What if your closet is a capsule wardrobe?😂
I agree with fixing your hair. I was running late so I put on my go to dress, fixed my hair, put on earrings and lipstick and went out the door. I even received a couple of compliments😮
Wish you'd make a video on more casual looks that we can elevate. Like running errands, or a dog walk, a walk in the park on a Sunday. Just simple outfits that look nice.
Noted!
@@AnnaBeyOfficial thank you so much! ❤️
Tailored shorts/skirts/trousers. No sweats. No inside yoga wear. No jeans with rips or holes. A nice top with or without a collar or cuffs, long sleeve or short sleeve. No faded or over-sized T-shirts from 20 years ago. Clean shoes. Take care of dirt and scuffs and soles.
Yes!
That would be great since I’m a stay at home mom who basically deals with messes all day but I still want to look good!
When you stay ready you don’t have to get ready. Keep a regular mani/pedi, keep your hair and skin in good health and your body fit. You’ll look great even in a rush
Exactly!
Completely agree
Exactly what I was thinking.
I pick out my clothes on Saturday afternoon, mix and match them according to the colour theme of the week. Iron and then hung them as five outfits for the week. It creates hustle free morning as I go to work.
I tried to do that for a while, but then gave up as it is a lot work. But I admire you!
Very useful advice. Very much appreciated, thank you.😘😘😘
I must say that the pink colour of Anna's shirt is so stunning on her - so young and fresh!🌸It looks extraordinary. Personally, even better than the frequently worn baby blue. Proof of the importance of the colour analysis. 😊
100 percent! Anna, you look 18 years old here. That top and lipstick color is so flattering on you!
Anna. You look happier in your recent videos. Happier and more energetic. There is definitely a change in your energy. ❤
To elevate your outfit is a much better term to me than saying looking rich which counts me out.
I strive to look nice, organized and very clean.
I wear Hijab and Abaya .. so I ALWAYS prepare my abayas cleaned, ironed and slightly perfumed ready for action. Even after I wear them .. I hang them right when I reach home and let them air if not needed to be washed again,Then repeat the steam iron and scent. Polished shoes and clean stockings and of course a basic under abaya wear “black long sleeves cotton shirt and black trousers”. Recently I bought tinted lip balms so it will be easier to wear than lipsticks when in a hurry.
Tinted lip balm is a good idea, thanks!
Mashallah ✨🦋

Just from this description I can tell you have it all together girl 😂❤ nice work.. I'm sure you always look beautiful
@@myahgormley9788 thank you 🩷😄 you are so sweet
You're looking like an angel Anna!
She IS an angel!
@@pavlastyrcova4236 agreed!
💯 That pink shirt+lipstick looks really good on her
I'm 56 and 2 weeks ago I had breast reduction surgery so I'm now looking to renew my wardrobe to fit my new much smaller size. I like these videos because you give us so many ideas and my go to style used to be the fit & flare dress with pockets in any colour but now after my surgery I might have to rethink that. My mother aways said "Always dress your best because you never know where the day will take you"...words to live by.
Congrats. I am now 74, and my reduction when I was about your age. Try not to gain or lose weight Super important.
PS I didn't shop for new clothes for about 4 months.
I was a tad older than you…I agree that it takes about for things to settle down…and you can find a bra that works well for the new you. But for the first year don’t go bra crazy…comfort and fit will change here and there for a year or so.
This is the type of Anna content we want ❤
A gal pal of mine has a trick with using wigs. She uses them for special occasions or for her "in a rush" mornings. The way she does it is bombshell worthy and goof proof....How clever!!
How about a vest? I think vest is the new T-shirt in a capsule wardrobe. I kinda fall in love with vests recently and every time I mix it in my OOTD, I always receive compliments from strangers. I mean, every single time ❤
I totally agree that we need a video on like casual/active/gym style. I own a gymnastics school and am the head coach. I have to wear active wear, and i just do not know how to elevate it.
These are wonderful tips! I’m a young 20 year old about to turn 21 and am trying to redo my closet along with my lifestyle one step at a time. Rushing in the morning is one of my biggest problem areas. Much love from the U.S. ❤
Prepare at night. So, no rush in am.
Wow that nice,I’m 19 and I am looking to level up my style,I’m am also thinking of joining Anna finishing school.I am looking to improve my life in all aspects in terms of networking, dating ,etiquette, behavior, articulating myself well
Aline, wrinkle free dress and a beautiful, elegant scarf!
Speaking of scarves, I'd love to see a scarf video for this fall season!
I adore scarves and love to wear them in autumn and winter as they have the ability to lift an outfit and help to make a more pulled together, chic look. As I tend to wear more solid colours during the cooler months, I find subtle patterned scarves, whether monochromatic or in a complimentary colour, add just the right amount of flair and personality, even if going out for errands. My favourite for autumn and winter are scarves that are made with a combination of wool/cashmere and silk; they are warm yet thin and soft. A video on how a scarf can elevate a look would be quite useful indeed.
@@o.m7095
Cashmere and silk sound like a lovely combination! I shall keep that in mind!
I too would love a scarf tutorial. I adore scarves and have soooo many. My problem is, while I'm not overweight, I have a lot of neck puffiness from medications I take. When I try to wear scarves, they often make my face and neck look worse. I have some tying methods that I know work for me, but I'd like to see more.
would love a video about hats/caps ettiquette and when/how to remove them. I understand you are to remove them when eating/entering a place? And what if you are on a terrace dining? only wear them outside? Is it indifferent whether you dine indoors or outdoors? if you take if off, where do you lay it? should you caress your hair to make sure it is neat? What about wearing a hat to church? What about inside a church wedding? I would love to know what would be the correct etiquette. What about hat/cap and gloves also? Umbrella? Thanks so much. I believe it is important to know how to properly behave with all the 'extras'.
Im curly haired as a 3B, very wiry. So I cannot use heat tools at all, without my hair getting 80s hair band big. 2 clippies to put my hair into a tidy bun, after dutch braiding looks nice. I was forced to dress and behave very masculine, so I really appreciate your videos. Im finally at a place where Im allowed to be delicate and feminine and it is soo nice. Im tall with a big head, so I feel like an ogre trying to pick out clothing. 😢 TYVM!
Hi Ana!!!! My go to formula for ANY sofisticated event is a black midi dress with boat neck. I find the boat neck sooooo chic.
I have one for summer (sleeveless) and one for winter (long sleeves). Good quality wrinkle-free fabric that don't wash out. ❤
Depending on the occasion all I have to do is put on pearl earrings, a bun and red lip stick.
Countless times these dresses saved me.😅
This shade of pink really suits you!
I agree - I feel so much more confident in a 2-2.5-inch, comfy block (genuine leather) heel than a sneaker. I’m not tall and I think it elongates me and shows off my legs more. Here in San Francisco when I was younger, we could always tell who the tourists were by their sneakers, we locals all wore leather shoes or boots. Of course, nowadays that’s changed, even women in Paris wear sneakers all the time, but still around 10 years ago that was a big No there. I only wear sneakers if I have to, for walking all day. With some effort, it’s possible to find chic, but comfortable, leather shoes with low to medium block heels, my current favorite are Sezane’s Paula Babies. But those are sling-backs, I’m looking for something similar but with covered heels for the transitional season.
That hair, dress and lipstick color suits you SO WELL!
As a sleep-in, im proud to say ive got fast elegant morning looks down to a science. I stick to a color palette for easy mix and match salmon pink, brown, dark orange, mustard yellow and emerald green. This colour palette is for everything from clothes, shoes, bags, hair accessories. I elimated black except for a little black dress in case of funerals since its diffult to match. I stick with loafers and mules becuase i travel in public transport and commute alot. I buy velvet and silk pleated skirts for that luxurious wrinkle free fabric. I stick with good quality linen, silk or cotton for blouses. I handwash my good clothes so it dries as wrinkle free as possible and then i hang them in those chinese clothes steam auto ironing thing for easy wrinkle free clothes. They need to be good quality fabric for the steam to iron out the wrinkles. hair routine at night makes it easy to just let my hair down in the morning with a hair claw
I go to events - book festivals and gigs that are often in city centres where I will need to walk up to several miles. Nobody can look elegant with blisters - comfortable and walkable shoes ( even if they go into the handbag to be replaced with heels ) are essential
Maxi dresses and abayas. Works 100% of the time and so easy to look pulled together. Pair with heels to dress up, sneakers to dress down, and black is always in. Never have a problem with a bad hair day because it’s hidden under a hijab. Having said that, there are bad hijab days :)
Ditto!
😊😊 I agree and add a beautiful handbag and that s it 😂
bad hijab days are the worst 😅
A mid-length dress is my go-to in summer, especially. 👗 It's one and done and cooler than shorts or pants. Also, I am older and don't care for my legs as much, so a dress covers the legs. This was a good review of some basic styling tips.
I agree! I'm in my 60's and a mid calf dress works everytime
It is good fr the tall girls like me i ador it💖✨
The maxi dresses are the best solution for me
Thank you Anna. Please more videos like this on quick, easy, everyday elegance. How do I look elegant going grocery shopping, or at the gym for example? Love your content lately! ❤😊
Anna Quote Hall Of Fame: "Fashion doesn't have to be like this work of art that you have worked 100 years on curating."
I appreciate the fact you added a blazer. Love wearing them and a nice scarf.
My go to dress item is maxi beige dress with long sleeves and elastic waist that shaped like a thick belt on the waist. Made from 100% cotton. Super comfy for humid yet hot daily weather in Asia. I wear it with ankle boots and scarf. Add some freshwater/ saltwater pearls for bracelet or necklace.
I think the biggest improvement I made in terms of getting ready fast is Anna's tip of having go-to outfits/capsule wardrobe. I've memorized and kept them off to the side about 20 outfits varying from casual to very elegant and ever since I did that I now have an exact vision of what clothes I need to grab depending on my day, if I'm in a rush or don't feel like getting creative that is
As a petite, 5’3” and 103 lbs - I always gravitated to the pencil cut skirts, and dresses because my type of frame can be easily overwhelmed by too much fabric.
Dresses are the best thing to wear in a rush. You just slip it on and boom, you already look pretty.
During winter: Classy trousers, a turtleneck, and a nice coat. Done.
Also flats are a better option than sneakers. Flats are comfortable, always look great, and they can be casual or formal. No sneakers ❌
The colored pants tip is really good. Plain top paired with colorful pants or skirt can always work.
❤A line dresses, always work for me. I Love them.
I love A line dresses. Perfect for covering a little belly bump and look great with any jacket on top when the weather calls for it.
The more time goes on, the prettier you look! Pink looks amazing you! Great video
Perfect tips :) I am just questioning the non-wrinkling wear because I absolutely will not put on some polyester.
Then may I suggest you have at least one natural fiber dress or outfit ironed/steamed for those emergency days
Maybe silk? wool?
Lyocell or cupro. Both made from cellulose, processing is cleaner and less waist full as for viscose. But I think you still need to steam it a bit
@@payattention31 silk will wrinkle :)
@@princessAdPa ohip right
My go to clothes that go everywhere: 1. Long black flowy dress that makes me look very feminine, and I wear attractive flats with it; 2. Black pants (not jeans), an interesting T-shirt (never tight!), or a blouse and great trainers that complete the style instead of ruining it. In both cases, attractive designer label bags that look affordable (but are not that affordable). In addition, skin care, nails painted in a neutral or cute color, but not long, and an eye-catching bracelet also do the trick. Nothing flashy or gaudy.
Anna, I would love to hear how you would approach a wardrobe for a busy mom. I have watched nearly every one of your videos, and have made wonderful changes to my inner self and appearance over the past year, but I am struggling to apply your tips when most of my days consist of chores, and errands such as shopping for groceries and pet food. I (sadly) never have any lunch dates planned with friends, or have events to attend to, but I want to continue to level myself up, while staying true to my lifestyle, which is rural mom life. I also live in British Columbia Canada, where it is snowy and cold, which makes winter styling even more difficult. No cute suede boots for me. Thanks Anna 💕
I love wrap dresses. They can camouflage some areas that you don't want attention drawn to, such as a little bit of fat on your belly. I love these dresses. All types of fabrics and lenghts, I love it.
Tshirt dress is my GO TO Dress
I had to click when I saw Ralph Lauren ❤
Thanks dear for the valuable tips 😊
Today’s wigs are fantastic. Perfect hair all the time!
My go to dress model is definitely A-line. As I have an triangle shape, the extra fabric and flare at the bottom always balances me out and adds that feminine softness to my athletic frame . I love the information and “can-do-right-now” tips you give Anna. ❤
Definitely look up Kibbe Body Types - complete game changer
@@talktosummerofficial I have. Definitely helped and leveled me up.
My go to dress is surplice wrap (or faux wrap) style, with an A-line skirt falling somewhere just above or below the knee. This is pretty universally flattering.
Need this as a postpartum momma. Always in a “rush” compared to when I was pre-babies.
I would love it if you could make a video on how to dress elegantly for a plus size pear shape.
Spot on on hair! I tend to invest in quality products that can help out when I don't have time to wash and style it!
Hope you can do a video about mid luxury brands you love and exudes elegance!
Yes would love that
I go to a sundress with a hat, sunglasses, sandals and handbag. Pearl earrings and a nautical charm bracelet.
A fit and flair dress is my go to! ❤
Me too. Usually around knee length for me.
my go-to: a mockneck/turtleneck sweater (in short or long sleeve) with dark wash bootcut jeans or straight/wide leg black or grey trousers
I don’t put anything into my closet unless it’s clean and steamed or ironed, as appropriate. Or, cleaned, mended, etc. I just leave things in my laundry room until I can get to them. This really simplifies my getting dressed in a hurry. Plus, freshly steamed/ironed clothes, polished shoes, etc., need to dry a bit before being put away or worn. Damp clothes crease too easily. I have a clothesline and big stand fan in my laundry room for that. My go-to outfit is a dress, or skirt/top outfit, with sandals in warm weather or boots in cold, always with 2-inch or so heels. Or a trouser outfit, but much more rarely.
As a Brazilian lady with big hips, an A-line dress is the best option. Always.
I've perfected a quick French twist with a clip for those off days. And two easy, comfortable outfits I only wear when I'm rushed. They have their own teeny section in the closet safe from squishing and wrinkles.
Silky 70s maxi wrap dress is my go-to dress
I wear a simple dress that fits me perfectly, with a hat and some comfortable shoes 😊
I adore a nice short-sleeved dress, knee-length, A-line, but most importantly: in a soft, heavy fabric such as viscose. And while they are not super formal, they can be dressed up or down for any day-time activity.
A line dresses work for me every time ❤
I work at home so my "uniform" is jeans and a tee shirt with sneakers or sandals. I can throw on heels and a NAVY CRESTED BLAZER and I'm good to go.
Love this!
Thanks a lot Anna Bey, I love you 😭. I didn't know I could combine a colored bag with a monochromatic look, so now I can buy a red bag without fear🙈. I have it illuminated 🤣✨
Love this! My go to is highlighting my waist in some form, and heels whenever possible. Living in Scandinavia, winter season lasts 6 months and outerwear is very important. I have a green coat that perfectly matches my colours. Went to colour analysis (not the 4 seasons but Susanne Caygill method, super personalized) and it has made life SO much easier always knowing what will work for me. A request - can you do a video on dressing classy when it's SUPER cold? As in you absolutely have to wear a scarf and cover your ears and hands. Would be great!
Anna you are looking radiant 🌟 💕 My go to are midi dresses.
Can we see some autumn Shoes and outfits please 💓
Yes on dry shampoo & bun! Monochrome is classy. Like an older lady in Palm Springs in all white. A nice scarf can help too. Looking forward to Wednesday!
Wouldn't d love to see something for super cold climates like Alaska and then one for very warm climates in Texas that are in triple digit heat most of the year
Finally you mention colors. I love it 😍
That pink color really looks fabulous on you!
Great tips. My hairdresser recommended using dry shampoo before going to bed. Works well.
Yes, to the idea of investing in blouses. There’s also works great for zoom meetings to have something interesting and elevated to fill the screen.
The most go-to dress would be one that is midi-length, with sleeves. You can wear it anywhere, midi/maxi length when your legs are not perfectly shaved. A-line, feminine soft pink or beige, floral pattern, flowy material ( like what I was wearing today ).
Great tips ❤ My go-to dress model is the mini because my legs are my best feature 😅
Absolutely love how you include images of examples, SO helpful!💗💗💗
I love these very practical type videos with clear, doable instructions I can apply immediately to elevate myself. Thank you Anna for your awesome content! Keep up the good work👍
My go-to dress is a knee-length slightly shaped shift. It's simple, easy, I can pull it over my head and not even worry about using the zipper.
Anna looks so radiant pretty here!🌸
Love the monochromatic look with a pop of colour. I am excited to try this style on! Thank you for sharing 🌻
I love that you include multiple ethnicities in your photo. It's little that makes you feel included. Yes, black people can be elegant with they're natural hair too :)
My go-to dress is a A line dress or a Wrap dress. It could be above or below the knees, both are comfortable and elegant.
This colour looks beautiful with your eyes! 🤩💖
Ana, you look soooo good in this video! The pink makes you look glowing and its so so pretty 🥰🥰
Dear Anna, great content! By fav takeway- Hair is more than makeup ! So true
My go to dress is ankle length A line dress with a v neck and a quarter sleeve , adding a belt to it . Always appropriate , very comfortable.
My dress would be a pencil skirt. My problem is I live in a small rural town, not much here to look nice for, do you know what I mean? I don’t have many opportunities to dress up or super elevated/elegant + lately I have had to do manual labor & dress ugly- well I am being honest.
Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate your content ❤
Gonna apply those formulas!! My go to dress is the pencil dress. I only own dress and mostly pencil dresses then if I want to spice things up I just add a top. Like a blouse or whatever fits the occasion.
My go-to is a midi length pencil skirt. It is so versatile and comfortable for me. Being 5'4 dresses can be challenging in the waist length measurement in off-the-rack clothing.
This video is sooo good! My go to dress is usually a pencil dress or even a minidress with longer sleeves.
I completely agree about this ridiculous sneaker trend that the social media seems to sell. My goodness I cannot imagine showing up to work in sneakers. I agree about the heels
Thank you for the tips Anna ❤
Hi Anna, I just wanted to say that you don't deserve the amount of hate you are getting online and that I hope you don't listen to any of it. I have really benefited from your content. Jealous, mean spirited people will always be around but what matter is that you don't let it affect you. You are doing something really good with your platform nowadays and I wish more people would listen to what you actually have to say, rather than make assumptions about you based on rumors about your past. Sending much love from Sweden. Hope you have a great Sunday!
My fool proof choice is always the maxidress, it's magic.
Love this gorgeous and elegant lady ❤
Love her videos !
Thank you for the tips 🎀
I think you mentioned hair extensions before. I’d love a few videos on them if you still wear them. Your hair is gorgeous!
Very nicely culminated all the necessary points !! Thanks in tons Anna!! 😍👍
So I have a work capsule of 5 basic dresses and 5 jackets. Love playing in blouses and scarves/shawls for fun. My favorite of the dresses are the pencil dresses ❤
Hello, Anna. Thanks for the recommendations, pink suits you very well btw!
I too love a midi length shirtwaist dress but I discovered this summer that a sleeveless, well fitted sheath that skims my body is even more flattering.
Thank you for all you do for women ❤️
