Hi.
My friends just went out.
He didn't hear any trashing in the engine either. Was there valve/piston damage? I'm hoping they may have just been far enough on the upstroke to where they didn't get slapped.

supposedly in the 1.7L the pistons are carved in a way to not damage the valves but i’m not sure how true that is i’d check them anyway

Engine has low compression

Did you go to this particular car and run a compression test? If not then dont act like you know because you really dont.

@@leftyflipper2346 by the sound of the crank you can tell there’s no compression. Not that hard to figure out
