I like how Chandler usually makes fun of the others , but he also makes fun of himself dealing with such circustances 😂
It’s his defense mechanism
Hi, i'm Chandler. I make jokes when i'm unconfortable!
Have you notice Chandler teases people in the moment when they do something daft. But phoebe is actually horrible to him and about him
Matthew Perry did that in his book a lot! He really was so much like Chandler.
For most people it's a show. For me it's a gift from God that helped me get through the darkest phase of my life. Friends gave me my life back. It may sound like an exaggeration but it's really not
I understand you. I like friends a lot ❤
A gift from god that removed all of the black people from New York, huh?
Friends does not hold up well, sorry to tell you.
Woke shows can't compare.
It helped me through a horrible time in my life.
I understand cuz same happened for me
“Don’t worry we will find you someone else”, Phoebe cracks me up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂💀
She's a bad friend.
@@darkpisces8125she didnt de it on porpuse and she knew monica was totally in love with chandme
Not funny at all. It was so mean. Imagine someone sabotages your relationship, then teases you the same way - would you find it funny?
It’s a show not real life relax 😎
Monica really was the glue that held the Friends together, always making sure that the relationships got through tough patches ❤
Why is a control freak who wants to have sex with her brother the glue?
by sabotaging them?

"Luckylly the guy she's settled with can't hear what you're talking".
I can relate. Sometimes, people can be so insensitive. (Or maybe they do it in purpose to hurt your feeling)

This person right here answering you just did the same with her comments!🤦🏻♀️
It's weird how much they changed Chandlers dynamic with the girls. In the earlier seasons he was so close with them. He was always doing something with Phoebe, had random lunches with Rachel, getting their nails done, always talking about his relationships ... he was "one of the girls" more than Joey was and they both clearly valued him as a friend. After he got together with Monica, they would always subtly (or not) imply that Monica could do better (he's literally good looking, smart, caring, funny and with stable career, so idk why). His only plot with Phoebe is buying the ring and his only plot with Rachel is the cheesecake. It's like he's suddenly not their friend, but just Monicas husband they don't even like that much. I really hated that change
Edit: I just realized how much this could be fixed if they actually DID have Phoebe ask him to walk her down the isle, rather than "Oh, Joey isn't an option, Ross isn't either so I guess it has to be Chandler" but they didn't. Just like they made sure to tell us that he didn't actually ASK HER to help him with the ring. She just happened to see him, so he had to tell her. I miss the time when they would sing "My Endless Love" together
it could be jealousy
Yes I hated that. Escpeilly since Matthew himself was saying how he couldn’t believe people bought that he could marry someone as beautiful as Courtney Cox. He severely underestimates himself and so does everyone else. Because I honestly don’t see the thing he’s lacking that making it so comical to be with Monica. It is a huge reason why I started to dislike Phoebe In the later seasons, she was more sweeter and funny about other stuff but she just starts ripping into him and their marriage everytime she got the chance. Even Rachel and Joey too. To me it’s really not that funny to push him out the door when he’s saying goodbye to his wife like he hasn’t been everyone’s bff for almost a decade. And bringing someone to sabotage his marriage just for the fun of it.
Nice observation. They changed a lot of things. I think they also made Joey a lot dumber and Ross a lot more neurotic. While in earlier seasons Ross was this Harlequin-isque romantic lead and Joey was an unattainable Hunk.
@tigerroaring Good eye 👁. I noticed that as well. It's so obvious Rachel and Phoebe were jealous. Rachel was always dating toxic men, and Phoebes relationships lasted about as long as Joey's one night stands. Monica and Chandler basically had what they both wanted.
@@tigerroaringThey also made Monica more of a caricature. In the early seasons Monica was calm, classy, elegant and pretty. She was like a mother figure to Rachel teaching her how to function and she was the glue for the whole group. As the show continued and she got together with Chandler she became louder, more bossy, annoying and over the top. They were a healthy couple but also boring to watch, Chandler stopped being funny and became a bit dull and overpowered by Monica.
The best moment in this whole storyline is later on in the episode when Monica asks if Chandler believes in soulmates and Chandler answers “no, but I’m sure ‘to-MAH-toes’ does,” imitating this guy’s accent.
I miss the old Phoebe from earlier seasons who was so sweet and thoughtful and was never so insensitive to Chandler
She never really like chandler or ross
@@lillyess385 she definitely liked Ross
@@robertodimas7429Yeah. Hell, she and Ross almost hooked up in that flashback episode.
Phoebe being insensitive to Chandler in early season too like in episode she work with Chandler and said everyone hate him, so yeah she always been that random even in earlier season
Yea, Idk why she always hated Chandler
We don’t talk enough about how good of a sister Monica is to Ross..
I love how he asks Rachel
"You dont think there's a guy better suited for Monica than me, do you!?😊"
And she just gives him a once over and continues talking to Phoebe!😂😂
P: you dont even believe in soulmates
C: i believe in tall, handsome stangers who hit on my wife

Phoebes ring collection & necklace is so good & trending😍
the funniest part to me is Phoebe saying "i didn't know you were going to be here." at the coffee shop. their second home.
LOL you left out the house of cheese scene that is the most hilarious to me... Chandler defeated expression in priceless 😂
I never realized that Ross has the nicest apartment of all of them.
How dare u?? monica’s is better
Obviously it's monica apartment

Don literally looks like Richard
Girl's gotta eat 😂
Phoebe is the realest 😂
“Why Vermont?”
“He says he wants to leave the country. “
LMAO
Phoebe: *Don't worry, we'll find you someone else* 😂😂😂
That was extremely cruel, not funny at all.
I think I learnt the true meaning of ‘girls gotta eat’ here!!
I really think she just talking about food😭
Love love love Phoebe! But this was honestly one of her worst moments. Pushing another guy onto Monica whilst her and Chandler were dating AND in front of Chandler smiling the entire way
There were many scenes and moments like this is in the show where it genuinely seemed like Phoebe was trying to break up Monica and Chandler's relationship with zero explanation given. That always pissed me off
@@superjackster0165when she 1st finds out about Monica and Chandler she stated that he pretty much got lucky n that she could do alot better, that instance showed she never valued Chandler as a person, probably didn't really see him as a friend tbh
@@rayrome7244 What’s weird is that Phoebe was never that cruel to Chandler in the earlier seasons. In Seasons 1-4, they got along just fine and had some good moments together. But then starting around Season 5, it suddenly felt like Phoebe absolutely despised Chandler’s mere existence.
If I was Chandler, I’d tell Phoebe “if my marriage with Monica fails because of you, I’ll make sure you die alone with me” especially after the “and you’re still married to him?” Comment.
If you haven't figured it out yet, Phoebe's character was Genius. She cared for her friends, but she treated them like lab rats to prove a point. This segment is a perfect example of that.
she was a terrible friend to chandler.
@@maelguiraud3568 Nope, Phoebe was being a very good friend. She did this because Chandler said he did not believe in soulmates. So, Phoebe hard to prove a point to Chandler.
@@theylied1776 she constantly mock monica for being with him and clearly has the lowest opinion on him out of all 6 friends.
@@maelguiraud3568 Monica & Chandler are both filled with self doubt. Self doubt is the main reason why Monica has OCD with her food and cleaning, and Chandler's self doubt is that he believes that he's not good enough. That comes from his father's abandonment. This is why through the series Chandler kept avoiding promotions at work. He never thought he was good enough.
Phoebe removes that doubt through subtle manipulation. If you watch this episode, you will see it. I can write an entire paper about Phoebe.
When you look back at it, Phoebe was really the worst member of the group. She was manipulative and constantly mean. Homegirl stole someone's cat, and Ross was the only one who had the guts to stand up to her. Instead of realizing he was right, she gaslit him into apologizing. That example is just ONE of many.
there all so lucky to have friends that will never leave them
I could relate to them, it made me feel better about myself seeing them have similar situations as I experienced
I gotta say, sometimes I really got the impression that Phoebe secretly hated Chandler...
It was quite obvious 😂 there were quite a few times were she referenced it
and ROSS :) Remember the dream :)
@@shivijain7081 definitely Ross 😂😂😂
Nah, Ross and Phoebe had a bond. That's why Ross was so upset when she hated him after the dream.
@@tinmendez4121 Plus, Phoebe actually occasionally said nice things about Ross. I don't recall her EVER speaking well of Chandler...
By that point Phoebe became pretty mean, Ross way to insecure, Joey lost his IQ and Monica became ultra selfish and obsessive. Only Rachel and Chandler could escape the fladerization of the show
Eh, I disagree with some of that. Yes, Phoebe became a bully and Monica and Joey turned into caricatures of themselves, but Ross became more self aware and learned to be laugh at himself. Rachel did change but I think you can argue that Chandler had the best development out of EVERYONE.
too*
Rachel only developed in that she became bitchier than before. Look at the way she frequently treated Chandler and the mean comments she often made to Monica while hanging out at her apartment and eating off her. She was derisive about Monica and Chandler’s relationship yet had no mature relationships of her own and despite earning well, couldn’t even bring herself to rent or buy her own place. She continued hanging out at Joey or Ross’s apartments like a teenager yet felt entitled to be mean to Chandler and Monica who were trying to live like adults. I feel they did Monica’s character an injustice. She and Chandler were the anchors and they shouldn’t have messed with her so much. Phoebe was worse than ever and Ross never really improved in any way. I still love the show and never tire of watching it but certain aspects grate on me and I guess that’s because life is like that in many ways. We have all had or have the bitchy friend, the bully, the whiner in our lives.
@@amberinezaki969 I agree with damn near everything you're saying, especially about Monica and Chandler. In the beginning, Monica was one of the best characters, but after she got with Chandler, she became a total caricature of herself. I disagree with your points about Ross though. If anything, I think he learned from his mistakes. Fans forget that he saved Monica and Chandler's wedding. Chandler would've jilted her at the altar, if it hadn't been for him.
They made Chandler stupid as the series went on. His irony was pathetic! He became so insecure because of Monica!
Moving to Vermont to leave country, LMAO such a Joey thing to say..
He looks like young Richard tho.
oh my! I've seen the thing a gazzilion times, but I don't remember the Vermont scene, nor the 'Joey might be a virgin', which is hillarious!
Phoebe at her rudest and most insensitive, this and when she pushes Chandler out the door on his way to Tulsa.
I know! This isn’t the Phoebe we know and love! What happened to the old Phoebe from earlier seasons who was so sweet and caring, especially towards Chandler? Making her more mean and insensitive does not make her more funny at all.
@@AkaEagle1975 Yup such a contrast to when they sing Endless Love together 😂
@@AkaEagle1975 They really destroyed Phoebe's character as the show went on. Around Season 5, she became a lot more cruel, sadistic, constantly tried to break up Monica and Chandler's relationship, had no filter, and repeatedly insulted all the characters (especially Ross and Chandler) with zero regards for how that made them feel. Whenever someone finally had the nerve to stand up and call her out for her actions, Phoebe would immediately play victim and act like the person calling her out was the bad guy. I want to know where all these changes came from because that is not who Phoebe's character was at all in the earlier seasons
@@superjackster0165 Yeah I watched TOW Everyone Finds out yesterday which is S5 and she said she (Monica) could do better (than Chandler). I said to the TV seriously Phoebe? Trying to break them up since before they know we know they know! Lol. Season 1 phoebe would never do that, she had her fair share of weird guys too like Roger, PHD guy and Parker. I totally LOVED it when two of my friends got together you should just be more supportive of them really. 😊😅
@@liamb8644 Let’s not forget her reaction when she saw them through the window. She was shouting their names in horror for whatever reason and then yelled “MY EYES MY EYES!!” at the top of her lungs as if she was seeing a dead body getting their organs harvested. She hated their relationship from minute one. Yet, she was a die hard supporter of Ross and Rachel. Seriously, where did this cruel side of Phoebe come from?
Phoebe is hilarious , but why did it always seem as though she was trying to lowkey break up Monica and Chandler's relationship the entire time, while she was always very supportive of Ross and Rachel's?😬
I'm wondering the same thing. It really seemed like she absolutely despised their relationship
@superjackster0165 I felt the same way!! Like homegirl really rooted for the toxic couple I.E. Ross and Rachel over the stable one, aka Monica and Chandler.
@@rachelmartin5187because she came from a broken home herself. she probably feels toxic relationships are "right" because that's all she knew. all of her "wisdom" is BS but its all rooted in how she grew up
The writing and the gags in this show are just brilliant.
Monica ❤she is actually the mother of the group 😍😍
I enjoyed the Phoebe character. She was loopy, and I loved that. She made me laugh so much.
Literally everyone I know who watches the show thinks she’s the worst
Phoebe always make me laugh 😂
I'll get you someone 🤣
"Sure, coz women don't like Joey, I think he's a virgin". 😂🤣
I hate Phoebe in this episode. After she found out about Monica and Chandler she's been nothing but mean to Chandler and is always finding a chance to disrespect their relationship. She's the only one who does it.
This is so true. I sometimes think she's jealous of their relationship.
I hate phoebe most of the time
Imagine if Chandler married kathy
And Monica ended up with this guy
don't worry we'll find you someone else 😆😆😆
To be fair, the British guy looks a bit like Richard, only without mustache. No wonder Monica liked him. She had probably some flashbacks :).
She was soooo basic...the british, "cultured", older men stereotype... Offcourse... I mean, Chandler should hace dropped her, and Phoebe for being an ass (and full of 💩)...
I really don't like how they belittle Chandler so much in the later seasons and make him constantly feel as if he's not good enough
i believe in tall handsome strangers 🤣
The "Flanderization" was already strong in the characters in these episodes
Monica was the single mother raising all the others 😂
I know i may sound biased, but this is the show where each n everyone say their dialogues so seemingly, everything becomes organice. Other comic series when characters talk tk each other, you know there is going to be a pause and someone will say something funny.. but here everything, every dialogue is so organic.. i love this show ❤
Phoebe is so random 🤣🤣🤣
My biggest fear. After I get married of course…
Of course I haven't even managed to successfully find someone to marry so I guess I don't have to worry about this quite yet 😕🤦♂️
He has a right to feel wierd but not angry like joey cant control the way he feels but he clearly showing he has control on the way he acts and he a loyal friend and the way he feels about Rachel was something real
Joey should have never gone out with Rachel, who else agrees?
phoebe so evil man 😭
Yeah, evil but genius. Evil genius.
I love it how throughout season 5 to 10 they still think Monica could’ve done better than chandler 😂😂 my poor Chan Chan
That honestly bothered me so much. I really wish the show had provided an explanation for why Phoebe absolutely despised Monica and Chandler's relationship but was an absolute die hard Ross and Rachel shipper
@@superjackster0165I think Phoebe was kinda jealous of their relationship. No explanation but Mondler were just awesome couple in the whole series.

Monica is the Glue that keeps this group together.
Fun clip, but why was the middle scene included? It was a completely different part of the episode.
What season ,episode is this?
Dude i watched this show all seasons 14 times

I think its heartbreaking that rachel looks down on chandler although they are close friends
She does not. Part of friendship is being able to roast each other without being mean-spirited.

Nanny Fine.
You didn't include my favorite Phoebe line! "They both want to live in a house of cheese! I don't know how you fight that."
Luckily Monica doesn't believe in soul-mates either.
Sun dried tomatoes are amazing. I disagree with them completely, we should be sprinkling those things in more. Only reason they don't is because it's on the higher price as far as ingredients goes lol.
“I swear I didn’t know you guys would be here” …… at the coffee house
Phoebe was so mean to Chandler bringing that guy to meet Monica. And the most chocking is that she was thinking it was so right what she was doing.
I can’t be the only one who thinks this guy looks like a younger version of Richard
Yeah which is probably why Phoebe thought they were soul mates
It's 20 years later and I still don't know what's their problem with sun-dried tomatoes.
there is no problem. its when someone states their opinion as some universal fact.

this is incomplete , the best part is cheese house in France 😂
Man Joey is such a good friend only worrying about how Ross is taking things
yea. i wouldn't give a damn personally.
Joey was the best, I don't like Ross, he even stole Charlie from Joey and Chandler dated a fuel Joey dates and Joey was fine with it and here we have Ross who doesn't care about anyone, I found the Ross and Rachel thing really toxic
I was with them on the cheese talk. Oh my, how I love cheese. ❤️ 🧀

Where are subtitles....😢
In the 10-years of Friends episodes, this has to be Chandler's worst hair style.
He's looking ropey here for sure. Glad he recovered.
His college hairstyle was the worst
what? it looks pretty good. his earlier hairstyles were super generic that most guys have, or at least guys who don't have much hair
As a kid you enjoyed the show and the characters. But as an adult you start to see how, Pheobe was really a terrible friend, she used her past to gaslight her friends all the time, she always attacked her friends' insecurities(this clip is the perfect example) she always put them in very awkward positions too.

Here cause I am feeling anxious and scared
I don’t approve Phoebe’s actions here at all
What I really don’t like about this scene is how Rachel and Phoebe are so incredibly insensitive to Chandler. When Chandler asked, “don’t think there’s someone out there better suited for Monica than me, do ya?” Rachel unsubtly seemed to disagree and dodged his question. Seriously, Rachel? You don’t think Chandler is good enough for Monica? He was the only guy who kept a successful relationship with her by this point and had actually grew out of his fear of commitment to ask for her hand in marriage her for crying out loud! Also why were Rachel and Phoebe discussing Monica’s soulmate right in front of Chandler, with Rachel even quoting, "It's a shame they never had a chance to meet". Are you, kidding guys?! You don’t know how incredibly insensitive your being towards one of your best friends?! And who are you two to judge since you both failed to establish successful relationships by this point? Monica and Chandler are clearly happy together and you guys suggesting that there is a man better suited for Monica with Chandler in the room is not nice and is just a betrayal to one of your close friends.
Sometimes Phoebe and Rachel can be so insensitive; this isn’t the only time. Rachel brings up Judy’s comment that she’s “the daughter she never had” right in front of Monica, and then when Monica reacts in shock, Phoebe repeats the words, drilling the pain into Monica even further. What kinds of friends do that????
It’s a sitcom. They have to have storylines.
