Monica also did most of the cleaning and cooking. So yes, another reason why I never liked Rachel. Her spoiled brat attitude flared up in this scene.
Wasn't there a scene where Monica told people to be kinda hush hush about the fact they lived in the apartment so I think she wasn't doing it exactly by the book. It did feel bit assholish to kick your friend out just like that. At least help her find a new apartment first. I wouldn't want to be a friend with someone who just kicked me out. Especially since they didn't really have any reason to kick her out, the room was left empty.
