    I'm animal based. I agree. I think seed oils may be the worst thing that's happened to humans. Eat naturally and ancestrally. Our ancestors understood how to properly prepare foods and ate naturally without excluding anything.

      Yes, you are right!!!! Seed oils are the most toxic shit ever. I ditched them in 2015, it's key for metabolic health.
      Today, I can eat all macros in balanced amounts while Feeling amazing.
      On a low PUFA diet your body can metabolise sugars so much better. 👌🏼👏🏻

    *Personally, I consider myself a Carnivore, despite having small amounts of Strawberries every second day and 1-2 potatoes on the weekends because I eat 1-1.5kg (2.2-3.5lbs) of Meat (beef, kangaroo and fish) daily.* I don't plan on introducing any other foods, except occasionally some home made buns with no sugar or seed oils to have burgers. In terms of weekly consumption I'm minimum 90% animal-based and I would still classify that as a Carnivore diet.

    Sorry but I disagree with eating any Plants! I went from 4 to 8 bowl movements a day to only 1 to 3 and with a lot less volume, which can only be due to the extra junk in plants! Your body can not digest plants as much as meats! I am very upset at 72 that I have been lied to all my life about a "healthy diet"! Also fiber kills your gut, fiber is not good for humans! You need to do more homework on this subject!!! I just whish I had billions of dollars so I could afford to sue everyone for all the lies throughout my life. My father was a Carnivore all of his short life. Got Colon cancer at 58 and died at 62. Don’t tell me this nonsense. You’re lucky you were not on a Carnivore diet all of your life. Just look at the “original” modern Carnivore Atkins who died at 72 years old….. he had coronary-artery disease that had progressed in the final years of his life with a new blockage, a procedure to remedy the blockage, and that he was taking heart-rhythm medication. He died from a fall however his diet got him Coronary artery disease. It says in the Bible to eat Fruits Plants Meat Bread. Genesis 1:29: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for the meat…Im a proud Southern Baptist and put my faith over God than any UA-camr Scientist or Doctor. Face it we are Omnivores.

    Hey Nico. I've a question and I'm willing to pay for an answer. (Idc about scientific proof just your opinion).
    I seem to have a particular muscle in a longterm spasm/cramp which can't release(For MONTHS, can't find the reason via medical field). Its hugely impacting my quality of life and I'm insanely desperate trying to fix it. Overall my muscles are like "stiff".(Body isn't that much anymore, doing yoga/eccentric loading for a year now).
    For example me hanging on monkey bars doesn't give me a spasm in my fingers, but it's very difficult to straighten them right after as example. Just as if I come out of a weird pose, or even a too long car ride. It likes takes awhile to supply blood or give this flexibility feeling back. And that seems to be an overall around thing. I don't get spasm/cramps otherwise tho ever, idk what I'm missing. I eat a very varied nutrientdense diet. I use the sauna/cold sea swimming regularly. Move 6-10h per day. I've tried basically all supps and adaptogens but can't figure out what my body is missing. Maybe sth keeping me in a inflammatory state but I also can't seem to figure out what that is. I got damaged by meds once which left my parasympathetic state quite whacky. But still trying to find a solution or any potential advice

    Can you tell me why the high animal based diet is more acidic than other diets when matched gram for gram with protein? Because a proper carnivore diet is about having base protein, then increasing fat for the energy.

    Could you do the explanation effects of iodized and non-iodized salt? I find it intriguing, from a personal experience. For some reason, I don't tolerate well sea salt (not bleached, not iodized, high quality). It just "attacks" my joints.
    I use Himalayan pink rock salt that is iodized. What I've noticed is, whenever I add this salt, food seems palatable to the point I'd eat more than I actually need. (I've checked if the brand has added something and no, definitely).
    On the other hand, when I use Himalayan Pink rock salt not iodized, I eat in normal amounts, food is not palatable, never overeat. It doesn't give me that call for addictive behavior. Could it be an issue with a source of added iodine?
    With iodized salt, there is more stiffness in the joints, sweating, body retaining liquids. But, it's far better for digestion and concentration. What one could do? I've searched everywhere. My diet is low carb animal-based, very much seafood in the Mediterranean, pretty similar to what I hear from yours except, I don't eat starchy vegs like potatoes or grains. I eat like this since my 19, I'm 34 now. Pretty active and muscular slim, higher protein (animal source).
    I'll experiment one whole week without iodized salt and hope you'll consider explaining this in futures videos.
    Thank you immensely!
    P.S. Apologies for an extended comment😏

    Hi. Thanks for the video. I would appreciate it if you could help me through this change a little. I am a 23 YO, female student. Have been on animal based for about 1 month. And already feeling the changes in my mood and my energy level. I am just having problem navigating fruit. At the beginning ,I have eliminated everything except for bananas and now that I found I don't have any specific reaction to others, I have also added strawberries and blueberries, and honey. And maybe once a week a fruit bowl when I'm out and about. So my problem this; I sometimes eat 2 bananas and some berries with one tablespoon honey (maybe two 😅) a day, am I having too much fruit? Would it lead to weight gain further down the road? Or should I just go about this with my instinct ?

    Do you take your carbs only the days you workout? After workout or before?
    I eat low carb / Keto 3 years ago and I don’t feel I thrive in my workouts…and in general I don’t feel very energized… I am not overweight but I could lose a couple or three Kg… and there is no way I lose any fat. I am considering adding more carbs to do better workouts to see if I am to improve..
    Have you seen people that could benefit from adding starches or a bit more carbs to improve energy and body fat ?

    • @TobiWillTrainieren
      @TobiWillTrainieren 2 роки тому +2

      Yes, for your thyroid function it's very beneficial to have at least 150 - 200 g of carbs a day!
      Long term keto does decrease thyroid hormones for a lot of people (especially women).
      As long as you ditch seed oils completely, you can eat balanced amounts of natural carbs and fats together without getting any problems.
      I ditched seed oils in 2015 and today I can eat high fat and sugar, while feeling amazing with tons of energy and a leaner body then before.

    Ok, I don't get it. Why would the body do all of those things, if humans were carnivores for over 4 million years. The skeletal remains analysis proves that conclusively, we know we ate almost exclusively animals up until around 10k years ago, with up to 5% plant matter, probably mostly mushrooms. It doesn't make much sense to me. We know we were exclusively carnivorous in our evolutionary past, the human body is made to eat meat and fat, I don't see how it would become too acidic, or why would our colon have problems with it.

    • @tanyasydney2235
      @tanyasydney2235 2 місяці тому

      Modern carnivores' diet is not the same as the ancestral one. How many people you know eat nose to tail these days, or eat the meat rare or drink blood? Ancestrally, you would eat every part of the animal and thereby have a much more balance chemistry.

    • @Peter-vn5jq
      @Peter-vn5jq 2 місяці тому

      @@tanyasydney2235 No, you wouldn't. Everything you said is dumb. We've had cooking for longer than we've been human, literally, oldest evidence for cooking fires is at like 700k years ago, currently. That's before our current speciation as homo sapiens sapiens by far. And organs mostly were discarded, later given to dogs, nobody likes that shit now, I bet nobody liked it back then. Nose to tail is a modern myth, we evolved eating the muscle meat and fat of big ruminant animals. And even if we ate organs- think about it for a second. What % of an animal is composed of the liver? Hm? 1%, if that? And what % of the animal is composed of muscle meat and fat? A hell of a lot more than 1%, no? Now, use that big hominid brain of yours and figure out which we could eat more of.
