then you might not know something is wrong and just think it's a hot piece of garbage.
But i always get things that aren't running but has before then I'll play with those things until they do run i won't say no if they're wanting to give me a free saw or weed eater i had so many different brands of free weed eaters i gave them all to a other guy because i already had other stuff i needed to do on my things and that's what i did plus i didn't need that many weed wackers

Welp..For a broke disabled dude in desperate need of dropping six big-ish cedars on a very tight budget..
Thank you for all the videos on this saw.
Try the salem master 6220H
😞 Bye, bye Wemars ☹💔
Pssst... A 62cc is already on order. Nothing to worry about mate!
@@novicelumberjack I've got two of unbranded 62's. Love them. I just wish the handlebars weren't tinfoil.
@@novicelumberjack Hot damn, I was hoping you'd buy another one to try out.👍
@@timothybyrom5560 I've thought about filling the handle with epoxy to stiffen it.
@@novicelumberjack i was actually wondering if you were going to get another wemars saw
I never seen any of those saws only stihl husqvarna poulan those red ones and mikita and a blue one can't remember the name
I’m always looking for an excuse to use my chainsaw. I love after a windy storm. Can just start cutting branches.

I missed Dumber than the show trivia but not a big decision. Chainsaw or Trivia. It's a no Brainerd. Thanks

I like to buy junk stihl and fix them up with Ebay parts. Make them run like champs
Let the Clone Wars begin!
